Michael’s POV

Sarah was discharged from the hospital the next day after being confirmed to be okay by the doctor.
The other girls were still receiving treatment after the drugs have been taken out of them and the doctor assured they will be fine.
Mercy packed her things since her work in the city is complete and she’s ready to go back home.
I’m just glad she’s going back home because I’d love to have the peace back in my house.
She’s taking Sarah home with her to make sure she’s safe which I understand.
I helped Sarah take her bag to my car then my friends arrived.
” Heyy guys” I said as I hugged Lara then shook hands with the guys.
” Thank you so much, Mike” Lara said as we disengaged.
” Oh c’mon, it’s not necessary…… it’s my job remember?” I replied only if she knew we are actually related.
” Heyy girl” she said as she went to hug Sarah tightly.
” Ohmygod” Tony muttered and I see him looking towards the door dreamingly.
I followed his gaze only to realize he’s staring at my sister as she came out of the house with her bag.
” Mike, you have a girl in your house?……and you didn’t even plan on telling us”
” That’s unfair …we tell you everything” Derrick said as they both stare at her.
” C’mon off it guys, she’s just a……”
” Please tell me she’s not your girlfriend” Tony caught me off.
” Not in this world, she’s just a friend…..she came to visit for a few days and now she’s leaving” I said.
” Already?”
” C’mon Mike, Make the introduction” Tony said pushing me towards her.
” Fine” I replied then went to meet her as they followed me.
” Mercy, meet my friends……the ones I told you about”
” Guys, meet my friend Mercy” I introduced and they shook hands.
” I’m Derrick, nice to meet you” Derrick said smiling and avoiding eye contact.
” Nice to meet you too Derrick, hold on….are you blushing?” she replied smiling which only make him blush harder.
I just stood there watching and nodding as my sister was teasing him and he fell for it.
” I’m Anthony, everyone calls me Tony….you can also call me Tony” he said weirdly just like every scientist.
” Nice to meet you too Tony”
” Are you a Nigerian?” She asked noticing his look.
” Half Nigeria….. Mother is Italian” he replied.
” Woww, that explains the dashing look” she said grinning at him and he smiled back.
” I must say you’re a sight for a sore eye” he complemented.
” Okay, Okay……I think that’s enough introduction…..let’s get going” I said.
” Mikey never told us he have other friend, I thought we are his only friends” Lara said coming closer.
” That’s because I cause him more trouble Everytime we time, I’m not surprised if he doesn’t talk about me” she replied.
” I’m Lara” Lara introduced.
” Mercy”
” Okay girls, time to go” I said opening the car door then Tony pulled me away from them.
” What’s going on?” I asked confusedly.
” I thought you said she’s not your girlfriend” Tony said.
” Yes she’s not” I answered.
” Then why are you ruining my plan to get to know her, I like her already” he said.
” Oh boy, trust me Man, she is a no-go-area” i said and he looked confused.
” How do you mean ?” He asked.
” She, right there, is trouble, you never reason why I never mentioned her, she has the ability to drive you nut”
” Look man, I love you man but she’s just not the right one for you……. she’s crazy”
” I’m not saying this to drive you away, I’m just trying to save you from yourself” I added.
” Is she that bad?” He asked.
” Trust me, she is” I answered.
” Dmn, she looks almost perfect…..thanks man” he said.
” You’re very welcome” I replied then we went back.
I bade my friends goodbyes then drove them to the airport and few minutes later we arrived.
” Sarah, please be careful from now onwards….and like I explained to you, no one can know about us being family…..not even Lara” I said.
” I understand……. thanks for coming to my rescue, cuz” she said then hugged me.
” Anything for the family” I replied then disengaged.
” What about me?….no hugs?.. nothing?” Mercy said.
” Fine, come here” I said then hugged her as well.
” Be careful sister” I said.
” I will, I’m going to miss you bro, and this lovely city” she said smiling.
” Sister, can you do me a favor?” I asked.
” Of course, you know I’ll do anything for you ” she replied and I smiled.
” Please don’t come back here” I said laughing then she punched me playfully.
” That’s mean”
” C’mon, time is running out” I said urging them to leave.
” See you Later brother” she said then grabbed their bags.
” You too sis” I replied then they left.
‘ I’m sure definitely going to miss her but I can’t have her around me’
I was still staring as they leave only to be interrupted by my phone ringtone and it turned out to the deputy chief.
? ” Hello sir” I answered immediately.
? ” Hello Mike, I know I told you to take as much time as you need but there’s an emergency” he said.
? ” It’s fine, I’m done……. what’s the emergency?” I asked curiously.
? ” Come to the office right now” he said.
? ” Yes Sir” I replied then ended the call.
I entered my car and drove off to the agency and few minutes later I arrived and see some cars parked at the front of the agency.
I got out of the car and wondered what is going on then I entered and asked one of the agents.
” What’s going on?”
” Nobody knows, but the Senate president is in the office with chief” the lady replied.
” Senate president?……what brings him here?” I asked.
” Like I said……. nobody knows” she replied and I left her then I saw the deputy chief coming to me.
” Good morning sir ”
” What’s going on?” I asked.
” Come with me, the chief is expecting you ” he replied and I followed him to the chief’s office.
We entered and I see worried look on everyone especially the Senate president and his wife.
” Good morning” I greeted as I entered.
” Senator Williams, this is Agent Hawk, our finest and the best in the agency so far” the chief said which made me wondered what happened.
” But, he’s just a kid” the wife complained looking at me.
” Be rest assured that he will get the Job done” the chief told them.
” Fine” senator Williams said.
” Agent Hawk, you have a new Mission” he informed.
” What’s the mission sir?” I asked.
” She” he said showing me a picture of a teen girl who look alot like Mrs Williams.
” Her name is Lolita Williams, My daughter” Mrs Williams answered.
” She went to Cape Town in South Africa for a vacation along with her bodyguard”
” Days Later, she called and said they were being pursued by some unknown gunmen and her bodyguard died in the process”
” Right now, she’s on the run in the city, we can’t contact the south Africans government because we don’t who people are”
” Or who they are working for which is why we need to send one of our own to bring her home” the chief explained.
” Here is her current location and phone number” the chief said giving me a paper with an address.
” Please, bring her home…… she’s our only daughter” the woman pleaded.
” I’ll bring her home…..I promise” I replied.
” Get prepared, a jet is waiting for you……you leave in 10s” he added.
” Yes Sir” I replied then went out of the office.

