‘Ohhhh well then let’s get on with our meeting shall we??’..I muttered with a fickle of disappointment in my voice and just then Mom and Grandma Montero walked in…
‘Granny!!! What are you??Oh my God it’s so nice to see you!!!’..I exclaimed standing up from the chair…
Mom has been friends with Suzanne Montero for years and she used to pay frequent visits to us even without her grandson…
‘Uhhh what’s going on??’..Gray asked and my eyes went downcast immediately…
Still can’t believe I sat behind this same man in high school for years and he still doesn’t even remember me…
‘Well this was a planned meeting Grayson and Claire’..Granny Montero replied and sat down on the sofa next to mom…
‘Planned meeting?? What for??’..Gray asked and she smiled…
‘Well Montero and Mc Clarkson are merging and—
‘A merger?? What are you talking about Grandma?!’..He cut in and she frowned…
‘Would you let me finish,both companies aren’t making their annual boost of massive revenue and it’s affecting us. So Jasmine and I have come up with an idea of a merger for both companies’..Granny explained and I gasped loudly…

‘Then who would be in control then??’..I couldn’t help but ask..
‘Of course the both of you would be,but there’s a also a twist to the merger’..She replied and Grayson got up…
‘Merger! Twist! And all of this an shove up my a*s!!!’..
‘Grayson!!’..
‘I don’t care about any of this grandma but I won’t stand and watch control be taken away from me by some woman who I don’t even know!!’..He yelled..
‘How can you not even know Claire?!! You went to high school together!!’..Mom replied…
‘Yeah I don’t remember her so please stay out of this!! This is all nonsense!!!’..He yelled and walked away angrily…
‘Pardon his manners Jasmine he can be temperamental’..Mom said to Granny Suzanne and i sighed deeply…
‘Anybody in his place would do the same thing but a merger has to be solid to bond’..i muttered..
‘Yes you’re right,that’s why I said there was a twist’..Granny replied..
‘Oh really?? And what might that be?’..I asked..
‘That you be a wife for Mr popular’..
‘What?!!’..
‘Yes Claire,I want you to marry my son’…She repeated and i couldn’t help but scoff…
