Episode 20
By: Faith Lucky.
Kim nana (Cr@zy)
“You’re Jeremy’s what?” We heard a voice and turned to see it was Jeremy
Awwn.
He left where he stood and drew closer. The lady was already looking like a rat.
“You’re Jeremy’s what?”, he asked again, looking at the lady.
She couldn’t say a word as she just folded her hands in annoyance.
“You better stay away from Natalie” Jeremy said in anger and walked away.
Huh? She made him angry. Who the h*ell is she?
“So, you’re a nobody after all?” I turned to her and ask
“What did you just call me?” She asked with a scoff.
“You’re lucky I didn’t realize that on time else, you’d have been searching for one of your eyes by now”.
“Come on, Kim. Let’s go in” Nari said calmly to me and I rolled my eyes and followed her into the house.
“Who the hell is that lady?” I asked Nari as she took me into what looked like her room..
“She’s my brother’s ex” she replied tiredly.
Whaaaat?
Jeremy had a girlfriend?
“Jeremy’s girlfriend?” I repeated in shock.
“Yeah – its a long story anyway. They used to be the best couples, but she left him and traveled to Miami to be with someone else and after six months, she’s back. I seriously have no idea why she’s here” Nari replied with a shrug.
Hmph.
So, she’s actually Jeremy’s ex? She’s lucky I had no idea else, I’d have skinned her alive.
“By the way, welcome to my room” she said after a short silence, spreading her arms apart.
Mmm. The room was beautiful. But mine was bigger and more pretty.
“So, you do have a room in here?” I asked as I sat on the bed.
“Yeah – I do. You know, since I visited here often, they thought it wise to get me a room.” She explained while I nodded, taking my eyes around.
“Hold on; you didn’t come with a book? I thought we were going to read?” She asked and I itched my head.
“Uh…do we really have to read? I’m kinda of dizzy” I twitched.
“Huh? You’re dizzy? Then, why didn’t you just stay at home and have some rest?”
“I just needed to stay with someone. Um…why don’t we go to Jeremy’s room and read?” I asked and she laughed.
What’s funny?
“How do you think that’s possible, Kim? Besides, Jeremy’s about leaving the house. He’s having a birthday party to attend” she said and my eyes beamed.
“He’s going for a party?” I asked in surprise and she nodded
“Uh…don’t you know the celebrant?” I asked curiously.
“Well, do. He’s Jeremy’s best friend. Just that…I didn’t feel like going for the party” she said the last part with a sigh
Hmph. Fun-killer. It’d had been pretty nice going to the party with Jeremy?

Jeremy’s Pov:
I stood in front of my wardrobe, looking for something suitable to wear to Ji-tae’s party.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
“Who’s there?” I asked angrily.
I can’t believe Natalie ended up ruining my mood.
“Who’s there?” I asked again when I didn’t hear any reply.
There was still no reply and I went to check it out.
I opened the door and of course! It was Natalie – the b!tch. Just like I had suspected.
“Do you really have a date wish, Natalie?” I asked in anger as she stood with a fake pitiful face.
“Jeremy please; I’m begging you; just give me a chance to say something” she pleaded and tried hold my hand.
“What do you really have to say, Natalie? Like f**k,I’m done with you and I don’t wanna see you anywhere around me. So please, get lost before you make me do something cr@zy” I told her and tried going in but she stopped me.
“Okay fine. Just one request. Today’s Ji-tae’s birthday, right? Can I at least, be your date to the party?” She asked and I scoffed.
Is this lady for real?
“You must be a joker. I’d rather stay at home than take someone like you as a date” I growled and she fumed.
“Come on Jeremy, I know you. All your friends will be coming with their dates. Do you really wanna be the only one left behind?” She asked and I grinned.
“Well, bad news; I already have a date for the party. So, you’re not needed”.
“You’re lying” she huffed.
“Really? Then, watch and see” I told her and returned to the room, whacking the door close.
G0sh! I need to prove this lady wrong. I can’t let her follow me to the party. Never!
I need a date to the party.
I thought for a while. Who will I use?
Hold on; Kim!

I zipped up my black boots and made sure I was good to go. Then, I took my bag from the bed and left the room, ready for my next mission – headed for the party.