{Few Hours Later}

The plane landed in Cape Town international airport and I came down and head out of the lobby.
I bring out the photo of the girl and look at it one more time then waved at a cab which parked beside me.
” You speak English?” I asked as I entered.
” Yes, where are you going?” He asked then I showed him the address given to me.
” This place?….Far….very far” he replied.
” How much?” I asked.
” 100 Rand” he replied.
” Fine….go now”
” Okay” he replied then drove off.

An hour an half Later we arrived at a place I could define as a village which is according to what I’m told.
” We are here” he said then I opened the briefcase with me then hand him his money.
” Thank you” I said as I get out.
” No, you thank you” he replied smiling then I went away then I dialled the number given to me.
? ” Hello, Dad?” The girl said.
? ” Hello Lolita, I’m agent hawk and your Father sent me” I said.
? ” Please take me away from here, I’m so scared” she said sounding very scared.
? ” I want you to call down and tell me exactly where you are, I’m at the village right now” I said.
? ” I’m behind the village, please hurry up my phone I dyi…….” She was saying then call disconnected.
I started running into the village as fast as I could and I noticed some armed men moving around in a truck.
I managed to avoid them anytime I see them until I made my way behind the village and started looking for the girl.
I dialled the number again but it wasn’t connecting then suddenly I heard a sound from an abandoned bus.
I bring out my gun then slowly entered the bus and look around for her.
” Lolita, it’s me agent hawk……I called you earlier” I said then she slowly came out of hiding.
” You’re safe now…okay?” I assured and she nodded affirmative then i contact the agency.
? ” Hawk to base…over”
? ” Copy Agent Hawk, report” the deputy chief said.
? ” I’ve got the girl”
? ” Is she alright?”
? ” She’s fine…..we are heading to rendezvous point”
? ” Copy, come back safe”
? ” Copy that” I replied then disconnect.

” Ohmygod, they found us” she said pointing out through the window.
” C’mon, let’s go” I said grabbing her hand and started running.
The men started shooting at us then I looked for a secure place and hide the girl.
” Don’t come out……no matter what” he said to her.
” Okay” she replied then I turned to the men and started shooting back at them.
As I keep on killing them more and more of them keep coming with their car and I continue shooting.
Some minutes later they are all laying dead on the ground except one who is bleeding badly on the ground.
” Who sent you?” I asked pointing the gun at him then he started laughing.
” You don’t have to point that at me, I’m going to die anyway” he said breathing heavily.
” Just tell me why you’re doing this……who sent you?” I asked.
” Peruzad” he said.
” Again?……who is he?”
” WHO IS PERUZAD?” I asked and he smiled.
” No…. Nobody knows….. Nobody” he said then died.
” Who the he.ll is this PERUZAD”
