LIAM’S APARTMENT **
HOSPITAL
Rosa slowly opened up her eyes feeling conscious again.
She had been waking up and drifting off in the next seconds. But this time, she was awake for a long time.
She knew she was in a different place other than her bed at home.
Anytime she tried to move, she would wince in excruciating pain in her head.
” Rosa..” A voice said weakly and She looked up quickly surprised to find Mr Kim here with her.
She sat up, kneeling her arms on the bed.
“How did I get here. Why am in so much pains?” She asked, looking at him confused.
” You had an accident. I think you need to relax. Okay?” Mr Kim said and Rosa rested back her head, screwing tears from her eyes.
” I can’t believe all this is happening to me again.” She said
” Why did you run away?. Were you scared of me or something?” He asked and she looked at him.
” Scared that you might do the same thing to me again!” She said and poured her lips, trying hard not to sob.
” What do you mean, Rosa?” He asked calmly.
” So we finally met again after twenty two years. I finally met my husband who left me and the kids.” She smiled, her heart clenching in so much pain.
He sat on her bed and held her palm protectively.
” Don’t say I left you. Your behaviour towards my life made me leave you. You made me feel worthless.” He said and she looked away from his face.
” Good thing you are married now. I don’t have anything to do with you anymore. And the kids__”
” Where are the kids?” He quickly asked.
” Oh. You suddenly remembered them now after Twenty two years of making us feel invisible.” She said and started to tear up again.
” I left them in an orphanage when they clocked a year old, since I couldn’t take care of them anymore.” She said and his eyes went wide.
” Why!. How could you!” Mr Kim yelled, standing to his feet.
” Did you expect a poor single mother like me train two girls at a time?” She asked and Mr Kim shut his eyes.
” I feel so disappointed in you!”
” I’m more disappointed in you, Kim. Your kids, wherever they are now will hate you till their last breath.”
” What about your carelessness. Why would you go drop them at an orphanage of all places!” Kim yelled.
” I don’t have the might to shout. Just get this drips off my skin, I want to leave here immediately.” She said.
” You are not going anywhere!” He said and Rosa struggled with the drips on her skin.
Mr Kim quickly came to stop her in her siIIy movements.
” What’s wrong with your head?”
” I said I want to go. Call the doctor and tell him!” She yelled.
The door opened and the four kids along with Cassandra tripped into the room.
They sighted Mr Kim trying to pull a patient hands from the drip and they were left surprised.
” I heard about that accident.” Liam said being the first to step towards the scene.
” Is she okay, now?” Cassandra asked and Mr Kim fell on the sofa tiredly.
” There’s something you all need to know about Rosa” He said.
” Rosa?” Mitchell muttered and ran to her bedside.
” Rosa. So it’s you. Oh my goodness!!.” Mitchell said as she clenched her fist in pain.
” Wait. How did you know her?” Mr Kim asked.
” I met her in the restaurant a week ago and I have been helping her” Mitchell said, creasing her brows.
Mr Kim sighed, curling his lip into his mouth. He was finding it hard to explain the fact that Rosa was his ex wife, especially with the fact that Cassandra was here with them.
May sat on the bed sadly and stared at the patient face.
” Don’t worry ma’am. You’ll be fine.” She said and Rosa raised her hand to touch her face.
She opened up her hair and started searching around for something and Liam was left insecure.
When her eyes widened, she looked at May again.
” You are May?” She asked and May mouth flung open in disbelief.
” How did you know that?” She asked and Everyone quickly gathered around to witness the scene going on.
At first, they all thought she was a magician who could detect a person identity.
Rosa looked at Kim and Mr Kim widened his eyes in disbelief.
” It’s them. I knew it” Rosa said and tears whelmed up in her eyes.
” No. No it can’t be!.” He said, shaking his heads.
” What can’t be?” Emperor asked, finally stepping closer.
” This should be a mistake, Rosa. It can’t.” Mr kim kept yelling and Rosa palmed her face, bursting into tears.
” What’s happening?” Liam asked.
” May and Mitchell…” He said, staring at both of them
” A…are you really the lost twin?. Our lost twin?” Mr Kim said and Mitchell snapped her eyes towards May.
” Your lost twin?” Emperor asked and looked over to Liam who was as confused as him.
If Mr Kim was their father and they were also his children, does this mean that they are loving their fellow siblings?
Liam sighed and palmed his face in total frustration and Emperor fell on one of the sofa, throwing his head backwards.
” Why is Everyone silent!. I hope its not what I’m thinking. I hope you don’t have kids outside our marriage or your Rosa is done with!” Cassandra yelled, fuming up.
