Gray’s POV
‘Ta-ta-ta’..I tapped my feet lightly into the office and I noticed some pitiful glares from some of my staffs while the others were just busy looking at their phones…
‘What is going on and why is everyone not at their work stations??’..I asked with a frown on my face..
‘Sir…sir your wife..Claire she was..
‘What happened to my wife??’..I asked..
‘She’s been shot sir’..He said and I flinched..
‘What?!!’..I yelled and instantly ran towards my car and sped away before anyone could say anything..
?:hello Martin i need your help!!’..I yelled through the phone while the other hand on the wheel..
?:you heard about the news right?? How is she??’..He asked..
?:that’s what I’m calling your for Martin I’m pretty two hours drive away from home and you seem to be closer so I need you with her now please I don’t want to loose her Martin!’..I replied..
?:ohhh okay I’m heading out now’..
?:thank you’..I said and hung up..
First she said she was receiving death threats but I didn’t know it would go this far as getting shot?!!..
I made a promise to my wife that I would keep her safe and now she’s been shot..
Oh God please Claire just hold on I’m coming…

‘Where is she?! Where is my wife where is she?!!’..I yelled at the nurses as I barged into the hallway..
‘Excuse me sir who are you looking for??’..The nurse asked..
‘My wife!! Claire Montero she was admitted here two hours ago!!’..I replied and thankfully Martin walked over..
‘Where is she?? Where is she Martin??’..I asked panting heavily..
‘Well she’s fine,the bullet only pierced through her shoulder and it really isn’t that serious and—
‘Are you out of your mind?! It really isn’t that serious are you kidding me?!!’…I yelled and he smiled..
‘She’s in ward 33′..
I rushed over with every speed left in my body into the ward and Claire was already getting bandaged by the doctor..
‘Hey’..She said weakly..
‘Hey’..I replied and the doctor made a sign for me to see him in the office…
‘Claire I’m really sorry and I’m going to make it up to you I swear’..I said to her and she smiled..
‘Its not your fault’..
‘Yeah it is I’ll be back soon I’ve got to go see the doctor’..I replied and left a kss on her forehead…
Over to the doctors office,I sat down on the chair and he handed a report over to me..
‘Well while running tests on your wife we discovered something’..He said..
‘Discovered what??’..I asked..
‘Why don’t you open the results and see for yourself’..
