Ruby on the other hand after hearing the news that day rushed back to the Liu’s mansion in anger and didn’t bother to see Sean again
“Am sure you have seen the news about Sean? Grandma Xi asked Ruby as they all sat in the living room
” Yes Grandma” Ruby replied
” What do you plan on doing now,you can’t possibly still be married to a penniless man” Grandma Xi said in concern
“What else? She has to divorce him” Zoey chirped in
“Your mother is right Ruby, you are still young and beautiful,it won’t be long for you to find another rich man to marry” Grandma Xi said convincing Ruby
Not like she loves Sean, she only took him from Chanty because of his money and connections.
She knew that with his help she will become a top actress in Country Z but since things are not going the way she wants it,it is better to let go
Ok Grandma, I’ll divorce Sean” Ruby agreed
“Good girl” Grandma Xi patted Ruby’s hair
“When are you going to give the divorce papers to him? Zoey asked
“Tommorow, I’ll have someone give it to him since he is still at the hospital” Ruby replied
” You should do that, and also start packing, your grandma and I together with you are leaving for California to stay with your aunt
” Why? I thought the bank gave us an extra week more”Ruby replied in surprise
Yes Christen allowed them an extra week to find another place to live
“Ruby am leaving Joshua” Zoey dropped the news
” What??? Ruby almost scream out but she managed to hold herself back
“Why mom? She asked with a frown
” Same reason you are leaving Sean,I can’t be with a jobless man” Zoey replied heartlessly
” But that is not too nice” Ruby said feeling somehow,
“Why are you concerned about him? It’s not like he is your real father,we both know am with him because of his money and also for recognition”
Ruby was about to reprimand Zoey but Grandma Xi intervene
“Ruby just do as your mother told you,we are doing everything for your future, staying with jobless man like Joshua is a taint to our reputation”Grandma Xi said
” Ok mom, do anything you want” Ruby finally agreed and Zoey smile
