“Body scents can be the same even if we dunno each other, just like how people resemble each other” I quickly replied as I helped her up
” But…
“Tess…
” It’s Tessa” she corrected
“Oh, Tessa, should we go to the amusement park together on Friday?” I asked though I dunno why but I just want to go out with her again
Her face looks troubled for a while before she talked.
“You know….no guy has ever asked me to go with him to the park except him, you’ll be the second” she said and I sighed, I know I’m the one
” Who?” I asked
“Olly” she replied
“He must be special to you”
“More than special, I have a feeling he has woken up from coma already, he’s my everything, my love, my life, my sunshine, my heart, my…..
I interrupted by hugging her Immediately, I’m so caught up in the emotions web as she talked, so much that I got carried away
She stayed still at first but later pushed me away, she raised her hand to $lap me and I didn’t duck, it landed right on my right cheek, only God knows how her hand can know the exact position of my cheek despite her condition
Tears fell off her cheeks
“You have no right to try to hug me!, Just because i said you scent like Olly doesn’t mean you get to do anything you like, are you a pe.rvert?, Who do you think you are, just because I invited you here doesn’t mean you get to do what you like!!!” She yelled in tears
I started crying too
“Tess…
” I told you you have no right to call me Tess, my name is Tessa”
” Ok Tessa I’m….I’m…
“Go, just go!, Get outta here!” She half yelled as the door opened and a guy entered, must be Teddy’s brother, I quickly wiped my tears
“Tessa I can hear your screams from outside, who were you….
He shifted his gaze to me and gasped

“No!” I yelled and rushed to him
I quickly covered his mouth cos I know he’s about to call my name
“Jason please show him the way out” Tessa said on her spot
I took Jason out
” Olly!, First time seeing you in person, you’re really dope just like you look in your videos and pictures, wait…. aren’t you…. Tessa’s boyfriend?, You aren’t in coma anymore?, Why did Tessa look so infuriated?, Why is she angry?, When did you get here?, By the way, I’m Jasper, Teddy’s brother and I expect you to answer all my questions” he said, his arms akimbo
“Jasper, you see today’s not….
“Today?, Nothing is wrong with today so please tell me the whole gist”
I sighed before taking him farther from the surroundings
I told him everything without remnants and how I ended up here
“What!, How could you do that?, How could you lie to her about your true self?, Tessa is like an insane person for the first two weeks she spent here, she always talks about you,when she misplaced the bracelet, she almost went crazy while looking for it, she never took the earrings off and she’s always brooding, sitting beside the pool, even when she’s out with me, she’s always thinking about……you!” Jasper ranted angrily
” I know I’m behaving like a jerk right now but I was scared, I was scared something bad would happen if I come close to her again, I thought I was a badluck, I thought she won’t want me again”
” Do you have that little faith in her?, Tessa never forgot you for a second, oh Olly you made a terrible mistake, I’m sure she’ll be too angry”
” I know, and I’m ready to take it, I’m ready to take anything she’ll do to me, I’ll be very glad if she can just smash the h’ll outta me” I replied, crying already
” Oh…Lookat you crying, both of you are too emotional, well young master Wyatt, do you care to hear about the good news I brought?”
” What good News?”
” I know it’ll be shocking for Tessa Noona too cos we were still thinking of towards the end of this month but here comes a donor!, We found a donor for Tessa and the surgery has been scheduled for Saturday” Jasper announced and my eyes widened
” Really?”
”
“Yes, you better believe it, Tessa will soon see again”
” I’m so happy”
” But you should prepare your cheeks too, only God knows how many $laps you’ll take from her, she’s even infuriated with you already without knowing the truth,what about after she knows the truth….tons of $laps” he said and I smiled
” It’s ok, I’ve experienced her $lap before”
” But this will be different you know, good luck bro…oh, your number, I’ll be lucky to have the number of Olly on my phone!”
” Sure,” I replied and took his phone as I dialled my number
I gave it back before hoping into my car
I’m seriously scared but what do I do?
