Six months later**
Valerie thought of nothing else as she drove to school,…. Dwayne
She kept smiling as she thought of him and their memories together
She’s not going to highschool, she’s now a college student, studying medicine like she had always dreamt of
Driving a car is one of the few things she learnt in the past few months and it’s rather fun
She stared at her bracelet as she stopped the car at the parking lot and kissed her bracelet
“Dwayne, I wish you a blissful day wherever you are too… and I love you” she said brightly before getting off the car
” Valerie!” Minnie’s voice called from the end of the hallway
Ok Minnie is her new friend, she met her in college, Lillian got accepted in another college though they’re still the best of friends
“Minnie” Valerie smiled and rushed to her
“Always beautiful, I envy you” Minnie gushed, taking her hand
” She has started again” Valerie said
“Yes I’ve started again” Minnie replied and they both laughed as they walked to class..

Survivors hospitals**
“Mr Fido, you can’t stand up yet but you’re still trying to stand up, it’s dangerous” one of doctors said and returned him to his sleeping position
He has been in the hospital for the past six months and as a result of too much brooding, he’s now hypertensive
Linda never came back to him after getting released from jail, she travelled out after taking as much of his money as she wanted
“Just look for my son for me please, that’s the only way for me to survive, I need to see him and plead on my knees for all what I’ve done” Fido replied weakly
He has become thin and pale as a result of his condition
“Ok, your son will be found, but you have to rest very well Mr Macaulay, please” the doctor replied
” But I want to see him” he replied again
” Ok, ok, rest, just rest first huh” the doctor replied and injected sedative into his drip
He slept off immediately

Philip and Carolyn paced impatiently up and down the hospital hallway, waiting to hear the crying of a baby
Melanie is in with the midwives and doctors, giving birth already
Robin sat quietly on a chair beside them, hoping hard that his mum and baby sis will be fine
Zayn came in with Valerie after some minutes and they joined in the pacing and hoping till some minutes later when they started hearing the crying of a baby
“Yes!” Philip exclaimed
“I’m so glad, Susan I’m about to meet our grandchild” Zayn said, smiling happily
” My baby sister has arrived” Robin said, finally standing up as the doctor came out all smiles
“It’s a girl, a cute girl, and the mother is just fine too”
“OMG!!!” Valerie screamed
” I can’t ask for more” Carolyn said, smiling with lots of happiness
“Doctor please make the cleaning up fast , we need to see her as soon as possible” Philip said impatiently
” Of course, the midwives will soon be done cleaning her up” the doc replied and left them
They all took big gulps of happiness immediately, it’s too too much
Later**
“Damn, she’s so pretty!” Philip exclaimed immediately he sighted the baby in the cot beside Melanie
“I know right?” Melanie said slowly
*My grandchild” Carolyn and Zayn said at the same time
They looked at each other and smiled before returning their attention to the baby struggling cutely with her knotted hands in the cot
“My baby sister” Robin gushed, holding her hands delicately
Valerie can’t stop smiling
“I love you so much sweetheart” Philip said and kssed Melanie lightly on the lips
“I love you more darling” she replied and he kssed her nose too
“you won’t know how happy I am” he said
“Me too… finally we have a lovestory different from the book, our destiny might be full of trials,ups and downs but we overcame and became triumphant, let’s continue to stay with each other forever” she said
” Yes, always and forever” he replied radiantly and hugged her on the bed..

Two weeks later**
” Hey Valerie, ion get this anymore, you told me you wanna show me something, but we’ve been walking for hours” Sally said tiredly, climbing the hilly area with the remaining strength in her
“I’m sorry but it’s really a big surprise” Valerie replied
” If it’s not worth it, I’ll kill you” Sally joked and Valerie giggled
” And here we are” Valerie said when they got to a part
” So what’s up? ” Sally asked and Immediately, sweet smelling flowers poured down on her
She looked up and closed her eyes, inhaling the scent
It’s her favorite Jasmine flavor
Then lights came on everywhere and she started looking around surprisingly
“What’s happening?” She asked, still in surprise
*I wish you’ll give me a chance, in your golden heart*
*I wish you’ll say yes, and be with me forever*
*I wish we’ll explore the beautiful places together each and every day*
“So please, say yes… I love you*
It was Leo who’s actually singing, coming from the other end of the hill with a beautiful flower and a box
“OMG” Sally said slowly
He got to her and gave her the flowers before going down on one knee, she covered her mouth with one hand in surprise
“Sally, you’ve been the best thing that has ever happened to me since I met you, and I always try my best to keep the best things going.. that’s why I don’t want you to leave me Sally, stay with me and let’s spent time together forever…. Sally please marry me” Leo said, smiling as he opened the box ring
“OMG!!!” Sally screamed, smiling already
Carolyn and Philip with a lot of staffs from the company came out of nowhere and that added to her surprise
“Say yes” they started saying repeatedly and of course she would
“Yes,… Leo yes!” She gushed
Leo slipped the ring on her finger and stood
She was the one who pulled him into a deep kss and the flowers fell on them once again
“I can’t wait to eat the wedding cake” Philip said
“Sure, HNP you’re the best!” Carolyn said loudly
“Gosh!, This is so sweet” Valerie said but it only reminds her of Dwayne
She left the place before anyone and drove down the street in sadness, she’s unaware of when she started crying
She got to the bridge they stayed on while watching fireworks together the other time, she can’t help but cry more
She imagined him beside her and that brought more tears
She later drove to the road where he stopped a cab for her the other day after saving her from getting rapped…
Then the archery where he shot an arrow with her
The arrow is still stuck to the dartboard and she touched it and stayed still for over ten minutes before proceeding to Lighthouse high, she went to the garden and spent almost an hour there, crying
Then her last stop which is his house..
She tried the only thing that came to her head as the password
RETARDED
And the door opened
She entered and a look at the door, she can picture them kssing
Her eyes caught the couch and the only thing she can also picture is their kssing scene too
She went to the bedroom and slept on the bed, hugging the pillow and imagining it as him…

