CHAPTER 109

Carolina kept pacing around the living room as she waited for Lex to come back.

He left the house and he hasn’t come back since.

Carolina became alerted when the door opened.

Lex entered and she went to him.

“Where are you coming from?” She asked.

“I went out to clear my head, I can’t forgive myself for what I did to Henry, I betrayed him” He replied.

“You don’t have to stress yourself about that, I know Henry will forgive you someday, it’s right for him to be angry with you” She said and he nodded.

” Thank you mum”.

” You should focus on treating your face” Carolina said and he smiled.

” Good night” He said.

” Let’s go upstairs together” Carolina said and they went upstairs.

They separated when they got to the road which separate their rooms.

” Good night mum” Lex said and went to his room.

Carolina smiled and walked to her room.

NEXT DAY**

Summer walked downstairs with a puffy face, her eyes were still red.

James looked up and saw her, he was at the dinning table.

“My world” James called.

“Daddy” She replied sullenly.

“Come here” He said and Summer went to sat with him.

“How are you?” He asked.

“I’m not fine dad, he broke up with me” She replied.

“I understand how you feel, but please eat something” He said.

“I don’t want to” She shook her head.

“You need to eat, should I talk to him?” He asked and Summer looked at him.

“You will do that?” She asked.

“I will do anything for my world” He replied and she smiled, her face smile since yesterday.

“I love you dad” She said and hugged him.

Audrey came downstairs and looked at them with an eye roll before leaving the mansion.

“Don’t mind her” James said.

“I missed the Henry who is a Comrade” Hilliary said as they walked downstairs.

Henry smiled lightly and faced his front.

” You won’t understand what it means when someone you love dearly betrayed you” Henry said and Hilliary sighed.

” I understand” Hilliary said.

He kept talking till they got downstairs.

“I prepared breakfast” Hilliary said walking to the table.

Henry sluggishly went to the table and sat down.

He started eating slowly, Hilliary looked at him and sighed sadly.

Their car stopped in the school park and they stepped down.

?The twins are here

? That face again

? Henry is not smiling but he is still handsome

? Summer is a bch

Henry turned to the girl who said that, he started walking to her.

He stopped before her and gave her a dangerous glare which sent shivers down her spine.

? What is he doing?

Summer who was watching had a surprise look on her face.

Her eyes started turning glassy.

“Said that again?” He said coldly and the girl shifted in fear.

“Call her a bch again” He said and everyone gasped.

? They broke up but he is still defending her

? A kind of boyfriend I pray for

“Call her a bch again and you will regret it, she is far better than you” Henry glared one last time before walking away.

He began walking to the class and his eyes met with Summer, she had her eyes on him.

He looked at her and walked away.

Tears came out of Summer’s eyes and she ran away.

A WEEK LATER**

It’s a week now since Henry broke up with Summer.

They have become total strangers, Henry will walked and passed her without saying a word to her.

Summer tried her best to earn his forgiveness it was futile.

She missed him so much and a day won’t go by without her crying.

She has loss weight so much and her beauty was decreasing, she was not eating well, she is not the same lively Summer everyone knows before.

Henry is not himself since the break up but he is still finding so hard to forgive Summer.

He has became a shadow of himself, drinking at any given minute.

Tiffany kept making advances to win over Henry but rejection kept htting her face.

It’s a very hard time for the broken lovers.

Henry sat in the living room drinking as usual, it’s what he has being doing for the past one week.

His parents tried their possible best to make him forget about his pains but the pains kept growing.

He sat in the living room alone, Hilliary went out on a date with Dorathy.

He is crying as he drink from the bottle directly.

The memories he shared with Summer started coming into his head and his tears increased as he felt his heart ripping apart.

“I still love her” He mumbled teary.

Suddenly his phone started ringing.

He looked at his phone on the sofa and saw a new number, he ignored the call and continued drinking but the new number started calling again.

He got upset and picked the call, he was about to lashed out on the person but when he heard the voice, he stopped.

“Son” James said.

“Father” He replied, recognizing his voice.

“Can we see today at Wonderland restaurant, I want to talk to you?” James asked.

Henry sighed and closed his eyes, he wanted to reject the offer but on a second thought he agreed.

“Okay sir” He said.

“See you then, don’t fail me” James said and the call went off.

Henry placed his head on the sofa and closed his eyes.
