Maxwell kept standing, wanting to watch her till she goes out of sight, but she suddenly turned back and ran back to hug him, pushing his body to the car.
“Gem…” He smiled, tightening it.
“Don’t even look at other ladies while driving, close your eyes when you see one” she muttered, and he laughed.
“Ok baby, you should go to bed now”
She broke the hug, and this time, she watched him drive away before going in.
“Mummy!!!” Francesca screamed immediately, making her eyes widen when she jumped into her arms.
“Baby!”
“I saw the Livestream, it’s so cute! Mummy you kssed him! Are you both official now? Can I call him daddy? Huh? Tell me you both are dating already, just tell me it’s…
“Yeah, Max is mine” Jemima cut her off, and she hugged her immediately.
“I love you so much mummy! Can’t wait to call him dad tommorow! I should have met him before he left earlier” she gushed.
“Wait… You saw what happened outside?” Jemima asked, breaking the hug.
“Of course! You ran back to hug him cos you obviously missed him already!” Francesca replied.
“Congratulations miss” Dolores came downstairs, and she smiled.
“Thanks Dolores, now you need to go to bed Cesca,it’s getting late”
“Alright mummy” she kissed Jemima’s cheeks and rushed upstairs with Dolores.

MILLAS’ APARTMENT**
Maxwell’s car stopped in front of it, and he came out looking happy.
He radiantly entered the house, and Warren met him by the door with his phone screen, showing the Livestream.
“What?” Maxwell smiled.
“I’ve always known you’re a bad boy! Look at the kss! It gave me goosebumps just looking at it on screen!
You kssed this lady like mad! Mell you’re a bad boy! Now should we expect a wedding invite anytime from now? Huh? Mell!!!” He shouted.
“Can you just allow me to breathe?” Maxwell replied, and granny Suzy came to view, she’s knitting in the living room.
“Granny” he smiled, walking to her.
“Now I’m not baby anymore, you got another baby anyways” she replied without looking at him.
“Hasn’t it always been your dream that I get a girlfriend?” He replied, stroking her hair.
“I don’t like her” she replied, and he sighed.
“Granny I promise you she’s the best daughter-in-law ever, Jemima is the nicest lady out there, believe me” he replied.
“Same lady who caused your accident back then” she said.
“Granny that’s in the past” he replied, and she stood.
“I’m going to bed”
“Not yet” he said and entered his room.
He came out with a big gift box, and he opened it in front of her.
It contains a multicolored floral dress which he got in the afternoon, then expensive shoes and a small makeup box.
“All these? These are from expensive brands… treasure…
“I got my pay from Louis, and I thought of buying you a gift” he said, and she brought out the dress.
“It’s so beautiful, gosh I’ve always wanted to wear pretty dresses” she said and got the shoes too.
“I love it, so much” she sniffed at the point of tears.
Maxwell got the kit and opened it to bring out the lipstick.
He painted her lips with the nude color, and he smiled.
“So gorgeous, make sure you use this always, remain a damsel forever, granny” he said, and she finally let out her tears.
“Granny!”
“I’m just so happy, I never thought this day would come, I got expensive gifts from my grandson!” She cried.
“More is still coming granny, I’ve only just started” he replied, wiping her tears before hugging her tightly.
“Yunno I love you so much, right treasure? I love you a lot Maxwell, please don’t get hurt, don’t” Granny cried again, and Maxwell smiled as he stroked her hair again.
“I’ll be careful, trust me granny”
