CHAPTER 47
“So she didn’t tell you anything?”Hellish asked
“No I wasn’t told that I have a brother,wait why do I think you are lying?”Roselle scoffed
“I’m not lying”
“You are surely lying, I’m the only child of my dead parent and I can never be a kid sister to you, never!”Roselle said
“Who said they are dead? You make me laugh”He burst into laughter leaving Roselle confused
“Are my parents alive? Please tell me if you know anything”Roselle said with pleading eyes
Hellish was about to say something when he heard footsteps and he vanished into thin air
“Why did he leave? I want to know everything”
“Why are you talking alone?” Came Adrian’s voice
“Oh it’s nothing and how did you know I’m here?”She asked
“What do you think? I know you come here most of the times”He replied
“Yeah it’s like my comfort zone”
“Sure I know that, anything troubling you?”He asked
“Why are you concerned? You never cared or talk to me as a friend unless you want to ask for my help”she scoffed and Adrian groaned
“Oh I’m sorry about that but Roselle I think I’m falling for you”he blurted out and Roselle couldn’t believe her ears
“Yes after that kiss we shared at the library,I haven’t been able to get over it,it kept on replaying in my head,it was like you charmed me”
“I really don’t know what to say right now, what about Dahlia?”
“She likes someone else”He muttered
“You are really unbelievable, remember that day at the library,you told me you are going to win her over since Daniel isn’t here,so now what changed? You decided to give up?
Or it’s because you are seeing Craig around me and don’t want to lose me?”She throw in the questions
“I don’t know but I get jealous whenever I see you guys around and it’s killing me”he roughed his hair
“Well I don’t care,I guess it’s your turn to suffer like you made me. Always talking about Dahlia non-stop”
“I never knew you liked me,you could have told me”
“Can’t your brain figure that out?! You can’t possibly think I will tell you that,no that’s not me.
Even before Dahlia joined us,we were not friends and the only thing that bring us together was when you need my help!
I even helped you to get Betty back then,your stupid girlfriend who later cheated on you.
Sometimes I ask myself that are you blind to see I like you?” She asked frustrated already
“You never showed me any sigh,you act normal when I ask for your help”
“Of course you can’t expect me to break down in tears in front of you,I do it whenever you are out of sight!”She said with glassy eyes
“I’m sorry”
“That doesn’t solve anything,that doesn’t change the fact that you broke my heart a lot of times unknowingly”
“What can I do to make it up to you,I like you now Roselle, please”He went on his knees
“No you are going to suffer like i suffered, I might even decide to date Craig” She shrugged like it’s not a big deal
“No please,don’t do that”
“I will ,I will even kss him in front of you just like you did with Betty.
I wonder why guys don’t go for someone that love them instead they go for someone that will later break their heart.
Excuse me” She turned her back at him and hot tears stream down her cheeks before walking away
Adrian remaining there looking dumbstruck and he didn’t know when a tear drop
“It’s hurt,I understand you now Roselle”

~ BROWN’S RESIDENCE
Dahlia got home banging the door loudly and she sat on the couch looking angry
“It’s not up to two days, he’s already messing around with my friend,what nerves”She scoffed
The door opened again and Anna and Daniel came in
“Why are you here?”She rolled her eyes at him
“I just came to see you Dahlia,is that bad? I’m so happy to see you right now,did Mrs Duel released you?”He asked
“None of your business and I know you aren’t happy to see me,you won’t be able to flirt around since am here,but the good news is that am only here for two days. Happy now?”
“Common I’m happy to see you and what are you talking about? Me flirt?”
“You wanna deny,Anna you are my witness”She said and Daniel looked at Anna who only shrugged
“I didn’t know you are her boyfriend,I was just gisting my friend not knowing i was talking about you”Anna said
“She said you guys kssed, I won’t blame her though because she doesn’t know.
It’s you I will put the blame on,why will you kss her when you know you have a girlfriend?”Dahlia asked hurt
“It was a mistake,she was drunk and I withdraw immediately trust me,I don’t even think she remembers”
“She told me she remember everything”Dahlia said
“So you intentionally kssed me, didn’t I tell you I have a girlfriend?”Daniel asked
“I’m sorry,was just carried away. Excuse me” She said and went up to Dahlia’s room
“I’m sorry okay?”He asked coming closer
“Whatever but it hurts hearing you kssed another girl”
“It was nothing,I really miss you”
“I missed you too”he kssed her forehead and she blushed
“So how are you back here?”Daniel asked
“My parents told Mrs Duel to release me for two days, I was so happy because I will get to see you”She cooed
“And now I’m here baby, looking cute as always”He winked
“But how did you end up at Anna’s place?”
“It’s a long story,my sister was accused of stealing a purse belonging to Mrs Wealth.
To cut it short, they realized it was not Dina and Mrs Wealth decided to help us”
“That was so sad to hear,well I can’t blame them,the rate of people stealing is high”Dahlia said
“Why don’t we forget about that,let’s face our business”He said and kssed her on the lips hungrily.
Dahlia responded immediately going with the flow, their hearts slamming at each other as the kss went deeper.
Daniel shoved into her tongue and Dahlia let out a moan,she’s definitely in cloud 9 right now
Anna was watching them from upstairs and she sobbed silently
