CHAPTER NINE
After I embraced him, he scrunched his nose up and asked, what’s that smell?
Really!!! So he doesn’t even know that he was the one smelling and his rotten pizza??
What are you doing here? He asked in curiosity.
In Masha’s diary, she last came here before she died, so I was wondering if she said anything to you, I said in a serious tone.
Well, she had requested me to go to the play ground with her, he replied.
The one near school? I asked.
Yes, why? He said.
Because that was where she was found dead. I replied him.
Maybe if I had gone with her, she would still be alive, I would have protected her, he said with a sad smile.
Don’t beat yourself up, it isn’t ur fault, I just wish she had written sth that day on her diary, but the page was blank.
What if it isn’t blank? Glen asked me.
What do you mean? Look, the page is blank, I said handing him Masha’s diary open on that page.
Look, Masha and I used to write in secret code using invisible ink, he said while placing Masha’s diary above the lamp, and the heat from it, made some words visible on the page.

Tasha is kidnapped.
The conversation between Sasha and unknown caller***
Hello, who is this? I asked.
Hello Sasha, the voice said.
Who is this and what do you want? I asked.
Oh please, calm down, it’s not what I want but what you want, the voice replied.
What do you mean? I asked.
Well, you want to know who killed Masha, then find me cos I’m the one.
Who are you and what do you want? Why did you kill Masha? I asked.
Well instead of worrying about that, why don’t you worry about ur only sister left?
Cos I have Tasha, and if you want to see her alive, come to the play ground, I mean come alone.
The voice said and ended the call.

What just happened?
Some mysterious person called me and told me they killed Masha and now, they kidnapped Tasha, right now, I’m so messed up and confused but yet angry.
Angry at myself for not protecting them, angry at everyone and everything, angry at the whole world.
What I’m I suppose to do?
You know that time when the whole world’s weight is on you and you don’t know what to do .. that’s the state I’m in now.
