Episode 153
How fast time travels…
Ahana is 8 months pregnant. She has undergone a lot of changes. We were waiting for Mrs. Bhatt to update us with the reports. I was just praying that Ahana’s condition had improved.
” Come in…” She called us in her cabin.
” Yes, Dr. Howz everything ?” I asked curiously. Ahana was holding my hand firmly. We both were equally scared.
” Hmmm… I’m still afraid that there are no good news. The condition remains as it was before. The placenta has moved further, the chances are still remain slim.
The babies are doing very well but I need Ahana to be strong and mentally prepared for the worst. ” She said looking at Ahana.
Ahana nodded. There wasn’t a single tear falling from her face. Her eyes have dried tears.
Is she that immune now? I wonder how can she be so strong when somebody is telling her that she won’t even be able to look at her own babies.
” Dr. I still want you to do whatever you can do. Change the medicines or start another treatment…”
“Ansh!! I know it’s hard on you but all we need to do now is to have patience. There is nothing else that we can do now…”
” But… We have progressed to such an extent in Medical Science and still I don’t get a guarantee that my wife and my babies are safe. Do you think it is easy for us? ”
” I know it’s not at all easy. But I want you to have faith. Have faith in your love, in your God… Lend her your strength. Miracles happen everyday. ”
” Everything is a philosophy. I don’t believe it. I want a proof that she is safe. No matter what…
Ahana!! Why aren’t you saying anything? ” I called her.
” Ansh… Please do me a favour… ” She spoke and after a long silence.
” Anything, honey…. ”
” Please sign these papers. ” She said pulling out the files.
” NO!! Way… I am not signing those shit… ” I said angrily.
” Ansh… You need to be practical now. ”
” Yes… I am being practical now. Only if we are going with my decision then only I’m signing or else I’m not. ” I was firm.
” Ansh…”
” Ahana… Don’t try to dominate me Coz I’m not listening to you anymore. I have said it before and I am saying it again. I won’t do anything that takes you away from me. You are not going anywhere.
Let’s go home now. I don’t need anyone’s advice on what I need to do in order to take care of my family. ” I said the last line looking at Mrs. Bhatt.
I pulled Ahana’s hand and ignoring her protest I took her to our car.
” Ansh!! ”
” We are going home and I don’t want to speak to you. ”

AHANA’S POV
It’s been entire 2 days that Ansh is not speaking to me. He is always there by my side but it is like he isn’t with me.
No matter how hard I try to lure him he’s adamant. No morning kisses, no good night pecks, nothing. I never thought that he had such a stubborn side. He has to accept it.
The sooner he does that the better it will be for us to live happily. I have accepted it, and he has to do it too.
I don’t understand why he isn’t he supporting me. I want to have some good positive moments with him.
Although it’s past midnight I am not able to sleep, even after lot of twisting and turning. Ansh is fast asleep facing the other side of the bed.
I’m having those weird cravings again. I want to desperately have Kulfi Ice-cream. I slowly stepped down the bed.
I think we have some in our refrigerator. I tip toed out of our room glancing at Ansh for a while.
Ansh was managing everything on his own. From the company to the house. I don’t want to disturb him. He’s definitely exhausted.
It was pitch dark downstairs as I carefully made my way to the kitchen, slowly as I was all round and heavy now.
The only light was the one coming from the freezer. But unfortunately I didn’t find any Kulfi.
Someone must have eaten it. And unluckily there wasn’t any other variety of Ice cream too. All I found was a tray of ice cubes.
” Craving for something, wify?” A husky familiar voice startled me.
” Gosh!! Ansh… When will you stop scaring me?” I said switching the dim lights.
” Hmmm… And when will you consider me as your husband?” He said folding his hands.
” Huh!!”
” You should wake me up if you wanted something.”
” Well, I’m not a cruel person who will wake her peacefully sleeping husband just because I wanted to have a Kulfi. And anyways I thought you were upset with me.” I said making a puppy face.
At once he came towards me and cupped my face in his palms and crashed his lips on mine. I had tasted them after two long days.
I closed my eyes as a moan left my throat. I wrapped my hands around his neck and he lifted me up making me sit on the kitchen counter.
Slowly bitting my lower lip followed by the upper one. I responded with equal vigour. One of my hands waa moving through his silky hair while the other one was firm on his bare shoulder. He was only in his vest.
Leaving my lips he made his way through my cheeks and then to my neck leaving a love mark their. He wiped my falling tears with his thumb and captured my lips again.
” I’m sorry… Ahana… I love you…” He said between our hot wet kisses.
” I love you too….” I replied kissing him harder. After we both couldn’t breath we stopped finally, panting.
” I think we couldn’t stop our morning kisses ever… ” He said making me laugh.
” Yeah!! I agree…”
” Okay! So… Tell me. What are you craving for tonight?”
” Kulfi….” I beamed with joy.
” Good choice but let’s see where can we find it at this hour? Shall we? ” He asked my hand.
I gave him a hug and we set out for our Kulfi Hunt.
” Ansh!!” I called him when he was about to take the car keys.
” Hmmm… ”
” Can we go in the Maserati?” I asked.
He looked at me in shock.
” Why are you gaping like this? I hope you didn’t sell it.”
” What… No.. I didn’t sell it. And I wasn’t aware you liked it.” He replied.
” I liked it from the very beginning. I am a car drooler. I just hope that it is still in working condition. I know you haven’t used it since a year and a half.”
” Well, That’s true. But Dad used it sometimes. Anyways let’s go. I’m dying to drive it.” He said smiling and pulling me towards the garage.
” Oh!! My Love… ” He said touching the car.
” Ansh!! Like seriously? ”
” I missed her so much… ”
” Yup!! You did miss your dear car a lot. So, I shall give you all the privacy with it. You spend the night here itself while I’m on my own.” I said turning around.
