UNEXPECTED KNOT : CHAPTER 61 – 70

“Who is the big mouse?” Noah asked.

“Did I say that out loud” she said and covered her lip.

“So you are a big mouse now?” Stanley asked with a smirk.

“Don’t call me that” Noah said and they started eating in silence. Stanley finally leaves after some time. Adelaide quickly runs into the room before Noah can ask her any questions.

UNEXPECTED KNOT : CHAPTER 61 – 70

THE NEXT MORNING

I didn’t see you yesterday, “ Nicholas said with a smile.

“I just have to follow Noah, when he comes,” she said slightly.

“Should I help you to the office?” He asked while looking at her face.

“You don’t have to worry I will go myself “ she said and was about to go but missed a step, he quickly grabbed her by the waist to prevent her from falling.

“Thank you” she said and released herself from him, then she ran down the stairs, Noah car packed beside her and she got in, Nicholas was watching them from where he was staying.

“What is all this all about?” Mrs Everest asked behind him.

“Mum,” he smiled.

“Don’t smile at her, why are you acting weird, don’t tell me you love that riffraff?” Mrs Everest asked.

“You shouldn’t talk to her that way,” Nicholas said.

“If you have any feelings for her, I will advise you to get rid of everything right now” Mrs Everest said.

“You can’t tell me who to love,” Nicholas snapped.

“This one is different, she is your brother’s wife and I will never let you marry her even if she wasn’t,” Mrs Everest said.

“He is not my brother, I am going to take everything from him, you must think I am joking when I told you time weeks ago but just sit and watch, I will take all from him because they belong to me in the first place” Nicholas said and stomped into the mansion.

“I am going to help you with taking everything from him but I will never allow anything to happen between you and that girl” Mrs Everest muttered and entered the mansion.

“Morning sir and ma” Nancy greeted as Noah and Adelaide enter her office, Noah ignores her while Adelaide just bow her head, she give her some files and glare at her as she was entering her office. The first thing that Adelaide saw was a invitation card, she took it to Noah.

“You are invited to a party” she said and Noah tore it open to read what was inside.

“It was the people’s choice award, it’s gonna be happening next week Saturday” Noah said.

“Yeah, I have heard about that before” Adelaide said why looking at the card, she can still remember that it was only important people that are invited to the party.

“You have to bring someone though” she said gently, pointing at a place that they write plus one.

“You are coming with me because you are my wife” he said and sat down, Adelaide smiled secretly after hearing that from him.

LATER IN THE NIGHT

Francisco came out of his room and looked around before sneaking to Autumn room, he knocked slightly and she came out already dressed.

“You are ready right?” He said and she nodded. Stacy came to join them too.

“Where is Delaney?” Autumn asked.

“I don’t think she is coming,” Stacy said.

“Let go then” Autumn said and they started sneaking toward the main door.

“So you guys are planning to leave without me?” Delaney suddenly asked behind them.

“We don’t know you are coming” Francisco smiles but she just ignores him and goes out, they all sneak out of the mansion after Francisco has a few words with the guards. Dalton’s car was parked as planned, Dalton and Brielle came out to greet them.

“We are getting late already, let’s hurry” Delaney said and they all enter the back seat remaining Brielle and Delaney. Brielle wanted to join Dalton at the front seat but Delaney pushed her away,she almost fell. Delaney entered the front seat and Brielle went to join others at the back. Dalton drives and they soon arrive at the boy’s house.

“Parker is so rich,” Stacy said in surprise while looking at the mansion.

“His father is the owner of the college,” Dalton said.

“Really wow” Stacy gasped.

“Do you have a crush on him now?” Autumn asked.

“No, you know my one and only crush” Stacy blushed. They entered the mansion and the boy came to welcome them.

“I am so happy to have you all here” he said and fist bumped the boys, he started hugging the girl but Dalton quickly dragged Brielle away from him before he could hug her. He smiled and led them into the sitting room, the party was going in full force and a lot of students were having fun.

A crate of alcohol was dragged in front of them, Brielle wanted to carry a bottle but Dalton slapped her hand, he asked for a non alcoholic drink and gave it to her, she pouted sadly and watched others drinking it. Though Autumn and Stacy spit it out immediately they have a taste but Delaney was drinking it like a pro, she was sitting so close to Dalton like she wanted to enter him.

They watched the girls that were dancing on the stage.

“Let’s have fun,” Autumn said and the girls started dancing. Francisco was watching Delaney who was dancing seductively on the stage.

“She is really trying so hard to impress you,” Francisco said while looking at her.

“Yeah, too bad I didn’t even see her, look Autumn dancing so prettily” Dalton said why looking at her. Francisco also looks at them and smiles. Autumn saw him looking at her and went to drag him so they are now dancing together. Dalton looks away from them. Delaney looks at him expecting him to come to her but he just looks away. Parker went closer to Brielle, he had been watching her and her cute face was captivating her, immediately he touched her waist, Dalton pushed him away, no one even knew when he got to their place, he dragged Brielle back to the seat and that made her frown sadly.

