Chapter 20

Gianna Walked sluggishly from the lobby to her office, unknown to her,Sam has been suspecting her..

She had been staring at the space weakly and sometimes she nearly slump.

She sat on her office chair and rolled the wheel to the window side..
She looked at the shining morning sun…

“So,,I won’t see you again”
She said in a whisper and rolled the chair back to it’s position.

She took her phone to call her sister that’s still in college.

? Gretel,,
She said trying to adjust her weak voice as her sister picked the call

?Big sis,how are you?
I act saw the money, thanks
Gretel beamed from the other side of the call.

? You’re always welcome dear..

?Wait unnie,,the money is a way too much..did you actually sent it so I could keep it for you or what cuz u don’t understand.
Gretel said.

?It’s for you,,I actually wanna go on a journey so I won’t be able to send money to you over there,,so use that for your various needs
She replied smiling weakly.

She coughed again..
This Time the bIood splitting everywhere because she didn’t cove her mouth.

?Are you okay?”
Gretel asked worriedly.

?Hm.. Sure..
I’ve been having symptoms of cold and catarrh,, Don’t worry, I’ll be fine
She answered.

?Okay,, Don’t fall sick,,need to attend a lecture,bye sister
Gretel said.

Gianna said and dropped the phone on her table.

She stood up from her chair and got a napkin from the window.

She wiped the blood off the table and the floor which had been stained..

She kept the napkin in her table drawer and sat back.

She palmed her cheeks

“Gretel,,can you live without me?”
She asked like Gretel is with her.

“can you cope,,can you!!
She bursted into slow quiet tears..

She cleaned her face with her palms when she noticed someone from the transparent Door.

Sam entered her office and sat infront of her.

“Why’re you here?”
She scoffed.

“You don’t want me here?”
He asked in a naughty smile.

“I didn’t say that”
She replied playing with her fingers under the table.

“well,,I agree to the three weeks fake courtship”
He blurted.
She ceased her brows.

“really?”
She asked excitedly.

“I’m not joking,and I’m sorry for wasting your time,,I was pondering over it”
He said .
Gianna smiled heartily.

“thanks Sam”
She replied.

“so,Where should we got tonight to celebrate it?”
Sam asked.

“anywhere”
Gianna beamed happily.

“I’ll get you later”
Sam said and left.
Gianna touched her chest.

“wishes do come true”
She said Smiling to herself.

Trinity was doing a lady’s makeup in the section when some of the trainees had told her Loran seeks for her.

She finished the lady’s glam.
The lady wowed when she faced the large mirror that was pinned to the wall.

“Wow,,I love this”
She smiled.

“Thanks,,the girls here will attend to the nails”
She said.

“Okay,I appreciate”
The lady replied.
She left for Loran’s office.

She knocked on the glassy transparent door.

“Come in”
His endearing but cold voice came out to her.

She nodded and slowly pushed the door to enter.

“Miss Trinity?”
He asked.

“Yes sir”
She replied.

“How can a man be this handsome,, I’m drooling”
Trinity said inwardly.

“Your engagements are getting high remarks and I must compliment you for gaining our customer’s trust”
He started.
Trinity smiled.

” Thanks sir”
She bowed slightly.

“What about a promotion to another level?”
Loran asked..

This time around, his voice sounds like the sexiest voice ever.

“I’ll be glad sir”
Trinity replied beaming with Smiles.

Lisa was just home doing nothing..

She watched movies, played games.. still it didn’t kill her boredom.

She decided to entertain herself witha tour around the mansion.

She stood up from her bed and wore. Her flip flops..

Since Reece didn’t provide her any work,, she’ll just walk around the mansion.

She left her phone on the small stool beside the bed.

She left the room and decide to take it from rooms to rooms.

She opened the first room..
It’s obvious it’s a master ro because of the hugeness.

She entered the room which happens to the Reece’s room..

She walked slowly to the bed and felt it..

“Hm,, bouncing”
She said and laid on the comfy bed.

So big.
“Is he sleeping on this kind of bed alone”
She wondered…

She was still gazing at the Beautiful room without standing up from the bed.

She fell into a deep slumber.

Ella ran into the living room as. Soon as she alighted from the car.

“Where’s Mom?”
She asked one of the maids.

She’ll be in her room”
The maid replied.
Ella nodded and ran off .
She got her and didn’t see her.

“Dad’s Room,, yes!”
She thought and ran to Reece’s room.

She entered.
And there she was..

Sleeping like a newborn baby.
Ella Smiled cunningly and closed the door back.

She entered her room..

“Ella think,, think!!
Remember you need a sister”
She sIapped her head slightly.

A thought finally nudged her.
“Yes!!
She shouted.

Reece got back from His office,, this time earlier than before.

“What about Ella?”
He asked the head maid.

“She’s in her room napping”
The head maid replied..
Reece mouthed okay and went straight to his room..

On opening the door, the sleeping Lisa came into view..

“What the heck!”
He muttered and wanted to go wake her up..

He heard the shutting of the door behind him and tilted her head towards it..

He pulled the door handle but the door is locked from outside.

“Huh?”
