Yvonne’s POV
I woke up the next and tried to touch the man beside me but I found a cold empty space.
Seems he left so early. Maybe he is busy at work.” I smiled when I remembered what we did all night. I stood up and my legs gave in making me fall back to the bed.
My body was sour and hurting so bad that I groaned in pain.
I will not forgive you Henry. How do you expect me to go to the set today?” I was still thinking of what to do when my phone rang and I walked to the shelf in pain, took my phone and picked the call up.
Hello Yvonne.” The director said through the phone sounding happy.
Good morning director. I just wanted to call you now to inform you that I might be late today.”
No need for that, actually our biggest investor of this project told us to take the day off and there is a party tonight.”
Party?” I asked in surprised.
Yes, Just to boost the movie and there will be a lot of reporters tonight. Be prepared.” He said and hung up.
Wow, God sure works in a miraculous way, but who was the investor…? OMG” I opened my eyes in shocked as my mind can only think of one person and that is my husband.
You are still considerate after all.” I said and stood up slowly trying to learn how to walk to avoid the pains.
The door opened and Aunty Abby walked in with a tray which has a ointment and a wool.
Good morning Yvonne.” She greeted bowing respectfully.
Good morning Aunty Abby, how was your night?” I asked smiling and trying hard to endure the pains I was feeling at the moment.
Fine, no need for me to ask you about your night cos I can already guess what it looks like.” She said and smiled sheepishly using her jaw to point to my neck and I quickly went to look at the mirror. Lo and behold, there were a lot of hickeys on my neck.
Omg, this is so embarrassing” I thought as I shut my eyes in embarrassment waiting for the ground to open so I can hide in.
Master asked me to prepare this for you so you don’t feel any pains before the party. You just have to apply it on your private spot.” She said teasingly, placed it on the small table beside the bed and walked out closing the door behind her.
I will kill you so much Henry.” I shouted with gritted teeth, jumped on the bed and punched the pillow.
Ouch.” I cried out in pain.

Henry’s POV
If not for the duty calls, I would have devour her when she wakes up again.
I am so addicted to her that I find it hard to leave her alone, she has hypnotised me with her charm and I do not pray to be free from it.
I smiled as I remembered what I did a night before. Yes I intentionally gave her a lot of hickeys so that others will know she is taken. Isn’t that idea great??
I heard a knock on the door and Frank walked in with a broad, tall guy behind him, he stopped in front of my table and nodded.
This is the leader for the group 1.” He said as he made way for his boss to access the man.
Are you sure they are the best team so far?”
Yes master.”
Okay, let him excuse us for now.” I said and he gestured at the man and he walked out.
Take another guard with him and let them be her bodyguard while you prepare another ten, let them guard her in secret.”
Okay sir. Tony’s requested to have a meeting with you sir.”
Tony? Isn’t that Yvonne ex?”
Yes sir, he want us to invest in his new project.”
Tell him I am not chanced.” I replied coldly as I allow jealousy took over me.
The thought of Yvonne meeting the a**hole before me makes me angry.
Okay sir.” Frank said, bowed and walked out. My phone rang and I picked it up.
Hello Old man” I said smiling and the man at the other end scolded me not to call him that again.
You can only call me that if you give me a great grand child. ”
Okay Grandpa, I will be bringing someone to the mansion this weekend.”
Someone? Is she your wife?” He asked trying to tease me.
Grandpa.. Just make sure to prepare a big and special red packet… I will be going now. Take care” I said and hung up
Back To Present.
It had been afternoon already and Yvonne was still thinking of what to wear.
It s few hours to the party and I do not even have any clothes to wear? Oh God.. Yvonne why is your life like this.” She was still stomping her feet on the floor making a childish face when Aunty Abby walked in again.
Some people are waiting for you in the living room missus” She said respectfully and she replied with “mmm” following her to tthe living room.
She was flabbergasted when she got to the living room.

The famous and great designer. “Designer X ” who always design a cloth in 6 months and also choose those he will sell it for was standing in front of her.
De… De.. Designer X?” She blurted out in surprised.
He turned to her direction and looked at Aunty Abby like someone who is looking for an answer.
Yes, make sure you make her look appealing and outstanding today.” Aunty Abby said and walked back to the kitchen living only Designer X and his workers.
Okay, Bring the gowns shelf in” he ordered professionally while throwing Yvonne a glance every time and within a minute the living room is filled with a different shelfs with different items on them.
Can you choose a gown madam?”
Can you please don’t call me Madam? it is so tiring and boring. ” She said while staring at the wardrobe full of expensive and beautiful gowns.
Designer X looked at Yvonne again and was surprised with her attitude. Most girls in her shoes will definitely behave like a God but her she is behaving humble even though she was married to the Almighty Henry secretly.
Yvonne gained Designer X respect more unknowingly.
She pointed at a gown in the wardrobe and one if the workers brought the Gold, Knee-length,gown with all colours of small diamonds placed below the gown in a circular shape and on its V neck making the gown stand out. Simple but classy”
Turn. ” He ordered professionally, and Yvonne turned nervously.
Designer X brought out a jotter and jotted something handing it over to his assistant.
Let them fixed your nails and hair while we prepare the cloth you chose”
Okay.” Yvonne said absentmindedly because she was thinking about Henry.
He has prepared all this for her but haven’t called her since morning and that is making her worry.
Didn’t I perform to his expectations and that made him angry?” A lot of bad thoughts were forming in her mind but no questions for them.

On the other side of the country. Tony was sitting comfortably on his seat but was confused and angry at the same time.
He said he doesn’t want to meet me?” He asked his assistant who is standing in front of him.
Yes sir, his assistant told me to try another time sir” the assistant shivered as she explained.
Just make sure I meet him, you know he is the only one who has the money to invest in this project.” He was still talking when his phone rang and he picked it up only to hear the voice of his girlfriend who was crying.
What happened Babe?” He asked in a concern and gentle voice. The assistant sneered in her mind.
This girl is a clingy girl.”
Okay, I am coming now.” Tony said, hung up, took his jacket and rushed out of the office after instructing the assistant in what to do.
He got to the store she was waiting in a jiffy and saw her sitting in a corner with red eyes.
What happened Loveth?” He asked as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
Yvonne sent someone to steal my purse and beat me up.” She said sniffing as tears rolled down.
Yvonne?? Are you sure Yvonne can do all this? ” he asked doubting her words.
I am very sure, remember she already threatened me and I am very sure this is one of his tricks, she knows I will go out to get my dress for today’s party and she decided to steal my money so I won’t be able to get any dress which will lead to my absence” she explained like a genius who is trying to solve a word problem and that cleared Tony’s doubt.
Forget about that, I will get you another card. But till then, let go shopping, I also need a suit for tonight’s party since I am one of the investor.” He wiped her tears and helped her off and they went shopping..
So what is going to happen at the party now.
All the investors are coming with their partners including Daniel, Tony, Ashley, Loveth and Yvonne…
