The kind of scolding i received through out the ride is more than annoying.
It was like i burned down the whole school, once Mrs Cecelia is through with her’s, principal equin will add his, all the students were Mumuring.
If look can kill I’m sure i did be buried already, those that couldn’t say anything were glaring hard at me.
This is far more hard than i thought, but seriously, i just leave the match for britney coz i knew their principal is harsher than ours, he won’t go easy on here moreover i don’t want her hating me the more.
She’s such a girl that get angry easily, it’s gonna be a fiercer battle.
The bus parked inside the school and the principal asked me to follow him.

The school was booming with excitement, everyone can be seen seating in pairs talking about the match, the principal already have it hot with me, he’s such an egoistic man, even though we won he still expect us both to win.
No classes again today so everyone is doing as the like, except britney she’s sitted all alone with her hand hovering round the gold medal in her neck suddenly she removed it and dipped it inside her pocket.
I tend to walk closer but stopped abruptly when she dismissed brielle angrily, is she that worried?
No! I should try my luck, i trailed my steps slowly and she looked up when she sight me and sighed deeply, xande……shhhh! I placed my hand on her lip cutting her off, don’t tryna send me away, o… Kay! I said and she looked down defeatedly.
I sat beside her and held her by her waist luckily she doesn’t resist, i made her rest her head on my shoulder.
Why are you so moody? I asked after some seconds and she looked at me for a while.
I don’t deserve the medal alex! It’s not mine, it belongs to my sister! She said and sat upright but my hand still on her waist.
What are you saying? I arched my brow.
Carolina is sister! She said and mouthed an “o”, I’m just thinking about it right now, they are both spears.
Xander, Carolina is more better than me in swimming, it’s her dream to be a swimmer, she spent most of her days in the pool since we are both loggerheads, but she slowed down for me i can bet it with anything, she explained further.
She would receive the greatest scolding of her life today but I’m wondering why she did it, we aren’t friends at all, why?? Why?? She shouldn’t have, she added and i chuckled.
Britney, you should know the value of having a siblings, they are the greatest treasure ever, they can sacrifice anything if you are lucky of a good one, like yours coz she sacrificed her glory for your friendship, since you said you are both enemies, right! I said and she nodded, yeah_she don’t wanna fuel the hatred.
Coz she belief if she took the win and you loose, you’re gonna hate her more and it’s true, try to be more friendly with her, they do say “you don’t know the value of something until you loose it” Don’t lose her she’s a gem okay, you can just appreciate her and be friendly towards her, i think she need it, britney please do so, i said and i noticed there are tears in her lid and it rolled down immediately.
Alex, I’ve been bad towards Caro, i do call her ugly everytime she felt like an outsider, when we are talking in the dinning table she don’t mingle with us, she will keep mute and after finishing her food she go back upstairs, i made her feel less of herself, am i wicked? She said in tears and i hugged her, stop saying that! You can make amend okay.
Alexander! I made her unhappy all the time, even with this she sacrificed her honour for me, I’m really sorry, she sobbed against my chest and i patted her back.
It’s okay! I cooed but she sobbed louder, muttering “I’m sorry”.

I entered my room and flung my string bag carelessly, i am highly exhausted.
Oh geez! It was such a long day, principal equin have it hot with me, he was really angry, seriously angry!
Coz, he just talked anyhow to me!
You are such a disgrace, we all believe in you Carolina, we really believe in you and you failed us, isn’t that failure? If our school win the gold cup,it’s such a great honor,the race was live on all television stations,if the sport committees saw it, they might come for you because of your talent,you failed us you failed yourself!! His words replayed on my head.
When i will make them mater worst, i said_sir! But the Hamilton high principal said it’s not for dominant, will you just shut up! What did you expect him to say, ohh! He should have said anyone that won is the king and more skillful than the other school, right! You are so dumb and that’s why you loosed the match.
When Johnny first won, i can see his expression changed, Santiago hated defeats, we are long time friends, now out of my office and i banned you from any competition with outside schools, he rounded his speech and i angrily left his office.
The door creaked opened jolting outta my reverie, britney! I whispered and sat upright.
