Sebastian yawned again as he stared at his father and brother who looked impatient.

“He is not coming Dad,” Leander said, breaking the thick silence that had engulfed them. They were seated on a sofa each in the living room and were waiting for Zinedine to come and join them

Osiris sighed, he had called and texted his first son about an important announcement he was about to make and Zinedine hadn’t come down yet. He even sent a servant to knock on his door but got no reply yet.

“It is important that he comes so that he will hear what I am about to say and let us all exchange all the cuss words we want to.” Osiris told Leander, killing more time. He doesn’t know how to tell his sons that the reason why he had called them was because of Vlad.

“Whatever it is, I will personally inform him tomorrow myself.” Leander said. “Unlike him, I have got things to do.” He added mostly to himself.

“Okay, my announcement is, we are signing with the Whitlock company, the owner Vlad Whitlock and me has reached to an agreement and I promised him a deal. So we are signing his deal.” Osiris finally said why he had called them. He was staring at each face of his sons and saw the surprise looks on them.

“I don’t understand Dad, permit me to remind your leaking brain which is obvious, he is a Vampire, a bloody bloodsucker. So what are you saying?” Leander said in an angry tone.

“Leander, this business and his business will bring us a lot of money, so doing a deal with his company will make our own company shoot higher the more.” Osiris defended.

“We don’t need his company to do that for us, Zinedine has always made our company the envy of others so I don’t understand your logic Dad.” Leander said. “Our company leads while the others follow.”

“You won’t understand but I can assure you that more money will come with this deal. You should know how it works, Leander.” Osiris defended again. He knew it will be hard convincing his sons to partner with Vlad Whitlock.

“Dad, it is not about the bloody money, it’s about our integrity, we don’t work with the Vampires or other creatures that are not like us. You made it clear when you gave us the reins of the company and we have been doing that quite well.

We won’t do business and that’s final.” Leander’s voice rose with each word and by the end of his sentence, he was already shouting.

“Leander Wilderwood!” Osiris yelled. “You will not raise your voice at me, I taught you better than this. Vlad is coming and we are doing business with him and his company and that is it.

He has talked to me when my three sons refused to listen and I like his business ideas so we are signing his business deal whether you like it or not.” he warned and stood up. “That’s it, goodnight sons.” he added and left them.

When Osiris arrived at his room, he saw Selena glaring at him and he knew without a doubt that she heard his conversation with his sons. He locked the door behind him and faced his wife.

“The Whitlock company, really Osiris?” Selena said, confirming Osiris’ thought.

“Selena darling, you will not understand. I am just doing this for our own good.” Osiris muttered the words but she heard him.

Selena scoffed at that. “Don’t play games with me, Osiris.” she roared. “I am not dumb.”

“I’m not playing games with you Selena, see, she is blackmailing me into doing what she wants or she will expose me, I know you don’t want that to happen to me, to us.” Osiris said.

“She?” Selena brows raised in confusion.

“Yes, she is the owner of the Whitlock company and now wants us to sign the business deal with her son. If not, she will open up a lot of secrets.” Osiris revealed and once he saw that it grabs Selena’s attention he continued. “You don’t want to be thrown in the streets once Zinedine finds out the true owner of the Wilderwood company, do you?”
