Chapter 49

“Hey pretty one” one of them smiled with his brown teeth.

They started walking closer and she kept crawling back.

“Don’t come closer to me” she shouted, shaking terribly with fear.

“Why the fuss cutie? We just wanna have some fun” the other one said, licking his lips lu$tfully as they kept coming closer.

“Help! Help!! Someone please help me!!! Evie shouted loudly, getting up from the floor.

“Did she just say help?” They laughed.

“No one can save you from us girly” one said and tried to grab her, but she dodged him and started running to the other end.

Two other men came out from the other end, smiling deviously and she stopped running. There was no other way to run.

“What’s the matter, swerry? Tired already?” The biggest among them chuckled.

“Now it’s our turn” he smirked and grabbed her.

“Nooo!!!!!!”

SWEET THORN : CHAPTERS 41 – 50

“Nooo!!!!!!” Evie screamed so loud, shaking vigorously and hoping someone would hear her.

“Shut the fk up!” The man holding her shouted and sI.apped her soundly.

Her lower lip tore from the slap while her cheek stinged badly. Somehow, that got her to stay quiet.

“Don’t you thugs know where to locate a br.othel?” A voice said and they stopped to see who it was.

All their eyes trailed to the person, even Evie’s. Their eyes landed on a masculine shape on top of a high roof.

“Jax?” Evie gasped with wide eyes.

Jax jumped from the roof and the men staggered back, seeing what just happened.

He walked closer to them with his hands tucked in his pockets and a smirk on.

“Don’t just stand there id!ots, grab the girl” the leader shouted.

“No, let me go” Evie struggled as they grabbed her again.

“Talk about guts,” Jax smirked.

“You really got a lot of nerve to show up here boy” the leader said, smiling deviously.

“Get him boys” he ordered and they rushed to him.

One of them tried punching him, but he caught his hand instead and twisted it, then he flipped him to the ground.

“Argghh!!!” The man growled as his back bones made a cracking sound.

The others shifted back a bit in fear.

“I will be the one to deal with you if none of you teaches him a lesson” their leader said angrily.

They stepped forward again and tried to h!t him with their iron rods. Jax caught them all at once and did the teaching of lesson.

The leader could only watch as his men got thrown to different sides, groaning in pains.

“You son of a bch!” He cursed.

“I guess I will use your girly here to teach the lesson” he smirked, placing a little knife on Evie’s neck.

“No! No!! Please don’t do this!!!” She pleaded, letting her tears out.

“Don’t even think about it” Jax said coldly with bI.oodshot eyes.

“You’re not in position to say that” the man shouted and proceeded to cut her, but Jax super sped to him.

The knife ended up giving her a cut on her arm as he tried taking it from him.

“Ahh!” Evie winced and Jax’s eyes changed, seeing her bI.ood made his anger ignite.

“How dare you?” He growled and grabbed the man’s neck, lifting him up.

The man kept kicking his legs in the air, trying hard to breath but he tightened his grip more.

Eventually, he d!ed as Jax separated his head from his neck.

“Ahh!” Evie screamed from the ho.rrific scene that happened.

Jax turned and walked to her. Without saying a word, he carried her into his arms.

He made the bodies burn to ashes and they disappeared from there.

?Jax’s Mansion?

He walked to his bed and placed her gently on it. He’s not the type to get angry easily, not to talk of having it last long, but right now he’s doing it.

His face still had anger on it, showing clearly.

“Is your brother at home?” He asked as he stood with hands tucked in his pockets.

“No. He said wouldn’t be coming back today” she replied calmly.

“Good. You’ll be staying here tonight” he said and she didn’t bother to refuse or say anything.

Jax scanned her body like a robot. Her hair was messed up, falling on different sides of her face.

His slowly fading anger returned again, seeing her bruises and the cut. Her body is also dirty from the falls.

He moved to her and carried her again. She wrapped her hands around his neck like it’s her life support, and he started walking towards the bathroom.

He placed her down gently as they got there. He prepared a warm bath in the tub and brought out everything she needed.

“Have your bath so that you can get some rest” he said to her and she nodded slowly, then he left to have his in a different bathroom.