Four months later**
Baby Sara is growing cuter everyday, yeah… Sara is Robin’s cute sister name
That cute little girl with rosy cheeks
Philip has resumed work and Carolyn’s company has just been completed, she plans to start being an investor together with Zayn very soon
Zayn is an happy father and Philip won’t even let him work but maybe Philip will have no choice now that Carolyn’s company is completed
Valerie is currently in Singapore for her one year internship program in a popular hospital over there
Melanie’s school is ready for operation once Sara clocks one year
Sally and Leo got married just two months ago and still remain the cutest couple in town..
Newsflash…. Sally is currently carrying their baby
Fido is in the hospital, still struggling to live as a result of loneliness and maybe he doesn’t have much time to live anymore…
Philip’s album and music video with Justin Bieber will be out next month and millions of fans are waiting for it

Singapore**
It’s the snowy time of the year, Valerie drove back from the hospital where her internship program is going on with tiredness allover her body
The hospital is awesome and they’re obviously one of the best around cos the two months she has spent there is not a joke, she has learnt a lot
She got home and washed tiredness off her body in the bathroom
She put on something simple and made sure to wear an hoodie
She went downstairs to have a meal of bread and jam
Yeah, bread and jam and noodles has become her best food just like Dwayne
Maybe because it’ll always make her imagine him eating with her
She finished eating shortly and though she’s tired, she’ll still cruise the snowy hill
It’s a popular place for hangout in this part of the city..
She drove out of the house and as she cruised the street, she noticed people in red and white
“Oh… February 24, it’s Valentine’s day” she thought sadly
She inhaled hard
” Happy lovers everywhere, but lonely me”
She got to the snowy hill and stepped out of the car
It’s snowing already and it’s freezing cold but thanks to her thick hoodie
She climbed the no not so tall hill and it’s decorated tonight, maybe because it’s Valentine’s night
Lovers are hanging everywhere and everyone is happy except her
She walked round the place and watched every scene
A love song… “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran is playing in a speaker
She stood on her spot and decided not to go further
Yes, she’s feeling oppressed and jealous
She walked down the hill with tears in her eyes and got in her car
She drove home, crying throughout
She got home and is about to open her door when she noticed her wrist
The bracelet is gone!
She checked her second wrist to be sure but phew!, It’s not there
“My bracelet” she said slowly, searching the ground frantically but it’s nowhere to be found
“The hill” she said and entered her car again, she drove to the hill and rushed out of the car
She climbed up and started her search
“Excuse me , do you by any chance see a bracelet lying around?” She asked anyone she comes across and NO is the answer she kept getting
She let out her tears again and bent on her knees, crawling round the place just to look for it
“No I can’t lose it, I can’t lose it, never” she thought, searching the snowflakes with her hand as the snowflakes kept falling on her
She even caught a cold as a result of dipping her hand into the flakes but it doesn’t matter right now
“The bracelet matters” so she continued her frantic search
She suddenly saw someone standing in front of her, she continued looking at the two legs and his perfume brushed past her nose
Her eyes widened, though he’s not the only one using citrus in the whole world but maybe because she’s expectant
“Are you…. looking for this?” His voice asked
No of all millions of voices in the whole world, his voice is distinct
Her ears itched and her eyes widened as she slowly started looking up in her kneeling position
The lights almost blinded her at first but she blinked severally and his face eventually became clear
Slowly like a dream, her dream came true
It’s none other than him… Grumpy Bear who has a shocked look on his handsome face too
He hasn’t changed at all, he’s holding the bracelet she was looking for, and his own is still on his wrist
She kept kneeling there in shock, surprise, happiness and… just mention all sort of emotions
The snowflakes started falling in large quantities as if to remind them of something, and the breeze started blowing heavily
“RETARDED” Dwayne muttered
