?Prince Harry’s POV ?
The drive from the mall back to the palace is short, because I was on full speed, trying to get away from Stephano’s men.
I was finally able to lost them when I take a cut, and drive into my mansion. I parked my car in the garage and tell Gabrielle and Elena to go on inside.
Then I turned to Mark.
“Tell the boys to see me in my study in five minutes”
” Yes, your highness” he replied.
I take the secret passage and enter my study, I didn’t use the main door, cause I don’t want my mom, or my grandma and even Elena to see my men entering the house. I don’t want to scare them.
After waiting for some time, I hear my door open and the boys troops in my study.
“Your highness, they’re here” Mark said.
I turned to face them, my eyes harden in anger. I think this is the first time I’ve shown my emotions and that’s because Elena was with me when I was almost attacked.
“What happened today?” I asked.
They all keep quiet, looking downwards and shifting on their feet nervously.
“I asked a question!!” I said again, this time my voice a bit higher.
They flinched and take a little step back.
“We’re sorry your highness” one of my men said.
I gritted my teeth in anger.
“Sorry? Sorry! I remember clearly telling you to keep a close watch on Stephano’s men and what did you say?” I asked.
They kept quiet. This is just what I hate.
“What did you tell me before I left”
“We said Prince Stephano’s mansion is quiet, like they weren’t planning anything”
I snickers.
” Even at that, I told you to stay at alert. But you didn’t, my princess and I was almost attacked on our way back, where were you guys? Huh?”
” Your highness, forgive my boldness but you have to stay calm. Anger isn’t good for your health” Mark said.
I closed my eyes and take deep breaths.
“Your highness, we were deceived. We saw Prince Stephano’s men in a van, we didn’t know they had another car going after you. Please give us another chance to make it up to you” one of them said.
I managed to calm myself down, then I open my eyes.
“That’s ok. Luckily I was able to get away from them, and nobody’s hurt” I walked to my chair and sit down.
“Now that Stephano’s plan didn’t work, he’ll come back with a even better plan. My wedding is coming near, Levi?”
” Yes, your highness” he step forward with his head bowed.
” I want you to be by my princess at all times, you’ll be her personal bodyguard. I don’t want to give Stephano any chances” I said.
Mark step forward and clears his throat, I raised my eyebrows at him to continue.
“Your highness, we can’t give Elena a bodyguard” he said.
” Why?” I asked.
” She won’t accept it. Why not tell Levi to stay invisible and only come out to protect her when necessary” mark suggest.
I nod. Elena wouldn’t like it when someone is following her around.
“Ok. Levi, you heard Mark, I believe you know what to do”
“Yes, your highness” he said.
“Good!” I turned to the rest. “Boys keep close watch on Stephano’s mansion and don’t slack off this time”
” Yes, your highness” they replied in chorus.
I wave my hand to dismiss them.
I really need something to hold Stephano with and bring him in to my father for discipline.
? Stephano’s POV ?
“Useless assholes!!” I banged on my table angrily. “How can you let Harry get away?!!” I screamed at my men.
“We’re sorry, sire”
” Shut up! Harry got away today, I need another plan. I can’t let the wedding hold, letting the wedding hold is letting Harry become king, it’s a one way ticket. I can’t let that happen!!”
I pace to and fro in my study. I need ideas.
” Sire, how about we kidnap Elena. If the bride is with us, the wedding can’t hold” one of my men suggest.
I shake my head. It’s a good plan but I know Harry, he’s station a guard to her now that our mission failed.
“That won’t work” I said in frustration.
I sit on my chair with my head resting on my palm.
Then an idea crosses my mind and I grin. I stand up from my head and begin to laugh.
“I’ve got the perfect plan. We’ll set Harry up” I said.
“How?” My men asked.
” No man can see a beauty and be able to resist her charms. I’ll set Harry up with a gorgeous woman and find a way to get Elena to watch, that way she’ll break off the engagement herself” I explained.
My men smiled and nod their heads.
” That’s a brilliant idea, sire” one said.
“Go! Get Sarah here” I command them.
” Yes, sire” they said and left quickly.
Harry, Harry. Let’s see if you can escape this temptation.
