The car pulled out at the garage as the guards rushed and opened the door for both I and kelvin
I entered the sitting room feeling so tired and met mum and Esther watching television
“Hey mum!” I says and pecked her cheeks same goes to Esther
“Welcome brother” she smiles
While kelvin talks about his day at school , I climbed up the stairs to my room
I pulled out my clothes and went for towel then walked into the bathroom and took my bath
I went to my closet and put on a blue skin top and a white trouser , I then combed my hair before falling on the bed
I can’t wait for this semester to finish and I will be done with all this schooling shts
I brought out my laptop, book and hand pen as I tired to work on the new song I and kelvin will be hosting soon
The song was title “Play my heart” a song composed by a single me
I sighed and opened my laptop as many Instagram messages fill my screen
Umph! This is what I see everytime
I shut down the laptop and put a call across my manager, our manger actually
“Good day sir” he greets
“Uhm Samuel is there still any pending concert?
“Uhm yes sir, I was even about calling….it’s up to sixty or more but there is this huge one with huge demand, about $20 for a start” he says and i sighed
“Inform kelvin about it, he decides” I said ending the call
The door bell rang And I stared at the CCTV camera, Esther
i used the remote to open the door as she walked in carrying a tray of food
“Hello brother! I decided to serve you myself today” She smiles
“Wow! So tell me,what is it you want me to do for you? I asked and she frowned dropping the food on the table
“Well must you say that whenever I want to treat you good!” She frowns and I smiled
“Just say what you want kiddo”

I parked the car in the garage and pick my bag then rushed happily inside the house
Shutting the door immediately
“Hey mum!! Am home” I yelled happily but I didn’t hear her reply
“Mum! I call dropping my bag
“Mum is sleeping” Samar says climbing down the stairs
“That’s weird, mum doesn’t sleep at noon” I mummured
“Samar did you ask her if she’s feeling okay at all” I whispered
“Yes,and you know her usual answer” he says and walked to turn on the television
I sighed and climbed up the stairs then to mum’s room to meet her laying down
“Mum are you okay? I asked her touching her forehead ,she opened her eyes
“Am okay Ami, just needed some rest” she says sitting up
“Are you sure?” I asked and she nodded

It was evening and we all sit round the table having our dinner
As always, Samar plays with his food and at times mum have to hit him
As we eat in silence, mum broke the silence
“I will be away from home” she says slowly
“What!!? I and Samar says together
“What do you mean mum” Samar asks
“I will be traveling out of town soon” she reply dropping her spoon
“Can I come with you mum!” Samar pouts
“No” she reply and Samar stood up walking out of the dinning
Silence took over between us, mum and I
“Amily you have to understand, this is for us…for you and for Samar”
“How long are you staying?”
“Two months or more” she says
“What!! Are you kidding me now mum? Two months, you’re not even sure if it’s two months” I yelled
“Listen Ami….”
“There is nothing there to understand mum! How to you expect us to cope without you around? This is the same way dad left!” I cried
“Amily listen….”
“There is nothing to understand” I yell and rushed upstairs to my room in tears
