?DORA POV ?
The ringing of the phone woke me up,But I felt so tired to pick up
Thinking that I was still at my house in New York,I called out to my maid
“Betty,Betty come pick this call,Its disturbing me” I called out still laying on the bed with my eyes closed
“Betty,Betty” I called again and I heard the door open and someone walked in answering the call
But that wasn’t Betty voice,It was a male voice.
I opened my eyes and saw Michael standing beside the phone answering the call
It dawned on me then that I was no longer in my house at New York.
I am now married to Michael and am now living under his roof.
“Yes,She is here with me,I will give it to her” He said and passed me the phone
I gave him a questioning look and he mouthed at me that it was my grandma on the line
“Hello granny” I said
“Oh my child, Am so glad that you didn’t leave but am surprised,You got married so suddenly” she said
“I wasn’t given a choice and that was what you wanted right?” I said starring at Michael who gave me a smile
He sat down on the bed and took my hand in his and kssed it
I tried pulling free but his hold on my hand was tight
“I won’t deny that its what we want but I never thought that it would be soon and that you both would do it secretly” she said
I was about answering when Michael snatched the phone from me
“We had no choice but to get married yesterday and that was because we want it that way,So now granny My wife and I have a lot of things to catch up on,So now goodbye” He said and switched off the phone
“What sort of things are we catching up on Michael?” I queried as I starred at him
“Relax love,Am not here to claim my wedding night,At least for now your free,I just brought you your breakfast” He said as he put the tray on my laps
“And mind you,I made that for you myself,So please eat it” He added
“Hope its not poisoned ” I asked
“If its poisoned then it will be poisoned with love ” He said
“It won’t work on me Mr Blake” I said eating the food
“It surely would work on you Mrs Blake” he said linking my name with his
It somehow felt weird and a bit cool,I thought as I starred at him
“You know you look so very beautiful like this” He said as he sat beside me on the bed
“Don’t you have somewhere to go,Maybe to work or anything”
“No, Have decided to spend sometime with my wife,Have taken a leave for a whole month and during that whole month, I will spend each and everyday with you” He said
“You don’t have to……….”
“I want to,Remember Have promised to win your heart and that will start now” He said taking the tray away from me and putting it on the table
“I haven’t given you a proper good morning greeting yet” He said and moved towards me giving Me a kss.
I stood still in his arms,If I didn’t respond,He would leave me alone,I thought but he didn’t
He deepened the kiss and I found myself enjoying it
“Good morning my love” He said and gave me a smile
Feeling nervous and a bit shy, I moved away from him
“You promised you wouldn’t do this Michael”
“I only promised not to sleep with you yet,Holding, cuddling and kssing would be allowed” He said
“And what if I don’t want any of those things?” I questioned
“You will Dora,That I can promise you” He said
“Finish with your food and Get dressed, We are going out” He said
“Going out to where?” I asked
“I can’t tell, You can only see it for yourself and I hope you like it too” He said looking so serious and then he walked off before I could say anything else

“A cemetery? Why are we here?” I questioned as I got out of the car
“To visit someone”he replied and took my hand in his.
“Who could we possibly visit?” I said still feeling unsure
He didn’t bother to answer me,instead he held my hands tightly and walked me towards a grave
“Who is in there?” I questioned
“Our lost child ” He said scooping Down to clear the flower from the surface of the grave
It was then that I saw what was written on the grave
“Michael and Dora child”
“I had had it done since four years ago ,I didn’t want his memory to fade away from us,So I had gotten this spot for him,I come here Almost everyday” He said behind me
I knelt in front of the grave and touched it gently
I hadn’t even thought of doing this for my child But he had
It only shows that he really did care,For him to have done something to remember our lost child, only proved that he cared and if our son hadn’t died,Am sure that he would have accepted him and he would have made a good father.
“Am sorry Dora, I never should have left you that day,I never should have picked a fight with you,You didn’t deserve it, Our child didn’t” He said as he knelt beside me on the floor
“He didn’t deserve it Michael” I said as the tears slipped from my face
He gently wiped it off and pulled me into his arms
“I will make it up to you Dora, this is a vow I make to you” He said starring at me
“Mic…….”
“Shhhhh…….wherever our child is? Am sure that He would be happy there,On his sake and for our happiness, Let’s start all over again”
“I promise to make you the most happiest woman on earth, I was besotted with your sister and I threw away the most important thing to me but now have realised my mistake and I plan on rectifying it,Right son? You support me winning back your mama heart right?” He said starring at the grave
I felt touched by his words and by his persistence to win my heart
Just then the sky opened and rain began to fall
“See! This is a sign,Our child supports me and I won’t give up on winning your love” He said happily
Having nothing to say to that,He held my hand and ran with me to the car
We were soaking wet by the time we got to the car
“Now that I have my son support,I will push through with my plan” He said
“And what would that plan be?” I asked a little intrigued
“We are going for our honey moon,Get ready Dora cause I plan to seduce you till you Agree to be mine again” He said
