“Just open.” Odette kept twisting the doorknob which refused to open.
Kyle glanced around the hall,suddenly his phone rang. He dipped his hand inside his pocket and brought it out. Odette bend down and his somewhere far from him.
He clicked on it and walked out not far away from the door.
? Hey kyle where are you? ? Davis asked.
? I’m in the college now. Why? ?
? I just wanna talk to you urgently,don’t worry I’m gonna wait for you. ?
Kyle rolled his eyes.
? it’s alright. ? he hung up immediately he turned back when he heard Tim voice.
“Hey Kyle did you find her? Tim asked as harry has already made his way towards the door.
“Nope,but I think she’s still around. You heard her voice right? Kyle asked and glanced at the door.
“Yeah,I’ve checked everywhere but we couldn’t find her. I think she’s here then. Raymond,Scott and Owen should be here soon.” Tim said and they walked inside the hall.
Tim turn on the light and Darlene was standing beside the door staring at the opened door.
Immediately kyle walked out,Odette placed her hand on the door and tried to use her power then the door burst open and Odette ran out of the hall but bumped into Darlene on the way.
“Hey watch where you’re going miss.” Darlene said but Odette didn’t wait rather she increased her speed. Darlene was curious to know what’s going on in the hall.
She step inside and glanced around but couldn’t find or hear any voice,she turned back and opened the door then Tim turn on the lights as they stared at each other. Kyle mouth was slightly open as he widened in surprise. He walked up to her.
“Is it really you? Kyle asked.
Darlene who seems lost nodded without asking what he’s talking about.
“Yeah why?
“Oh my God! Kyle exclaimed. “It can’t be…no…she’s not Darlene.” Kyle shuttered as he tried to recalls Odette voice.
“But she’s the only one here. Raymond,Scott and Owen entered.
“What’s happening? Did you find her? Raymond asked.
“It’s Darlene,she’s the anonymous singer. We should’ve known that only Darlene has the most amazing voice.” Tim concluded but kyle demurred.
“No! Darlene isn’t the secret superstar. She’s where around here.” Kyle said and rushed out.

I was perplexed,didn’t understand what they’re saying until he mentioned secret superstar that’s when I knew they are talking about Odette. So she was the lady that bumped into me? Jeez! Thus is my chance to win. I knew my voice isn’t that good as Odette’s but I’m still working on it.
It has to be perfect as Odette’s,I won’t let her win or else I’m just gonna lose everything. I hope it works.
“Darlene are you the secret superstar? We heard your voice when you’re singing. Why do you keep running away from us? You know how much that voice means to us but I’m confused,how come? Your voice do changed this time. Perhaps are you using something? Raymond asked found it hard to believe that Darlene was the lady they have been looking for. She fooled them!
“I’m sorry guys,I couldn’t help it. I just don’t understand what’s happening to my voice whenever I sang sometimes it changed,it’s so frustrating. I couldn’t tell you that I’m the anonymous singer because I might be able to sing with the voice you want when you ask me to.” She took the time to frame a thoughtful reply. They narrowed their eyes.
“Are you kidding me? Owen yelled.
“You’re joking right? Scott asked.
“First Kennedy was the secret superstar but now it’s Darlene. How the heck do you want me to believe all that trash? Huh? Wait! You came that day and saved Kennedy from singing. You did that on purpose? To save yourself? Jeez! You’re the lady we’ve been looking for.” Harry muttered and covers his mouth.
“It’s annoying.”Raymond yelled and Darlene flinched back in fear. Thank goodness it isn’t kyle,kyle would’ve been way worse.
“How could you do that? Though I still don’t understand you,you voice change? Raymond asked out of curiosity.
Darlene nodded.

Kennedy has been acting weird lately. She doesn’t talk to me like before or pick quarrel with me anymore. My mind was telling me she’s up to something,like she has something up her sleeve.
I stalked towards her class and she was yelling at Nathan when I came in.
“How dare you do that Nathan? She yelled.
“It’s just for fun.” Nathan said nonchalantly.
“How dare you! She slapped Nathan across his face. He holds his face and opened his mouth.
“How dare you sl@p me btch.” Nathan raised his hand to sl@p her back but I held it back.
“Don’t you dare touch my sister.” I warned.
“Let it go btch.” Nathan glared.
“Language J.erk.” I said and released his hand.
“Trust me Kennedy this is just the beginning,I’m gonna ruin your reputation. Trust me.” Nathan yelled and walked away.
“What happened ken?
“Stay away from me.” Kennedy shouted and rushed outside,her eyes welled up with tears.
“Wait Kennedy.” I ran after her but she didn’t wait. Students kept murmuring as she passed them. She wasn’t looking up as she ran.
“Hey Kennedy.” I called out.

I quickly brought my phone out of my pocket and login in the school chat. Student was comment on Kennedy nvde picture. She was in her underw.ear nothing more. I knew Nathan did it that’s the reason for their argument.
“Jeez! Kennedy is cracy.”
I swear Nathan is going to pay for this. How dare he upload her nu.de picture,he’s cr.azy. !

Odette stopped running when she reached a place. She rest her back on the wall and panted hard.
“Oh my ! That was a close one.” She smile as she walked leisurely.
Kyle held her right hand and drew her back. She almost fall but hold unto him. Her hands were on his chest as she balanced her position. Then her hair sparkled as they stared at each other intensively…
