EVENING…
The Emperor after walking for so long stopped right in front of an inn and Jade glanced at the inn before facing him.
The Journey had been a very quiet and hectic one since she was afraid he might just purnish her for making some villagers tag him a pervert.
She was curious as to why he didn’t just disappear and appear like he always does but she dared not ask him since she was still on eggshells with him, but then her mouth suddenly opened to speak.
“I guess you’re tired also. You want to book a room to rest right? Let’s just return back to the palace”.
Jade said smiling sheepishly but a glare from the Emperor returned her poker face, then he walked into the buzzing inn of noble men.
“What’s going on in his head?”. Jade mumbled tiredly before forcing herself into the inn and immediately frowned at the amount of gisengs(prostitutes) roaming round the place with rich officials and soldiers, drinking and playing games.
“Is he here to have fun?! And he brought me along to witness it?!”. Jade scoffed angrily as she searched around with her eyes for the Emperor then she finally saw him talking to the owner of the inn who seemed to be as old as her father.
She quickly walked to them so as not to be left behind but the frown on her face was still present glaring at every girl that walked past the Emperor after admiring him.
“I’m really sorry sir. But there’s no more room available we’ve been fully booked…
The inn owner was cut off when the Emperor threw him a purse filled with gold and his eyes widened opening the purse and confirming.
“Did i forget to say we have one room left! Come with me my treasures!”. The inn manager smiled widely as he led the way up the wooden stairs of the inn and the Emperor and Jade followed him upstairs they kept walking past many rooms were various sexual activities were going on and Jade couldn’t help but glare at the Emperor who still had a poker face.
Then finally the inn manager stopped right in front of a room looking more mordernized than the ones they walked past on their way then roughly with his firry powers the inn manger pushed open the door walking into the room to meet with a shirtless guy that was only on his white trousers and Jade seeing him instantly looked away.
“Father! What’s it again, I’m half naked!”. The guy snapped but his father who happened to be the inn manger walked to him picking up all his stuffs and throwing it outside.
“Go find something doing, your room has been booked!”. The inn manger said finally pushing his son out.
“What?! You booked my room?! I’ll surely tell mum! She’ll shut down this whole place with Lady Wang’s help trust me! They’re besties now!!”. The inn mangers son screamed when he was now out of the room.
“Go tell her I don’t care!!”. The inn manager snapped walking out of the room after packing out all of his son’s stuffs.
“Have a goodnight”. The inn manager winked at the Emperor before making to shut the door.
“What about my room? I can’t spend the night herebwith him?”. Jade asked.
“You can see i chased my own son out of here thats to tell you everywhere is booked”. The inn manager said.
“Your library still have kids books doesn’t it?”. The Emperor’s voice came he was already at the other end of the room taking off his mask as he stared at a landscape drawing on the wall.
“Yea! It does sir which one do you want?”. The inn manger said.
“Ten beginners books”. The Emperor’s voice came and Jade turned to stare at him in puzzlement but his back was facing them.
“Sure sir! On it! I’ll get you both clothes to change into also, i can see some stains on your fine silk”. The inn manager said before walking away and Jade watched him shut the door on his way out.
“Beginners book? For who?”. Jade asked and the Emperor turned to face her, seeing his eyes on her she instantly became mute.
“If you’re angry about what happened earlier I just want to say i didn’t know it would end up that way”. Jade mumbled and the Emperor frowned walking to her.
“Just want to say? So do you think you’re speaking to in that tone? Your dead lover?”. The Emperor sneered.
“Dead..lover? Ming and I were never lovers”. Jade replied and the Emperor rolled eyes at her.
Then a knock came on the door and Jade went to answer it. The inn manger walked in with ten books as instructed dropping them on a table right next to the window.
Then his servants dropped some robes on the same table also.
“Call us if you need any other thing”. The inn manager said before walking out and shutting the door once more.
“Why are we here? This isn’t the best place to study unless you just want to use it as a coverup to see some naked ladies”. Jade said mumbling the last part of her statement but Emperor heard her anyways as he went through the books on the table.
