“Tony, please make sure to come back within the promised day, don’t do as you did back then at school”I advised him.
“Don’t worry, I will be back in few days, I cannot miss Sophie ‘s wedding.”he said and that broke my heart, I watch him walk out of the room and just then I stepped on something. I picked it up and it was the necklace I gave Sophie years back, tears couldn’t help but stream down my eyed.
“I was so foolish, I was so stupid, what come over me back then? So this is what my stupidity has cost? I have lost the right over the kids and Sophie”I said to the necklace.
I gulped down all the ? wine in one go, my head feels as if it will bust, my heart feels as if its burning.
“Uncle Nicolas, are you crying? “I heard Francine’s voice.
“Francine, Francis what are you doing here? “I asked them wipping my tears.
“We missed you so much so we come to visit”said Francis ad I took him in my arms.
“Since you guys are here, I think I can go back to my senses, let’s have fun”I said to the kids.

SOPHIE’S POV
“Where are you coming from? “I asked the twins.
“We missed uncle so we visited him”Francis said and hatred filled my heard from nowhere.
“Go inside now”I said and they both entered the house.
“Nicolas,is this what you wanted? What kind of portion did you give the kids to love you this much? “I asked him.
“Sophie, I didn’t give them any portion, I think its a connection between kids and dad”he said and that annoyed me more.
“They love you this much thinking that your their uncle, what if they find out that your their biological father? Won’t they leave me for you? “I yelled at him and just then he kneel down.
“Sophie please, in my whole life, I have never kneel down to anyone not even my own parents. But here I am, I accept that I am stupid and foolish, I accept that am I the big fool of all fools, Sophie it really hurts seeing the kids calling me uncle, please Sophie, I humble myself before you, give me back the right to call them my own, give me the right to be their father, remember a the memories we’ve shared Sophie”he pleaded and tears could not help in my eyes.
“, nick, do you expect me to tell the kids that your their father? “I asked him.
