THE BILLIONAIRE’S SON : CHAPTER 1 – 10

By Samuel Favour

CHAPTER 6

I can’t even remember the last time I saw the light, light up inside me.

My parents klled that light.

I can’t remember the last time I smiled genuinely.

I am damaged beyond repair that even if I wanted to be fixed I couldn’t.

One of my favorite quotes is “it’s sad… some people are damaged. And damaged people damage people.

They’ve lost belief in themselves and their projection will convince you to doubt yourself too. Help them if you can.. if not, listen closely” by Steve maraboli

But I ask myself every single day of my life

“Do I really want to be helped?”

“Do I want to be listened to”?

Those are the questions I asked myself because I’ve got enough betrayers in my life. Just my parents are enough to let someone in again into my life.

They say bad things happen to bad people and good things happen to good people.

I used to believe that when I was younger when at least I had a reason to smile but I gave that up.

I’ve not done anything wrong but bad things happen to me.

I’m I even a good person?

Maybe I’m a bad person, that’s why bad things happen to me.

I sighed as I looked at my body. I can’t even go to the hospital to get my wounds cleaned Because I’m saving money for house rent.

I put on my baggie trouser and a baggie hoodie.

I went to my bed too tired .

I grabbed my phone and messaged my bosses that I won’t be able to come to work today.

The only thing I’m going to do is to work in the club.

I dropped my phone back as I set an alarm for 5:30 pm.

With that my eyes became heavy as I closed them.

I woke up because of the alarm . I can’t remember the last time I had a good sleep like this.

I stood up from the bed as my stomach growled.

I went to the kitchen to check if there was food, as usual there was none.

I went to a nearby grocery store and bought bread and on my way back I bought a coffee.

I went to my room as I sat there and ate to my satisfaction.

I entered the bathroom and took my bath preparing for work.

I wore a crazy woneout Jean with my hoodie, combing my hair.

At least my bruised eye were gone and I wasn’t hit in the eyes yesterday.

I parked my hair in a high ponytail as I left the house.

Entering the club I went to the dresser room where all the other girls were there.

I just sat facing the mirror praying that today’s outfit shouldn’t be something exposing.

Immediately our outfit was brought, my shoulders fell.

It was a jean bomb short with black singlet crop top and black heel boot

My scars and bruises will be shown.

I couldn’t let them see that.

I knew I didn’t have any scar on my leg but my hands and back.

This is one reason I should stop cutting myself.

I went in and changed but I put on my hoodie on top of the black singlet crop top.

I used the fact that I caught a cold from last night’s rain and thankfully I was allowed to wear my hoodie.

I was so happy , putting on my boot heel before letting my hair fall.
