(IT’S GONNA BE A REGRETFUL MARRIAGE)
“Dad,” Noah called in surprise.
“That’s final, you said the news will go down but it kept increasing, so reporters even have the gut to visit here this morning, so I can’t wait anymore, they are getting on my nerves” Mr Everest said.
“I don’t think she is even ready for the marriage yet” Noah said and they all turn to Adelaide.
“Are you ready yet?” Mr Everest asked.
“Yeah….” She replied with mixed feelings.
“See don’t even try to make excuses, you guys should go shopping tomorrow and buy everything you will need” Mr Everest said and stood up, his wife also followed him as they left.
“Are you really okay with this, can you tell me if you are not?” Noah said to her.
“I am okay” she said and he suddenly grabbed her hand.
“Let me show you around,” he said and took her out. Nicholas’ eyes were at their back as they walked out. He bites his lip slowly.
“So what’s your name, cat?” Francisco asked while looking at Autumn.
“Autumn” she said and he smile.
“What’s your name?” He asked Delaney who was still pressing her phone but she didn’t even respond.
“She is Delaney, she doesn’t like talking to strangers, let me show you around” Autumn said and they both went out. Delaney raises her head up and stares at them.
“So how did you see the wife?” Nicholas suddenly asked.
“I don’t care, don’t ask me” she scoffed rudely.
“Are you still angry that Autumn got the highest score in school?” Nicholas asked.
“Of course I am,” she said.
“You shouldn’t put too much hate, she is your sister,” Nicholas said.
“It’s funny coming from someone who hates his brother,” Delaney scoffed.
“He is not my brother, it’s just unfortunate that we have the same father,” Nicholas said.
“Same here, it’s bad enough that we are living on the same roof, so stop calling her my sister, I will never see her that way” Delaney snapped before walking away. Nicholas left for his room too.

“That girl, I don’t think she is the right person for Noah” Mrs Everest said, she was sitting beside her husband.
“Why did you think so?” Mr Everest asked.
“She didn’t have any relatives, look at her brother, I don’t even want to stand in his presence, they are classless, how will someone like that marry our son?” Mrs Everest asked.
“So to cut to your stories short, I believe you are trying to say they can’t marry because she is poor and didn’t have any relative?” Mr Everest asked.
“I am just trying to help, she looks like a golddigger, she didn’t see anything wrong with him having a child because all she cares about is hit money, she didn’t complete the wedding too, she was just too desperate to get rich” she said.
“I can’t believe this is coming from you, remember we just spent a night together and then you were pregnant, you kept on disturbing me till my wife found out, she brought you into this house, I can’t believe you are now judging her” Mr Everest said.
“ Why are you talking about my past?” she asked.
“Am just making you realize that, if she is a golddigger, then you too” Mr Everest said .
“It hasn’t gone to that extent, I am just trying to protect my son,” she said.
“He isn’t your son,” Mr Everest said and left for his study room.
“She hasn’t married into this family and all this is happening already” Mrs Everest thought as a smirk came to her face.

“So how did you see the place?” Noah asked. He was still holding her hand which made her feel butterflies.
“It’s more beautiful than I can imagine,” she smiled.
“Good to hear that, you will move here after marriage” he said.
“What about my brother?” She asked gently.
“He will be living here too, dad likes it when all family members live together” Noah said with a smile.
“About his college, “ she said.
“Don’t worry I am on it already, he will be going to the same college with Autumn and Delaney” Noah said.
“You are really nice, “ she muttered.
“Not really “ he said and started walking away, she ran after him immediately.
“Why did I find her cute?” Nicholas mutters from where he was watching them, he just loves seeing her. Maybe this is what they called love at first sight.

“You are spending the night here, tell your brother too” Noah said as they entered his room together.
“But why?” She asked.
“What else you have to prepare for the wedding, you have only tomorrow to remember” Noah said and entered the bathroom. She stood up and started looking around the room, the door opened and Emily came into the room.
“Where is my dad?” The girl asks.
“Wow cutie, what is your name?” Adelaide asked with her best smile. The girl kept looking at her without saying anything.
“Your dad is in the bathroom” Adelaide finally answers her questions.
“Tell him I came” Emily said and walked away before Adelaide could say anything.
“Calm down Ade, she will come around, you are good with kids remember” she said to herself. The bathroom door opened and Noah came out, he was already in his pajamas.
“Did someone come here?” He asked.
“Yeah, your daughter, she doesn’t seem to like me though” Adelaide said.
“She is a shy type, so give her time,” Noah said.
“I am going to see her now, you can sleep on the bed, I will sleep in the sitting room” Noah said.
“No no, you can sleep on your bed, I don’t mind sleeping on the couch” she said.
“Do you think I will ever allow you to do that?” He asked before walking out of the room. Adelaide lay down with a smile plastered on her face.
“He is so nice” she said and roll around on the bed.