“You focus more on nonesense and thats why you end up killing my people with your untamed powers”. The Emperor said flipping through one of the books.
“It wasn’t intentional…
“Go change”. The Emperor cut her off and she bit her lower lip before going out to bath and change.
She came fully refreshed and changed into a light blue robe, her hair still wet when she saw the Emperor sitting and writing something on a scroll in the table.
She walked to him, and sensing her presence he stood up from the wooden chair facing Jade.
“Sit down”. The Emperor said and Jade sat down facing the books on the table and the white scroll the Emperor just finshed writing on.
“Those are the Yongxi characters and alphabets written bold and clear for you to learn and master before tomorrow morning”. The Emperor said and Jade turned to stare at him in shock.
“But they’re more than fifty over here”. Jade muttered picking up the scroll to stare at what the Emperor wrote then the Emperor sighed taking the scroll from her and turning it upside down.
“You can’t even differ the top from the bottom?”. He questioned and Jade only stared at the scroll quietly as the Emperor handed it back to her.
Then brought his face close to her shoulder as he pointed at a particular character in the scroll, Jade’s honey scent filling his entire nostrils and he blinked profusely so as not to be diverted.
“Just repeat after me and I won’t be repeating myself”. The Emperor said and Jade quickly nodded in response.

Demon King Damon stood right in front of a huge Dark Mansion smiling devilishly as he stared at whole mansion.
“Too bad the master of this whole place had to die untimely”. Damon scoffed walking up the stone stairs to the main door as every servant he by passed bowed completely to greet him and he smiled widely.
“Hope the Asura army welcomes me warmly also”. Damon said and Zucchini nodded beside him, his heavy long spear in his left hand.
“Once we get the Asura army on our side we’ll become invincible. No one in the tenth province will be able to compete with us!”. General Zucchini said.
“Of course! But we just need to get that crazy pheonix to my side, Damien is already a phoenix he can’t have another phoenix in his kingdom again, it’s cheating the demin clan deserves one and we’ll surely get it!”. Damon said finally getting tonthe top of the stares he got to the giant stone door and with his powers he pushed it open, walking into the huge hall.
“They obviously got my letter that I was arriving! Why aren’t they assembled in this hall?!”. Damon snapped loudly in rage seeing everything in the hall including the late general’s throne covered in black clothe.
“From the looks of things i think they’re still in mourning”. General Zucchini said and Damon rolled eyes in anger raising up the genral’s throne and throwing it to the wall destroying it madly.
“Nonsense!! I’m the supreme ruler of the demon clan no one else!!!!”. Damon snapped angrily and his general instantly went on his knees bowing like it would calm him down.
“Is that why you killed my father and sister?”. A scoff came from behind and very beautiful lady with Sindura’s face walked in sharply and not as elegant as Sindura would startling both Damon and Zuchini.
“Sin..dura?”. Damon called in shock and the girl whose makeup was as red as her robe and nails shook her head slyly, something Sindura would think multiple times before putting on.
“Call me Sindara and thanks for freeing me”. Sindara said smiling as she bowed right in front of Damon who scoffed at her.
“Seriously? I’ve been looked down upon by the Asura family enough! You dare lie to my face you darn wrench, though I killed you! You were buried right in the middle of my dungeon how’d you get out?!”. Damon snapped gripping Sindara’s neck tightly and she gasped out in pain, before using her powers push him away but it wouldn’t work since he was too powerful.
“I’m not that foolish wretchee sister of mine okay!!”. Sindara snapped and Damon let go of her in shock.
“You truly aren’t. She doesn’t use dark powers like you”. Damon muttered eyeing her from head to her toe and she instantly walked to him hugging him tightly.
“We’ll finally end up together now. Marry me instead, I was the one the late demon king wanted you to get married to, but my parents switched me with my sister cause they were afraid i would make you more toxic than you already were”. Sindara said and Damon pushed her away from him.
“Keep your distance”. He glared at her before turning to leave.
“I have my own part of my Father’s army medallion. Are you sure you don’t want me?”. Sindara winked with a smirk and Damon instantly stopped on his track turning to face her.
