?alex pov?
I sat in the car,starring at melanie who was beside me
She looked sad,had i rushed her by telling her that am inlove with her
Yes she had refused but i knew that she felt sad and i knew that with time i could convince her
“Just stop me here”she said and i stopped the car
“Why ?”
“They cant possibly see us together,i dont want problems for me and my mom”she said
“So your saying that i bring problem”i said feeling annoyed that she thinks that i bring problem
“To others no but to me yes,the first thing martha said to us was not to get close to any of the royal family and if she sees me with you then my mom lose her job and i dont want that”shd said
“So now am like a disturbance in your life”
“Yes alex and its best if you just keep your distance ,your engaged to be married…..”
“Andrew told you that to get you to stay away from me right ?”
“Andrew never said such thing”i said
“Oh really?well then let me tell you that my engagement is not a real thing because i dont like nor love sarah,i only see you melanie”he said
“Dont say that alex,lets put an end to this before its too late”she said
I stopped the car and stared at her
“We havent even started a thing and you are already asking us to stop”i said feeling frustrated
My first time to love someone and she keeps on rejecting me ,that really hurt a lot
“Alex it cant work between us,your from a different world and so am i”she said
Here she goes with her different world again
“Its best that i just leave before someone spots us together”she said and before i could say Jack ,she was out of the car heading to the palace
melanie is really a complicated girl,why did i have to fall for her,i thought as i drove into the palace
As soon as i got down the guards were around me
And my mom walked out of the house coming to hug me
“Whats wrong mom?”i said
“Where have you been,you got us all worried”she said starring at me
“I just went out for a walk”i said
“You got the whole palace going crazy,we have been moving about searching for you “she said
“I was just out for a stroll and you can stop being worried ,am old enough to take care of myself”i said and walked in with her behind me
They keep on treating me like a kid,dont they know that am a grown up
I got to my room and layed on the bed,the first girl i everloved rejected me
But i wont give up,destiny have brought Melanie and i together,i wont let her just go
Just then an idea popped into my head,that will be the only way to get her close to me

I got home and undressed and when i was through i went out to look for my mother
I found her in one of the room cleaning
“Mommy let me help you with that”i said
“You came home late,hope you didnt go out looking for job”she said
“No mom,i didnt”i said thinking of where i really was
“Why dont you finish this up then i do something else before going back to the Queen “she said
“Yes mom”i said as i began to clean the room
Still cleaning ,i decided to look around,i found the room so beautiful
It must belong to one if the royal family,i thought touching a silver medal
“What the hell are doing with my medallion”
I turned on hearing the voice,the princess was starring at me in anger
“I just asked you a question,what were you doing with my medallion”
“I was only taking a look at it your Highness”she said
“Liar,you were going to steal it “she said
“I was not doing so”i said and angrily she walked towards me and pulled me to her
“You must be reported immediately”she said
“I didnt steal a thing” i said to her but she kept on calling for martha
Martha being martha walked came out on hearing her name being called
“Whats going on your Highness”martha said
“She tried stealing my medallion”she saod said
“No i didnt”i said and by now the other workers were around watching us
“Is this true melanie”
“Its not true”i said
“You liar….”the princess said about t slap my face but a hand on her stopped her
I looked up to find alex staring at me,
“She already told you ,she didnt steal a thing “he said
“But Alex you should have seen her,she was staring at my medallion lustfully”she said
“It was jyst starring,she didnt take it,so stop being a pain in the ass and go to your room “he yelled at her and she left
“What are you all looking at,get back to work”martha said and immediately they left for work
“And you melanie,clean that mess on the floor”martha said
I bent about to pick up the dirt on the floor when suddenly i was pulled up by alex
“She wont be doing a thing”he said
“But your highness…”
“Melanie will be working for me,as my personal maid and that is a first order that am stating”he said with all seriousness
I stood starring at him,he cant be serious,he just cant be….???
