Chapter 7

“Nina! Don’t make me more angry. I might just do something ¢razy” Arabella threatened.

“Am sorry. Just let it go and you know that I love you. I love you and will always love you. Go to Gerald home or he will notice something is off. Bye bye for now” Nina said as she switched off the phone.

“You are a real dead meat once I get you Nina”Arabella said as she walk out of the elevator.

In a rush to get back to Gerald home before anyone notices her gone. She collided with someone.

“Am sorry”She said as she looked up to see Jenna.

“Like seriously? Do you have to ruin my day by showing me your face?”Jenna muttered as she pretended to brush off her body.

“And do you always have to ruin mine with your words ?” Arabella asked her only rival in the music industry.

“My day is already bad enough. Now I have to deal with you?”Jenna said still feeling angry by Arabella presence.

“And does your bad day have to do with me getting the Dalton deal?’ she asked knowing that Jenna must have been told about the deal by her gossipy manager.

“Just because you’ve been given the Dalton deal doesn’t mean you have won”Jenna said

“I have won! Afterall have been given a huge deal whereas you haven’t even been given one. If you like I can send some deal your way?”Arabella said knowing it would make her very mad.

“I don’t need your filthy crumbs. I don’t need anything from you and someday I will make you pay for every insult you’ve sent my way” Jenna said

“I will be waiting for that day Jenna”Arabella challenged too.

“You really are ……”

“Jenna “On hearing that voice they both turned to see Gerald walking towards them.

“Oh Gerald! “Jenna called as she went to him while Arabella quickly made her exit not wanting Gerald to talk to her but Gerald noticed her running off before his attention was claimed by Jenna.

Using a restaurant rest room. Arabella cleaned all of her make up and transformed herself back to the ugly Bella.

Taking a taxi she went back to the Dalton mansion.

She got in without any problem because the guards were not by the gate..

She was about entering the mansion when she ran into one of the maid.

“Bella. Where have you been? Mrs Milly have been looking for you”The maid said.

“I ….I went sight seeing. Sight seeing of the house”She added quickly.

“You should told someone then. We were quite worried. We were going to call the Boss to…..”

“You didn’t call him right?”Arabella asked quickly and the maid nodded.

“That’s good then. I will go to Mrs Milly now. “Arabella said as she went into the house heading to the kitchen where Mrs Milly would be.

“I went sight seeing of the house”She lied.

“You should go with someone. The house is very big and a newbie like you might get lost” Mrs Milly said.

“I will keep that in mind when I choose to go again. What do you want me to do?”She asked.

“Fiona is meant to be out for her summer lesson but she doesn’t want to go. This offen turns to a quarrel between Fiona and the boss.

Fiona doesn’t want to go for her summer lesson and The boss wants her to go.

If he should come back and she is still here. Things might get hot between them again “Mrs Milly explained.

“I will try to get her to leave for her lesson” Arabella said as she left the kitchen. Heading to Fiona room.

She knocked severally and when there was no reply. She opened the door with the spare given to her by Mrs Milly.

She saw Fiona lying on the bed playing with her phone. She walked in only to stop when she saw what was in her room.

“What are you looking at?” Fiona asked.

“Do you like her?”Arabella asked as she stared at her poster which was plastered on Fiona wall.

“Why do you care?”Fiona asked.

“It’s Because I like her too”Arabella replied as she felt a thrill of happiness knowing that her daughter likes her as the singer.

“You like Ara? I doubt that. Your just saying that to get to me”Fiona said

“It’s the truth. I really like Ara. Am a die hard fan of hers” Arabella replied knowing that she is talking about herself.

“I don’t believe you and you should leave. I never told you to come into my room”Fiona stated.

“But I should. Your running late for your lesson Fiona. It’s my job to make sure you…..”

“Stop lecturing me and leave!”Fiona yelled throwing a teddy at her.

“You don’t throw things on an adult” Arabella cautioned her.

“Really? Watch me then”Fiona yelled as she began to throw her all the teddy on her bed.

Arabella dodged all of it and moved towards her daughter before she could throw something else.

“Stop being a brat and get ready for your lessons” Arabella said.

“Really? If you want me to leave then do something for me” Fiona suggested .

“What do you want me to do?”Arabella asked.

“I lost one of my teddy in the garage. I want you to get it for me. If you can bring it to me then I will surely go to the summer lessons”Fiona said.

“If I get that teddy for you. Make sure you go”Arabella said and Fiona smiled before nodding.

Arabella left the room heading to the garage. There were almost five cars parked in the garage. Gerald sure lives a luxurious lifestyle. She thought as began her search.

Just then she heard a growl. A growl which kept coming from her back. She turned only to see a big black dog glaring at her.

Screaming out loud. She took to her heels while the dog chased her. She ran back to the mansion and was about to go in when the door opened and Gerald was standing there.

On seeing him. She jumped right into his arms while he held her by the waist to support her from falling down.

“Get that thing away from me!”She said as she held onto him tightly.