? Tessa ?
I sat on the ground and cried immediately he left, I suddenly felt guilty for talking shabbily to him…but he did what he’s not supposed to do too, how could he hug me?, And why does my heart beat double time anytime I smell his scent?
I’m really confused
“Hey Tessa Noona!, Some good news!!, We got a donor!!!” Jasper shouted, coming in
I spranged up and searched for him with my hands, he held them
“Are you for real?”
“I can’t possibly be joking with this, dad told me about it just now and I rushed here”
” What did you just say Jasper?” Dad said, coming downstairs
” It’s true Mr Robert, she got a donor and she has been scheduled for surgery this Saturday”
” You mean the day after tomorrow?”
” Yeah yeah” he replied and I hugged him tightly
” Jason, I’m so happy!”, I’m so happy Jason, I’ll be seeing again”
“I’m happy too Noona, you’ll finally get to see how handsome I am” Jason said as I hugged dad
” Daddy”
” Daughter, you’ll see again”
” This feels so good dad”
I disengaged after some minutes and thought of Olly, I just wish he’ll be here to be the first person I’ll see when I finally regain my sight
Then I thought of Wyatt again, I really overreacted and I think I need to apologise, oh, he asked to go to the amusement park with him tomorrow…
“Jasper….em, can you perhaps contact Wyatt?”
“Oh sure, I got his contact, I’ll call him, what do you want me to tell him?”
” That he should please come pick me up by four tommorow evening”
” Oh you both have somewhere to go?” Dad asked
” Yes ” I replied sadly

I got the call from Jasper and I’m more than happy
I couldn’t even sleep till dawn, I kept thinking of how it’ll be like
Will it be like our date at the park in Korea?,
I did my best to look good before leaving for her place wearing sunglasses so no one will recognize me
I rang the doorbell and Mr Robert opened the door
“Good evening sir”
“Evening Wyatt”
I entered and saw her seated on the couch peacefully
” Wyatt?, Is that you?” She asked and stood
” Yes”
” Take care of my daughter and bring her back safely” he said and went upstairs after giving me a “take care of my daughter” glare
I nodded as I watched his back
I looked back at Tessa again who’s standing and moving uncomfortably on her spot
She’s wearing a yellow free gown and black flat shoes, those cute legs, those little cute hands, the pretty eyes, that cute pointed nose, those tempting lips and the hair..
I feel like just grabbing her and kssing her hard right now but I don’t think I can do that
“Do you mind if I pack your hair for you?”
“No need, just let’s go” she replied bluntly
“I’m talking about ponytail, mind if I pack your hair into a ponytail?”
“no, you know only one guy has touched my hair and he did that Same ponytail, I won’t let any guy touch my hair except for him”
” Really?”
” Sure, do let’s go”
I guided her to the car and while driving, I played the song she sang together with Tamara
The band actually recorded it
“How did you get this song?” She asked, surprise obvious on her face
“Well, one of my friends is very close to the GOLDS so I got it from him, it’s a special song”
” How did you know it’s special?”
“I just knew it”
“oh, I’m asking all these cos I’m one of the two girls who sang the song”
“I know” I replied
” How did you know?”
” You told me about Olly right?, isn’t he the lead singer of GOLDS?, And I heard about his girlfriend Tessa too”
” But there are a lot of Olly in the world, how did you know the one I’m talking about?, Just who are you?” She asked, facing me, looking at me as if she can see me
“I’m Wyatt like you know”
“That’s right” she replied as I pulled up at the amusement park
We got out of the car and I guided her as we walked round the park
It seems awkward cos neither of us is talking
“Em.. Wyatt?”
“Yes?”
“Could you please help me up the vomiter!, I really want to ride it” she asked and I sighed
Honestly after riding it with her back then in Korea, I vowed never to ride it again cos it scared me stiff
“Tess…I mean, Tessa, I can’t ride it, I’m always scared of it”
” So you’re scared of the vomiter too?, Like seriously this is confusing, how can you have same likes…
“Wait, what’s your favorite color?”
