INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 1 – 10
Kristin took possession of his tie, she was expecting Richard to stop her, and roared at her, like he always does, but he just stayed calm.
“Aren’t you knotting the tie anymore?”
“I will,” Kristin grins.
This was what she wanted to hear.
Richard watched her as she knotted his tie with lots of effort, like it was her exam papers.
Kristin smiled after she was done knotting the tie.
“Perfect!” She giggles, but Richard only gave her a cold look, which made her stop smiling.
“Smiling a little won’t kill you” She muffled to herself.
“Did you say something?”
“No. I didn’t say anything” Kristin replied, waving her hands in the air.
A loud gasp echoed from her lips, when Richard carried her down from the ottoman chair.
“In your next life, ask God for height” He walks out from the room.
Kristin smiled and quickly went after him, trying to catch up with him.
“Are you having breakfast?”
“No,” He answered, descending down the stairs.
“Why?” Kristin questioned, still trying to keep up with his long legs.
“I don’t eat all the time,” Richard replied. He was even finding it strange that he was answering her questions.
“You should try eating. Eating helps the brain to think fast and …..” Her words were cut short with her scream, when she almost fell down from the stairs, but luckily, Richard caught her before her beautiful face kissed the stairs.
Kristin closed her eyes, expecting Richard to yell at her.
“Are you alright?” He asked, and that made Kristin open her eyes.
She blinked before answering.
“Yes… yes I am fine” She stuttered, surprised at Richard’s question.
“What do you want to say that you keep following me with those short legs of yours?”
“You should try to eat” Kristin said, still trying to summarize why Richard was talking to her calmly. All he is good at is yelling at her.
“I’m not hungry. You should eat to your satisfaction”
“Wait Mr. Grouchy!” Kristin said when Richard made a step to leave.
“What do you want?”
Kristin bites her lips and gulps down before speaking.
“Is it okay if I go out? I have been stuck in this big mansion that can take in my entire generation. Being a newbie in Vegas, I want to see the city. I promise you, I won’t give answers to anyone who might ask how we met and how we will got married. Just give me a little time to step out of this house” Kristin blink her eyes.
“You think acting cute will woo me into your demands. You look like chucky when you try to act cute”
Kristin dabbled her head on the ground wearing a sad face. Richard noticed her sad face and sighed.
“I will send Luke over, he’d take you to see the beautiful sites of Vegas” Richard said and left the house.
Kristin squealed in excitement.

Lewis was checking out the aquarium for his upcoming movie when he spotted Kristin with Luke.
She was admiring the different kinds of fishes and laughing at the same time, taking pictures of the aquatic creatures.
“Are you enjoying your outdoor adventure?” Luke asked.
“Yes I am! It’s my first time going to an aquarium. I love it and I love you from bringing me here”
“You love me? My wife is gonna kill you” Luke said and Kristin laughed.
“It’s friendship love, dummy! You’re my first friend in Las Vegas”
“Then it’s an honor”
Kristin giggled.
“Take a picture of me” She handed her phone to Luke, making a pose.
Lewis smirked at the drama he was watching.
“Richard finally let his wife step outside. Seeing how luxurious she is, she must be from an influential family. I wonder how Richard got to convince her to act like his wife. It’s more strange that he is living under the same roof with her, cuz he hates women” Lewis said, staring at Kristin who was smiling brightly as Luke took a picture of her.
An idea hit his brain and he smirked.
“The drama is about to begin”

•RICHARD’S VILLA•
Kristin folded her legs on the bed, grinning as she watched the picture she took during her tour.
“Las Vegas is so beautiful. Someday, I’d bring my family here” She smiled.
Kristin hasn’t called her parents since she moved to Vegas, they will be worried cuz her phone was in the beg the thief stole from her.
“I should just call them to ease their worries” She types in her mom’s numbers.
She dialed her mom’s number several times, but she didn’t get an answer from her mom.
“Is she busy?”
Kristin was about to try again, when Richard’s voice halted her.
He was talking to someone on the phone.
Kristin dropped her phone and dashed out for the room, meeting Richard who was about to enter his room.
“Mr. Grouchy”
Richard looked at her, but Kristin didn’t know what to say to him.
She didn’t want to say something that might prompt him to be angry again.
Though his face was always cold, he spoke to her calmly earlier today, unlike the previous day, he roared at her.
“Do you have something to say?” He asked.
Kristin nodded her head with a nervous smile.
“Thanks for the phone you got me” She suddenly said.
“It’s part of our deal. Aside paying your parent’s debt, if you need anything don’t hesitate to tell me, but no string attached, understood”
“No strings attached, got it,” Kristin nodded.
“I will go to bed now” Kristin stared at him for a moment, before heading to her room, and just as she was about to close the door of her room, Richard prevented her from doing so.
“Mr. Grouchy? What are…”
“Spent the night in my room” His baritone tone interrupted her from talking.
