Yvonne woke up and yawned as she looked at the time.
It already evening.” She said as she looked at the empty space beside her, she didn’t find her husband but a box and a note on it.
You look beautiful on everything dear, I will be there in an hour. Make sure to be ready by then.” She smiled as she read inwardly. She got up from the bed and went into the bathroom, she came out after 15 minutes and opened the box only to meet a yellow sunflower gown, It has a V neck making her breast which has become more bigger cos of the pregnancy fit well.
My husband sure has an eye for fashion.” She chuckled at the thought as she wore her dress and match it up with a black heel and a black gown.
After some minutes, she heard a car horn and she ran outside thinking it was her husband, she got downstairs and met Frank and Eva standing beside the car.
Good evening Missus.” They bowed respectfully.
Where is Henry?” She asked looking everywhere.
He is waiting for you, please enter the car.” The opened the car door and pointed to the back seat, she nodded and entered. Eva and Frank also entered the front seat and Frank started the car and drove off.
Aren’t we there yet?” Yvonne asked looking restless as they kept driving out of the town. Not that she doesn’t trust Frank but she is scared cos she doesn’t know what has happened to Henry and what he was doing in a place so far as this.
We are there Missus.” Frank said, stepped out of the car and opened the door for Yvonne. She stepped out and looked around, that place was so dark, it was only the moon that was giving it a little light. Her heart skipped a bit thinking of why her husband can be here.
Is he injured?” Yvonne asked worriedly.
No ma, he is waiting for you over there, you have to go alone now. ” he said respectfully, Yvonne heaved heavily and started walking down the path.
Yvonne’s POV
I kept walking down the path Frank pointed as my heart beat faster than usual, I could even hear my own heartbeat as I walk. I kept praying and hoping my husband is in a good condition
After walking for five minutes, I got to a large field and I looked around a bit scared because the field was very dark.
Can I really trust Frank and Eva? OMG.” I said as I remembered I never called Henry to asked if he was the one who sent the dress.
I rummaged my bag trying to look for my phone and that was when I remembered I dropped it in the car.
I held my stomach as fears gripped my heart, my baby’s safety comes first.
Henry, Henry. ” I shouted in a scared voice. I tried to turned back and suddenly, the field lit up. Small bulbs of different colours were arranged to make a way like a passage. Roses were scattered on the floor and it looked beautiful.
Booooom!!!” The sky lit up and “Will You Marry Me?” inscription showed in the sky. A hot tears fell from my eyes as I stared at the beautiful sky.
You haven’t said yes.” A voice said from behind and I turned, Henry was kneeling with a leg up, A beautiful ring was on his hand as he smiled se ductively.
I was speechless, hot tears streamed down.
You are a ba$tard for making this day so memorable.” I said and rushed towards him.
No, wait Wiffy, you haven’t answered me question.” He said looking at me lovingly and I became shy at his gaze.
Are you a fool? Will you accept No?” I asked as I stood in front of him and he shook his head.
Then you already know it a yes.” I said and stretched my hand, he slipped the ring on my finger and my face lit up.
He stood up and pressed his lips against mine. We kssed roughly and the slowly and then passionately. We broke the kss after losing our breath.
He embraced me and looked straight into my eyes. “I LOVE YOU WIFFY.”
Thanks for making me the happiest woman in the world.” I looked at him with a love filled eyes.
I miss you babe.” He said all of a sudden with his eyes filled with lust, I gulped hard at his gaze after realising the meaning of his words. I tried to break free from his embraced but he suddenly held me tighter like he already know what I was trying to do.
I promised to be gentle babe, I won’t hurt the baby.” He said and lifted my face up, he pressed his lips against mine and kssed me differently this time around, it was so soft and passionately that I couldn’t understand the weird feeling I was feeling again. I responded with same energy, he carried me while still kissing me and took me inside the passage, that was when I found out the passage actually led to a glass house. The house is a one bedroom house but spacious.
He placed me on the be d softly, and kssed me on the forehead before he started pulling his clothes while looking at me, I felt shy and tried to turned to the other side of the bed.
No babe, I want you to look at me. Don’t be shy, this is all yours.” He said in a hoarse voice as he held my face turning it to his side.
