CHAPTER 75

Melanie’s eyes widened. His lips were moving on hers but that wasn’t her problem at the moment. His words….

Axel broke the kss and smiled down at her.

“I know this is wrong, I know I shouldn’t be feeling this way considering the fact that you’re my friend’s ex.

But, I can’t just help it, this is my first time feeling this way and I’m going crazy about it already.”

Melanie stared at him, her lips parted in shock. She wasn’t expecting that confession from him, not even for once.

“Your beauty trapped me, your innocence melted my heart beyond my control”

“I love you, your innocence. Your eyes, your cute figure, your voice. Every fking thing about you drive me insane, Mel” Axel continued saying.

Staring at his eyes alone, all she found was deep love and affection. His eyes had it all, the admiration in it melted her instantly.

“I’m not expecting you to say a word yet, but I’m ready to wait. Even if it takes ten years, I’ll wait for you Melanie and that’s because…. I LOVE YOU,” he pulled her to him and claimed her lips in the sweetest way ever.

A single tear escaped Melanie’s eyes and her hand went to his chest, holding his shirt tightly as his lips moved passionately against her own.

Melanie was leaning on the door, her hands knotting in a fist as it held his shirt tightly. His lips were moving on hers passionately and she could feel it deep in her soul.

Axel kept pulling her delicate body to his, his hands caressing her sxiness. His lips slowly left hers and got replaced on her neck.

Melanie took a sharp intake of breath as his lips sucked on the sensitive skin on her neck.

Her hand which was holding his neck, traveled to his neck and she held him tightly there.

“I love you, Mel” Axel’s hot breath fanned her neck as he kept placing a sensual kss on her neck.

“I love you so fking much,” he sucked on her neck deeply, aiming to give her a deep hickey.

Melanie bit her succulent lips and tried to resist the moan that threatened to escape from her tempting lips.

Slowly, his lips left her neck and he raised his head to stare at her.

He raised a thumb and wiped the little tear in her eyes, then he pulled her to him and placed a longing kss on her forehead.

His heart was beating fast against his chest and it was all for the lady in his arms right now.

“You don’t have to say anything, Mel. I perfectly understand your emotions right now,” he began gently.

“But, I won’t break you, I promise. Yea, I’m a playboy, I admit that.

But, that stopped the day I met you, I couldn’t bring myself to do it anymore,” his arms were around her, holding her to himself as though she’s running away anytime soon.

“Avoiding you was like a sui.cide attempt, don’t even do that to me again, I might die for real this time,” he finally concluded with a whisper.

Melanie stood still in his arms, she just didn’t know what to say at that moment.

Her roommate just confessed his love to her, and he was no other than her ex’s friend! It’s so shocking to her.

“We’re still friends, right?” She heard him asking.

Truly, being friends with him will be so awkward knowing how fully well that he’s in love with her. Yet, she found herself saying the word “yes”.

“Yes. We’re still friends,” she muttered.

Axel released the breath he was holding and a smile left his lips. The journey of winning her heart starts now.