Some Minutes Later

They are now in the pool while having fun, somewhere kissing while others are grinding on each other. Autumn was swimming in the pool with Stacy. Brielle was sitting at the side of the pool her leg dip inside the water, she wish to swim with them but can’t swim., Dalton was at a corner with Delaney clinging on him, he was looking at the pool wishing he was among them and all Delaney was saying doesn’t even enter her head. Autumn saw Fransisco sitting alone and went to join him.

“why are you not swimming?” She asked with a smile.

“I am just not in the mood” he mutters and stares at Delaney who was grabbing Dalton’s arm.

“Is it because of her?” Autumn asked gently and got no response.

“I know you are sad right now, but just know if she is for you, she will be yours” Autumn said though her heart is hurting.

“That wasn’t the problem, the fact that she got every damn behavior that I hate but I still can’t stop thinking about her, that drives me really crazy” Francisco said frustratedly.

“I know, just forget everything,” Autumn said.

“Thank you so much, how I wish you were her?” Francisco suddenly said and they stared at each other.

“What are you saying? “ Autumn said nervously and went back into the pool.

“Cat is so cute, look at her” Francisco chuckled while watching as she swam around in the pool.

“Are you coming to our mansion tomorrow, since it is Saturday?” Delaney asked Dalton.

“Not sure yet, me and Fransisco didn’t talk about that,” he said.

“I really wish you would come,” she said and rested her head on his shoulder.

“If I am coming, I must come with my sister” Dalton said while removing her head from his shoulder with style.

“Why must you two go everywhere together?” she scoffed loudly. Dalton suddenly stood up and started walking toward the pool. Parker was sitting beside Brielle and he said something to her which made her smile cutely. Dalton sat down in their middle with a frown on his face. Parker frowned but didn’t say anything, he just stood up and left.

“Avoid him, don’t trust man” he said seriously.

“He is just a friend, why should I avoid him? You are acting like I am a kid but I am actually eighteen” she scoffed.

“You are still a kid to me” he said and pecked her cheeks, Delaney was watching everything in anger, she suddenly walked toward them and kicked Brielle which made her fall into the pool. She started struggling inside the water and it was Autumn and Stacy that helped her out, her body was soaking wet.

“Do you know the impact of what you just do, you know she can’t swim” Francisco yelled while walking closer to her.

“I have warned you to stop butting in my business” she snapped at him.

“Delaney, this is serious, the fact that you are not feeling bad about it is alarming” Autumn said.

“And what right do you have to tell me that?” Delaney said.

“I’m just saying it because we are sisters,” Autumn said.

“Don’t even start, we are not sisters, and you know or do you want me to spit it?” Delaney asked. Autumn didn’t respond.

“Good then” Delaney said and left as the people started murmuring among themselves. Autumn cleaned the little tears that came out of her eyes and Stacy hugged. Seems like she also knows what Delaney is talking about, others were watching them in curiosity.

Delaney stumped out of the taxi she entered and was about to get to the gate when the driver’s voice stopped him.

“You haven’t paid yet” he said, she went back and threw the cash at him before entering the villa, she met Nicholas in the sitting room.

“And where are you coming from this late?” He asked while checking his time, it’s past 12 in the morning.

“It’s none of your business brother,” she said.

“Did you drink?” Nicholas asked and touched her face.

“I want them gone, all those peasants in this mansion, I wish I can get rid of them, ” she said. Nicholas was looking at her without saying anything. She went to her room and had a cold shower after brushing her teeth. Then she went straight to her father’s office. He was going through some files as expected, he barely slept because he loves working.

“Why are you still up, you are supposed to be sleeping” Mr Everest asked.

“Francisco and Autumn with the maid (Stacy) sneak out of the mansion to a club, I just want to tell you that” she said and left the office with a smirk on her face.

“Ahhhhhhhh” the high pitch scream was what wake Adelaide up, it was coming from Emily’s room, she sprang up immediately and went toward her room, she met Noah at her door also trying to go in so they went in together, she was shaking on the bed with a terrifying look, she looks like she has see a ghost.

“What is going on?”Adelaide asked worriedly.

“I have a terrible dream, there was a monster, he was trying to kill me” Emily said fearfully.

“Don’t worry princess, no monster can hurt you” Noah said and patted her back. They stay with her till she calms down.

“I hope you are okay now?” He asked and stood up. She nodded and he started going but she quickly grabbed him.

“Please both of you should sleep with me, the monster is going to come back if there are not enough people, ” Emily said sadly. Noah signs and joins her on the bed. She grabs both their hands and joins them together. Noah covered them with a big blanket since it was cold. They were both nervous but none of them said anything. Few minutes later, they both fell asleep. Emily opens her eyes with a naughty smile, she removes the blanket from their body and they start feeling cold, soon they are hugging each other on the bed, she smiles broadly and sleeps at a side then covers all their body with the blanket. She looks at the way they hug each other tightly and smiles broadly.

“You both should get ready for me,” she said.
