ANDREA POV

I stood still watching a video of me talking to Max.

“Andrea Blake, the pretty girl of Jupiter high was dumped by Max Winston, according to what was over heard, it was that Max left her for Rose, who was once his girl friend”

Reading the head line got me feeling much worst.

This video was taken when we talking yesterday and from what Max said, he never told me about Rose until last night when I got to his house.

Though the video showed the both of us, our voices could not be heard and since it could not be heard, the person who took the video lied about what he or she heard.

I stared at Beatrice and Brenda, they looked some how pissed and I thought that it was with me but before I could explain Beatrice hugged me

“Oh you poor thing, it must have been hard for you”Beatrice said

“We should have been there for you but you keeping quiet never allowed us to do so, Max is an ass for doing this to you”Brenda muttered

“Just look at her, isn’t she shameless”

“I wouldn’t come to school if I were her ”

“I wouldn’t dare beg a guy for love”

“I pity her”

“Max is a guy, he has to go astray for a while, it’s her fault for leading him astray, she should have known that a guy like him will always be with the one who has a lot of money”

I stood still listening to what the other students were saying.

“Shut up you all, you don’t know a thing that is happening,so don’t say nonsense over there”Beatrice said

“Common,let’s take Andrea away from here”Brenda said and quickly they pulled me out of the crowd.

A while later, the three of us stood on the second floor balcony and I explained it all to them.

“Max is a jerk!” Beatrice said

“If he knew that he wasn’t going to fight with you, why did he put your hopes up?”Brenda muttered angrily

“You see I still don’t believe that be did on purpose, he still loves me, I can feel it, I can also bet that the thing with Rose is all a farce”I said

“It’s best that you let go of him Andrea, forget him now and stop your self from being more hurt” Brenda said

” I also think that way too,he isn’t worth your tears, he couldn’t even fight his dad just for you, he is a coward!”she said angrily

“But I still believe that he feels some thing for me, he is just trying to push me away”I said

“Why don’t we ask him that him self “Brenda said looking straight ahead.

I looked ahead to see Max coming towards us, the Expression he had on his face made it hard for me to read what is on his mind

“We are happy that you are Max,we will like to ask you some few questions?”Beatrice said as she obstructed his path

“Beatrice!”I called softly and Max stared at me and the look he gave me wanted to make me cringe

“Tell us why you broke it off with Andrea”Beatrice asked not answering me

“Do I also have to tell you too?”he asked starring at me

“Beatrice please stop”I said as I went to Beatrice,pulling her arm .

“No let go! I won’t sit back and let this pompous jerk do this to you”beatrice said pulling off

“Andrea loves you, why would you leave her for that heartless bch?”Beatrice asked totally pissed

“You and I both know that Rose will be the one I end up with, the rich ends up with the rich, that’s why we were born Rich, some thing I doubt she can relate to”He said

“Just a few days ago, you got mad at any one who referred to Andrea as poor and you even punched some one for saying some thing bad about her and now you are the one saying it, you are nothing but a j.erk!”Brenda said

“Stop wasting your time on me and tell your friend to leave me alone,it was fun while it last , I want to be with Rose again and so she should give up”he said and hearing him say those things made me more sad.

“You really are a je.rk!”Beatrice yelled out

“I wish I was a guy and then I will be able to hit you”Brenda muttered

“Stop making a fool of your self and just leave Max alone”Rose said behind us and I watched her walk towards us.

“Why are you doing this Andrea, Max already break it off with you, isn’t it time you move on too, don’t you feel ashamed chasing a guy who doesn’t love you”She asked

“No one asked you to butt in” Beatrice said

“And no asked you two to butt in too, instead of calling Max names, why don’t you speak some sense into your friend,tell her to get lost while she can”Rose said

“You are really asking for it?”Beatrice said wanting to slap Rose but Max held her off

“Don’t you dare touch her”He said as he pushed Beatrice away and right in front of me, he turned Rose towards me and kssed her.

The other student who were watching gasp out loud.

“See! There is no going back to you Andrea, have moved on with Rose and so just forget about me, stop being clingy and get lost from my life”He said and the tears which I had been holding in began to pour.

“You ba$tard!” Some one yelled and before we could stop him, he pun¢hed max on the face.

I stood shocked, starring at Jack who was flexing his hand from the punch he had given Max

“Are you this much of a s¢umbag?”Jack asked

Max sat on the floor touching his bl.oody mouth

“Yes, I am and now that am free of her, you can have her, you have always wanted her right? She is all yours now”He said and left the hall with Beatrice trailing after him.

Before I could do a thing, Jack pulled me out of the crowd, I didn’t stop him,I didn’t care about where he is taking me,all I just wanted to do is to find a place where I can be, with out any one seeing me.

He took me to the rooftop and he stood watching me

“You can cry it out Andrea ,I will only let you cry over je.rk for today “Jack said and i stared at him.

“Just cry it out, my shoulders are always here for you”he said and I walked into his arms to cry it out.

I got back home l dripping from the rain that fell earlier.

I stood down stairs starring at Max bed room, I just can’t believe that he will really break it off with me like this.

He never gave me a reasonable explanation and some how I still find my self believing him, i thought.

I noticed some one starring at me and I turned to see him standing there, all wet from the rain too.

He looked away and began to head in and quickly I ran to him and held his hand

“I will ask you for the last time, are you really going to break up with me like this ?” I asked and he je.rked off

“Yes, am breaking it off with you, I don’t want to see you again, I don’t love you any more and so leave Andrea, leave for the states”He said

“Fine then, if you are breaking it off with me am fine with that but I won’t be accepting your charity”I took off my bag and took out the ticket.

I then held his hand and put the envelope in it.

“I won’t be going to the states,give that to some one who really needs it”I said and turned to leave.

Knowing that I will cry and not wanting my mom to see it, I left the house instead and as soon as I got out I began to cry a lot, so this is good bye, I thought sadly.

A WEEK LATER

“Andrea! Andrea ! Andrea!”Jack said running into the music class, not caring if the teacher was there.

“You have to come with me”he said and before I could stop him,he pulled me by my hand and drew me out side.

“What’s going on”I asked as the both of us kept running to the entrance.

“Max is leaving for the states today, though you act like you don’t care, I know you still do and I don’t want you to regret a thing”He said and quickly we got onto his bike.

He drove like ¢razy and when we finally got to the air port, it was to find out that the plane heading for the states just took off.

I stood by a window watching the plane leave and I knew that Max is gone for good.

“He really left, he really did”I said clutching my chest

Jack pulled me out of the air port and instead of taking me back to school l,he took me to a hill top.

“Why are we here?”I asked

“I heard that if you wish for some thing right here,it will be granted”

“Say what your heart desires Andrea and am sure that it will grant your wish”He added

“Really? Will it really grant my wish?”I asked

“Yes it will but you must say the wish out loud,that’s the only way it will work”he said

“Don’t mind that am here,I won’t listen to it”he added.

I stood starring at the beautiful scene in front of me and finally knowing what my wish is,I yelled out