“Yellow” I replied
” That’s also my favorite color” she replied
” I made it my favorite too since someone I love has same color as her favorite” I replied
“I see” she mumbled
” Silly puppy” I mumbled and I immediately regretted saying that
” Did you just say silly puppy?”
“Tessa…
“It’s ok, I guess I’m just getting confused, and I came here to ask for your forgiveness about how I shouted at you Yesterday”
” It’s ok, I went overboard so I deserve it”
” And big News, I got a donor already and tommorow is my surgery, will you come?”
“oh, that’s great news!, I’ll surely come”
“Joseph Wu hospital” she said and smiled
I smiled too as I saw that, it’s been long since I saw her smile
I dropped her home and when I got back home too, I actually cried
I can’t wait for tomorrow, and I really need to prepare my cheeks like Jasper said

The second day
As Tessa layed on the stretcher and was pushed into the operating room
I held my breath and I pray silently that it goes well
“You really need to prepare your cheeks like I said, I can imagine the slaps already” Jasper whispered
I patted Mr Robert and told him words of encouragement as we paced around the reception
Two hours later ?
“Doctor!” We exclaimed as we a rushed to him immediately he came out of the operating room
“Congrats, the operation went well and your daughter’s eyes is now fine”
” OMG!” Jasper screamed
I sighed in happiness and smiled
“chunma?” Mr Robert asked
“Yes, but you guys have to wait for three days cos it still has to be bandaged for balance”
“it’s ok, three days is nothing”

Three days later
As the bandages were removed, my breathing became more faster and I can’t seem to hide my excitement, I’ll see again!!!
I gasped as the last layer of bandage was removed, I opened my eyes so slowly like it’s a glass that must’nt fall
I opened my eyes to see life, colourful and beautiful as ever… OMG I can see again
“My daughter” dad called and I looked at his side
“Dad!”
I hugged him tightly unable to let go for sometime as a guy came in
“Guess who I am?” He asked
“Jasper!”
“Noona!”
We hugged each other tightly and I cried
” Don’t complain dad, these are tears if joy….by the way, where’s Wyatt?” I asked
” Don’t be too surprised” Jasper said
” I’m sorry Tessa” dad said
” What do you mean you’re sorry?”
Just then, the door pushed open and he came in, I stood up instantly as I beheld him, Olly!
My heart Started palpitating, Olly?
“He’s actually Wyatt” dad said
“What!”
“Yes Tessa, he’s Wyatt all along, he asked not to tell you” Jasper said
I stared at Olly once again , the look of guilt obviously glued to his face
“Olly how could you…
? Olly ?
” Tess I’m sorry…
“Olly, why would you do that to me, why would you lie and pretend to be another person?, Why would you make me feel confused?, Do you know how many sleepless nights I had cos I was missing you?, You know all the times I spent in hardship and darkness, your thoughts served as my light, Olly do you have any idea if how much I missed you, how much I want to hug and be with you?, How much I want to taste your lips again, how could you….
By now, her tears are flowing rapidly and I can’t hide my tears too
I went closer to her
“Tessa, just do anything you wish to me, hurl stones at me,I won’t dodge, punch or kick me, slap me I won’t try to dodge….
I haven’t finished my statement when she slapped me across the cheek
She looked at me for a while
“Nicky said I should make it four times four next time” she said and slapped me thrice again, I didn’t budge, she started hitting me on the chest
“Jerk, you’re a j.erk, I knew it, no wonder why I feel confused whenever you’re with me, the body scent, the voice, cheekbones…
I hugged her before she could finish
“I’m sorry Tessa I’m sorry, I’m so sorry”
“I miss you”
” I missed you more”
” I missed you morer”?
“I missed you morest” ?
“I missed you so much”
” I missed you very much”
” I love you”
” I love you…till the square of eternity” she replied and tightened the hug as our tears soaked and dampened each other’s clothe
