Chapter 8
Raleigh’s Enterprise.
Gianna was in her office.
She felt weak and decided to go to a nearby hospital after work.
She held her head as she placed her forehead on the table.
Sam entered her office..
He was confused with the way she put he head on the table.
“Is she sleeping?”
He scoffed.
“Miss Gianna,,
He knocked her table and she spranged up.
“Yes?”
She said with a low weak voice.
“Are you okay?”
He asked worriedly.
“Why do you even care?”
Gianna muttered inwardly.
“Yeah,, just a little bit sick”
She replied and smiled weakly.
“Reece needs the Loran Beauty Concept files,, he needs to attend to it”
He said and sh nodded.
She took out the file from her table drawer and handed the file to him.
“Ok”
He said and left.
Gianna bit her lips.
Her head aches.
“He acted nice today,, I wonder why”
She shrugged and decided to work on the remaining files she needs to attend to.

Lisa alighted from the Car..
She’s at Leighton Elementary School waiting for Ella.
The driver leaned on the car.
“I’ll be back”
She said to him and he nodded.
“Ok”
…
She decided to walk to her class.
“Hey Aunty”
A little girl tapped her.
If she’s not mistaken, she’ll be Ella age mate.
“Are you looking for Ella?”
She asked.
“Yes dear”
She replied.
“I’m Alina,, her friend, Ella has been crying since,, sulking alone and she won’t open the reason behind her tears”
The little girl said smartly.
Lisa gasped.
“where’s she? ”
She asked hastily.
“In the class”
Alina replied.
“Take. Me there please”
Lisa requested and Alina nodded.
Lisa followed her she led her to their class.

“Here”
“Baby”
Ella ran to Lisa and hugged her legs up to her thighs.
Lisa carried her up.
Ella is not only bunch of troubles but also weighty.
“Nanny”
She sulked on her shoulders.
“Why are you crying baby? ”
Lisa asked dearly.
“I’ll leave now,, my Mum is here”
Alina said and ran off.
The word ‘mum’ pained Ella the more.
“Nanny,, see
. Alina’s mum is here to pick her up but here I am,, I don’t have a Mum..
I’m motherless”
She bursted into tears.
Lisa Smiled painfully.
Of course, she has once been in her shoes.
Hers was Even worse because she’s both motherless and fatherless.
Lisa stroked her back.
“Stop crying Ella, I’m here”
Lisa said.
” Will you be my Mum? ”
Ella asked.
Lisa coughed.
“Ella,, the weather isn’t friendly,, let’s go home”
She said and wanted to drop her on her feet.
She clung to her body and refused to get down.
Lisa sighed.
She managed to carry her backpack and lunch pack..

They got to the car..
She moved her in..
And stretched her hand
She also moved in and the driver ignited the engine.
He drove off.

**In the car.
“Nanny,, I want some popsicles”
Ella pouted.
“We’ll get some”
Lisa replied and poked her cheeks.
She giggled.
“Hm,, can you please stop at a nearby Store, we need to get something”
Lisa said referring to the driver.
” Sure”
He replied.
Lisa continued patting her hair.

Gianna entered the hospital walking sluggishly.
She stopped by the reception.
“Hi”
She said weakly to the receptionist.
“Welcome to Batfield Health Care,, how can I help ma’am?”
The girl replied.
“I wanna see the doctor please”
She said.
“Ok”
The receptionist answered and described the doctor’s office to her.
“Thanks”
She appreciated.

She rang the Bell.
Doctor Ben,, the most Experienced and expertised doctor in the hospital motioned her to come in
“Good evening”
She said.
“Welcome ma,, How can I help?”
He said.
“I’m here for blood test”
She said.
“Ok ma’am”
He said and placed a call to someone
“Suzy,, lead Miss…
“Gianna..
“Lead Miss Gianna to the lab,, I’ll be there in a minute”
The called upon nurse nodded and Gianna followed her.
She nearly mistook her steps.
“Gaad, what’s happening to me?”
She muttered and continued walking anyway.

“Nanny,,sing more”
Ella said .
Lisa sighed softly.
She just finished singing like five Barbie songs and Ella won’t just let her be.
“Seems, she’s determined to disturb me tonight,,holy moly,,it’s getting late”
She thought.
“Hm,, Nanny,,sing me the song Jax sang,,like my father”
Ella added.
” Ok baby”
?I wanna come back to roses ?
?Dirty little notes on post-it ?
?And when my hair start turning grey?
? He’ll say you’re a like fine wine better with age?
?I need a man,, who’s patient and kind ?
?Gets out of the car and holds the door ?
?I wanna slow dance in the living room like ?
? We’re eighteen at senior prom and glow?
? Old with someone ?
?Who makes me feel young ?
?I need a man who’ll love me like ?
?My father loves my Mum ?
Lisa sang.
By the time she finished.
Ella has already slept.
She heaved a sigh of relief and tucked her in.
She packed her hair and kissed her forehead.
“Poor Ella,she needs a Mum”
Lisa thought.
She hastily stood up from her bed and carried her bag
She rushed out of her room and closed the door carefully without making an audible sound.
She descended down the stairs and wanted to move out.
“Hey”
She hair and tilted her head towards the direction the voice cane from.
It was still Reece.
“Why do I keep seeing you today?”
She asked herself.
“You’re leaving,, it’s dark”
Reece said.
He was in a three quarters Short and a white Polo.
“Yes sir”
She replied.
He moved closer.
“You can just stay in one of the vacant rooms,, it’s really dark mm
It’s hard to see a cab by this time fo the day”
He said and Lisa Shook her head.
” I’ll get home”
She replied stubbornly.
“Lemme drop you off then”
He said and went to pick his car key on the table.
Sam smiled from where he was hiding.
“Don’t tell me Reece wants to do that for a lady,, Wow,, seems he’s gotten over Mia”
He whispered.
“thank you sir”
Lisa said
She trailed behind him as they exit the door.

” Thanks so much sir”
Lisa said as she alighted from the car.
“Yeah”
He replied shortly and drove away.
Lisa Smiled.
“He’s cute even when driving”
Lisa muttered and walked into their apartment.
She bolted the door.
The living room is silent with a dim light.
“Seems she’s skipped today’s episode”
Lisa chuckled and headed straight to the room.
Trinity was asleep.
She turned on the bed.
“Welcome sissy”
She muttered sleepily.
“Yeah baby”
Lisa replied and entered the bathroom.
She doesn’t want to disturb he sleep, she would have waken her up and told her Reece dropped her off.

“Reece,, are you falling for your daughter’s nanny?”
Reece thought as he drove home.
“No,, it mustn’t be”
He snapped.
He stopped driving and rested his head on the steering wheel.
“Reece,, what’s wrong with you”