“This is your room, sleep tight,” Autumn said gently.
“Thanks cat” he smirks which makes her smile.
“If you need anything, that is my room” she said pointing at a door at the opposite side.
“Goodnight, I guess I will see you tomorrow” he said and went in. Autumn stood at the same place with a bright smile before hopping to her room.
“Fools” Delaney mutters , she has been watching them, she went to her room and sat down. She brings out her phone and chest the school post. She saw a post about her and Autumn’s pictures and Autumn’s pictures were more likable than hers.
“Why must this happen every time?” she scoffed and threw her phone away.
“I think I need to put a stop to this” she thought as her mind went to Fransisco, she rolled her eyes and fell asleep.

“Wake up sister in law” Autumn scream was what woke her up, she quickly stood up and saw her smiling.
“Morning,” she muttered.
“We the girls are going shopping, take your bath quickly and let go” Autumn said and pushed her into the bathroom. She came out later to see a pretty dress on the bed, she wore it before going out. She met Autumn, Delaney and Emily waiting for her.
“You are so pretty” Autumn gushed as she led her outside, she was also holding Emily while Delaney was behind them pressing her phone as usual. They all enter the girl except Delaney who enters a different car and they drive out. They arrive at a mall to see wedding dresses and Adelaide can’t stop looking at the beautiful dresses.
“Brother said we should buy as many clothes as we want,” Autumn said while showing the black card. Delaney left them and started picking clothes.
“Just ignore her, that’s her way of living” Autumn said when she noticed Adelaide was staring at her.
“Let’s have fun together” Adelaide said and stretched her hand toward Emily, she hesitated a little but accepted the hand which made Adelaide smile.
The staff lead them to a room that was filled with expensive wedding dresses, for both children and bride friends. Autumn ran towards a beautiful dress and ran into the dressing room to try it out.
Adelaide looked around and saw a pretty dress, and picked it up.
“Do you like it, it is so pretty?” She asked with a smile. Emily looked at the dress and a smile spread on her face.
“ I like it, so pretty” she smiled while looking at the dress. Adelaide led her into the dressing room and she changed into a beautiful dress. She also helps her to pack her hair, which makes her look very pretty.
“You are looking so beautiful,” Adelaide said. Emily looks at herself in the mirror for some time before running to hug Adelaide which surprises her.
“Thank you so much, I have always wished to have someone that will style my hair like the other girls in my class’ ‘ she said cutely.
“Then you have found the right person, I am very good at styling” Adelaide said, which made Emily smile.
“That dress, I think it will look good on you” Emily said while pointing at a beautiful wedding gown.
“Wow that is true, let me try it out” she said and took the dress, they went in with some staff and they helped her to put it on, they both came out of the room.
“My gosh, you two are looking so beautiful, let’s take a selfie” Autumn said. She was already dressed in the clothes she chose too. The three of them posed and she snapped them.
Shopping with my soon to be sister in-law and my niece, rate our look. She writes before posting the picture. They get twenty thousand likes within some minutes and a lot of comments.
“Wow you guys are looking so beautiful.
“I still can’t believe Noah is getting married, what about Jasmine.
“The bride is so beautiful.
“The picture is not complete without Delaney. A lot of comments were coming.
“They like your sister in law,” Autumn said, which made her smile.
Delaney was wearing her clothes, she had already tried her own dress, she suddenly saw the post and scoffed loudly before switching it off. She didn’t wait for them and drove back home.

The door to Noah’s office opened loudly and Jasmin came in, she was looking so angry.
“Sir I am very sorry, I tried to stop her” Nancy said while coming into the office. She was breathing heavily.
“You can go,”Noah said and Nancy left.
“ I saw the news, so you decided to marry her, you even say we have broken up in the media” she said.
“Jasmine, I think it can’t work between us, especially when you hate my kid,” Noah said.
“I don’t hate her, I didn’t actually come here because of that” she said.
“So why are you here then” he asked
“I was surprised when I saw the news about your marriage, I thought things can’t just go that way, so I went to do some research at the club and get some information about the girl,” Jasmin said and dropped an envelope. Noah unwrapped it and it was the picture of Adelaide with many different guys at the club.
“According to my investigation, she always slept with different rich men everyday at the club,” Jasmin said.
“That night, she put something in your drink before sending it through a waitress,” Jasmin said while showing him the picture of Adelaide putting something in the drink.
“She took you to the room herself,” Jasmin said while showing him the picture where a waitress was taking him to a room, though the person’s face was not showing because she was looking down.
“She had s*x with you and use it against you and you foolishly fall for it” Jasmin said.
“I can’t believe this” Noah shook his head, he couldn’t believe he had been a fool, the picture looks exactly like her no doubt.
“So you see, you are getting involved with a golddigger, so cut off the marriage,” Jasmin said.
“I won’t cut off the marriage,” he said.
“Why?” Jasmine asked in surprise.
“I want her to regret ever playing with me, she has to know that not all that glitters is gold, she has to regret coming into my life, I will make her see hell in this marriage.
“So I am going to marry her,” Noah said with a cold smirk.
