NEXT DAY
CHANTY’S APARTMENT**
In the big living room, Chanty sat with her arms folded as stared keenly at Christen who was sitting in front of her nervously with little Treasure beside him
“Mr Shen what did you want to tell me that you are here? Chanty asked
Today is the day Christen planned on revealing everything to Chanty and he was very nervous
” Ms Chanty, it’s about Lui Chen’s biological father”
” Ok, do you know anything about who Lui Chen’s father is? Chanty was surprisingly calm
“He is not my friend! Because Lui Chen’s father is none other than me,I was the man from six years ago” he replied hurriedly and waited for an outburst but to his surprise,it was soft chuckles he got in reply
“Oh baby! Why did you have to put your father in a difficult position, you should have told him I knew about it already”see how nervous the most powerful CEO in Country Z looks” Chanty chuckled mockingly
Christen look up from his laps immediately
“You knew? He asked in surprise and Chanty nodded
“Sorry Dad, I can never keep secrets from my Chanty” so I told her in advance before you can” little Treasure replied instead leaving Christen speechless
Seeing how quiet Christen had became, Chanty decided to ease the atmosphere
“Mr Shen, Lui Chen has explained everything to me, and I want you to know that I don’t blame you,I believe everything happens for a reason, funny how I ended up getting transfer to your company when there are many other companies.
It’s not just a mere coincidence, fate is at work” Chanty said with a small laugh
Hearing Chanty’s words, Christen sighed in relief but he still decided to apologise
“Even if you don’t blame me,I must really apologize, that night cause a big change in your life” Christen said
“That is all in the past, after all I got my handsome baby in return” Chanty replied winking at little Treasure
” Awwn! You finally accept that am handsome” Lui Chen said acting like he was touched with Chanty’s words
” Of course you are handsome since you got the look from me” Chanty flaunted proudly and Chen snorted
“If I got the look from you, I’ll definitely look like a Barbie,my good looks comes from dad”
“Ouch! You just break your Chanty’s heart! Chanty holds her heart dramatically and they all laugh
After laughing for sometime, Chanty faced Christen
” Mr Shen”_
“Christen” Christen interrupted her
“Huh? She asked not getting what he meant
” Mom he meant you should call him by name, don’t be a slow grabber” Lui Chen replied rolling his eyes only for a pillow to be thrown on his head
” Ouch! Why did you h!t me with a pillow? He whined
“I h!t you because you deserve it” Chanty snorted
“So Christen” she called
Christen was pleased to hear his name from her lips,her voice sounds melodious to his ear
“I know you are behind the downfall of the Lin’s company and I also know you did everything for me thanks to the filter mouth beside me
Little Treasure pouted as he heard his mom calling him filter mouth
“I just want to say I appreciate your kindness, you really help me with my revenge even when i haven’t begin” she said with a smile
” It’s nothing Chanty,am glad I was able to help” he replied and they both smile at each other
“Less I forget dad,I have another secret to reveal” little Treasure said suddenly
” What’s secret? Christen asked
“I wasn’t the one who bought the Lin’s company shares,it was someone else who bought it on my name” little Treasure replied
” Who did then? Christen squinted his eyes
“It was me,am the one who bought the shares” Chanty sang more to Christen surprise
“It was you,I thought it was this brat” Christen said in surprise earning a scoff from Lui Chen
“Don’t be funny dad,where did you expect me to see 2 Billion yuan when I don’t have any job, though now,I can proudly say my networth is 2.5 Billions all thanks to you for paying double money for the shares” Little Treasure replied with a smug smile leaving his dad dumbfounded.
