“What did your mum say?” Samira quickly asked to stop Mirabel from saying any word that would provoke her mate.
“Not much, there are no white haired people in my lineage so we are back to square one.” Zinedine answered, getting up to his feet and dusting his jeans, Samira doing the same thing. “It was really a waste of time coming here.” he added and left the room.
“I’m so sorry for his behavior, he gets like this whenever he is on a dead end, please don’t take it at heart.” Samira apologizes once again on the behalf of her mate. “Let me go and talk to him.” She quickly added and left to meet Zinedine.
She saw Zinedine waiting for her in the library, going through some books on the shelves and stopping to give his mate his attention.
“You need to apologize to my friend. I don’t like the way you talked to her, she is only trying to help.” Samira stated.
“It’s fine Samira, don’t force him to apologize to me.” Mirabel said coming to meet them.
She made a cup of hot coffee appear in one of her hands, took a sip from it and offered it to Zinedine who raised his brows at her.
Shrugging at his face. “You said I didn’t offer you and your wife anything so this is what I have, so please take it. And I didn’t take your insult to heart if you must know.”
“I don’t like coffee much but thank you.” Zinedine said, collecting the cup of coffee and drinking all of it at once. He returned the cup to Mirabel with a smile.
“I’m sorry if you feel offended by words and you have to tell my wife the secret to your coffee, I want her to be preparing it for me at home everyday.
It tastes amazing.” He complimented even though the coffee was tasteless, he grabbed one of his wife’s arms and turned to leave because if he opens his mouth once more, it will be a full blown insult of Mirabel and her flavorless coffee.
Samira hurriedly bid Mirabel goodbye, thanking her before allowing herself to be half-drag outside the library.
Once they get to their respective cars, Samira and Zinedine turn their heads to look at themselves before bursting out laughing.
“Seriously, I live for the drama, my love” Samira said in between laughs. “I could see your face change the instant you tasted the bitter coffee, she didn’t offer my friends and me any coffee and luckily you didn’t offer me the coffee, I didn’t want to reject it in her presence. She makes horrible coffees and I have told her but she took it as an insult. So never again.” she added.
“Let’s go home my Treasure.” Zinedine uttered and they entered their car and drove off Mirabel premises.
Meanwhile Hiro was in a restaurant that he had stormed into and was stuffing his face into his spaghetti when a chair was brought close to him and without lifting up his head he knew who it was.
Viva.
Viva was out of her house, she has been coming up with a plan and today seems like a perfect day to carry out her plan. She couldn’t wait anymore but food comes first so that she can think well.
Entering the restaurant, she wasn’t really paying the few people sitting round any attention. She was wearing a pair of light blue, high-waisted jeans that fit her perfectly, accentuating her curves and a white top to go with it and matching white sneakers.
She was about to sit down on one of the empty tables when she noticed the white haired guy sitting four tables away from the table she was about to sit.
She could recognize that white hair anywhere because it’s only Zinedine’s and his family that has it, except the good-looking vampire that has a resemblance to Zinedine. If not that she dislikes vampires, Vlad was a good looking catch.
