CHAPTER 158

With tear filled eyes, Melanie watched the photos she took with Axel on their numerous dates.

They were at the beach and she was putting on a bikini, their arms were both around each other with Axel’s lips on her cheek.

“I miss you,” she whispered. She bent her head as her tears fell from her eyes.

“I miss you so much,” she continued crying.

Paisley and Lauren entered at that moment. They rushed to her when they saw her in tears.

“Annie!”

“Lanie!” The chorus at once.

Paisley immediately pulled the crying Melanie to her arms and began rocking her like a baby.

“It’ll be fine, don’t cry too much please,” she whispered.

“He left. I didn’t even see him off, I…”

“I miss him,” Melanie wailed loudly.

“Stop crying please, I might just join you two,” Lauren said.

Paisley continued rocking Melanie while Lauren patted her hair.

Soon, Melanie’s tears died down and Paisley cleaned her tears.

“Stop crying, hun. We’re here for you, okay?”

“Axel will come back, it’s just for the best please” Lauren said.

“It’s hard,” Melanie mumbled in tears.

Even though she perfectly knew everything was for the best, she still couldn’t bring herself to accept the fact that she won’t be able to see the love of her life for three years.

It’s a very hard thing to do but one thing she was sure of was that… No matter what, she’d wait for him, even if it takes ten years.

? THREE YEARS LATER ?

CANADA~MONTREAL CITY***

An exotic car stopped in front of a gigantic mansion. A loud piercing scream filled the air when a silhouette figure stepped out of the car.

?It’s him! It’s Axel!

? Oh my gosh! I love you, my role model!

? He’s so hot, I love you!

The other side of the car opened and a female figure came out of it, smiling brightly.

? It’s Tiana!

? I love you both!

? Blow me a kss please!

Tiana smiled and walked to Axel, she held his arm slightly and Axel glanced at her.

“Don’t tell me you’ve got fans waiting for you at your house,” she chuckled.

“I’m quite surprised too,” Axel smiled shortly.

He started walking into the house with Tiana beside him, walking elegantly like the classic lady she was.

Immediately they stepped their foot inside the house, Axel’s phone beeped and he wasted no time in bringing it in from his shirt pocket. It was a message from Aaron.

Eagerly, he quickly clicked on it and the photo that showed up brought an enchanting smile to his lips.

It was a picture of Melanie with an ice cream stain on her lips, she looked really cute with that.

Another message came up again.

? YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS LOOKING SO CUTE AND I COULDN’T RESIST SENDING A PICTURE. BY THE WAY, WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK? ?

Axel smiled after he was done reading the message. Heaven knows how much he badly missed the lady in that picture.

“Melanie, right?” Tiana asked beside him.

“Hmm,” Axel hummed.

“Gosh, I really hope to see her someday. You won’t stop talking about her and I’m really anxious to see her,” she said.

Axel chuckled.

“You really do seem to love her,” Tiana said again.

“Of course I do. I love her more than my life,” Axel smiled as he stared at the picture again.

“And, I can’t wait to return home just to see her,” he added, still staring at the photo.

“Mi amor,” he whispered, caressing the picture with a thumb.
