Selena’s POV
The Next Morning
‘Hey’..I murmured as I walked into the house only to see Janet smiling at me in an uncanny way..
‘What??’…I asked..
‘You spent a night in a hotel but Xander also didn’t come home last night’.. She replied .
‘I don’t understand what are you talking about??’..
‘You spent a night with Xander didn’t you??’.. She chuckled and I shook my head and walked inside even though she was right….
I spent a night with Xander..
I kssed him….
And he told me he was falling in love with me which was what I least expected from someone like him..
And this morning while he was still asleep with his arms wrapped around me I delicately escaped…
Can things get any less complicated??…
‘I just have to change and go to work Janet I am very tired’..I finally said and went inside the house..
‘But it’s Sunday the office isn’t opened isn’t it??’..Emily asked and I checked the calendar and squeezed my knees…
I need something to get away from home…
‘Daddy!!!’..I heard her scream and rolled my eyes as Xander walked into the house all changed and looking more handsome than ever..
‘Hey’..He muttered..
‘Hey’..I murmured in reply and quickly went into my room without him noticing and shut the door only for me to run into Janet who looked at me suspiciously..
‘What is wrong with you?? You’re avoiding him aren’t you??’..She asked..
‘Avoid?? you don’t know what you’re saying!’..I refused and she arched her brows…
‘What happened last night??’..
‘Nothing!! Nothing!! Except that I kssed him —Twice and I slept with him on the same bed but we didn’t have sx and then he told me he thought he was falling in love with me’…I finally said the truth and she gasped..
‘What?!!’…
‘I’m not lying Janet and I just don’t think I can even face him anymore but God he’s so handsome and I don’t want to fall in love with him but I just can’t help it!!’..I bursted into tears and she smiled..
‘He makes you happy and that’s what matters babe,he ruined your life and now he’s making it better for you again so what?? You love him and you’ve always loved him so i think he deserves a second chance and besides his mother is the wtch in this story….He deserves a second chance’..
Alexander’s POV
I waited on for about an hour but Selena didn’t want to come out of her room…
I guess I really shocked her by that revelation last night..
Dmmit!!..
Why did I say that to her??..
‘Emily do you want to go out to get ice cream??’..I asked my daughter but she was already asleep and since there was no use anymore I went back to my house..
Minutes later
‘Come in!!!’..I called out as I just came out of the shower with a towel on my neck and clad in a simple t shirt and soft jeans only for me to see Selena..
She still wore the same red robe that drove me crazy the first time..
‘What are you doing here??’..I asked and she smiled..
‘I uhhh…i just wanted to talk’..
‘About how messed up last night turned out??’..I asked..
‘Yeah it was messed up pretty much but your lips still tasted good though’..She whispered and instantly taking in on the signal I grabbed her by the waist and the look I saw in her eyes almost made my limbs weak..
How on Earth could I not have fallen in love with her before?? She’s beautiful!!…
‘You know this is just super awkward’..She murmured..
‘Is this awkward??’..I asked and kssed her softly on the lips..
‘No and I think I still love you’..She replied and my eyes widened…
‘Even after how I treated you??”..
‘Yeah I guess I’ve always loved you and I was super hurt that’s why I hated you’..She said and I kssed her again so she would stop talking about the past..
We were separated in the past but now all I want is a future with this woman..
‘I love you’..I whispered finally accepting the truth which I didn’t want to…
‘I love you too’..She replied and her hands slid under my T shirt..
‘What are you doing??’..I asked as she took my shirt off..
‘Well I want to kss my baby daddy’..She replied and when I got the hidden message I wrapped her legs around my thighs and kssed her
I have been lonely almost all my life since high school and now I think I’ve found the hole in my life…
