CHAPTER TWO

Hey, Masha, where are you? An unknown person said.

Who are you? I asked with so much anger, I was more angry at myself for not being able to protect her.

Oh, so you ditch me at the bake sale and come here and ask me who I am..

Then I remembered Lia, Masha’s best and only friend, they always bake cake and sell together.

So I texted her back just in confirm if she was truely the one. Is this Lia?

Yeah, I’m the one, she texted back.

Relief flooded me, but it soon disappear when I remembered I have to tell her that Masha is dead.

I’m sorry to tell you this, but Masha is dead.

Whaat!!!! I could practically feel her state through that word. What happened? She texted back.

I also have no idea, it was just too sudden, and I’m sorry for breaking the news to you like this.

She took some time to reply and I knew what she was passing through, the two of them were so close, even closer than sisters, and they are always there for each other, she knew Masha more than me and Tasha.

After some time, she said, sorry for the loss. I decided to change the topic.

The last time she saw you, did she perhaps tell you anything about her murderer ?

I expected to Know something, cos they were too close.. but she said no. But she has her diary which I can use.

I screamed yes, and I told her I would meet her at the bakery,, but then curiosity hit me.. why would Lia have Masha’s diary?

Well they are best friends, so my curiosity faded just like that. And then .

Why did she call my line and not Masha’s??.

THE ASHAS: Chapter 1 – 10

I went to Lia’s bakery, and she didn’t have many customers since she didn’t make many pasteries cos Masha wasn’t there to help her out.

She was on the counter attending to customers, so I just decided to walk around…

Just then, I came across a cake, it was to good to be eaten and I felt drawn to it.

So I decided to touch it when someone holds my hands,it’s out of bound.

She said and I turned around and saw Lia.. why was she so overprotective of a cake?

It looks beautiful, I told her. Yeah, she replied and that is the last memory I have of Masha cos we baked it together.

The cake was supposed to be taken for a competition to choose the best Baker for the princess birthday.

And why would you not take it? I asked her.. cos I cherish it and it’s the last thing I and Masha did together with so much happiness, so I decided to keep it.
