CHAPTER 20
He put on his shirt and walked to the bed before laying on it.
He stared at the ceiling for a while.
“Aren’t you going to sleep”.
I quickly sat on the floor beside the bed.
I kept stealing glares at him, I don’t know why I feel something is wrong about him.
And I just want to make sure he’s okay.
Why do I even care?
Then Eric looked at me as I stared at him back.
We didn’t break eye contact.
His blue eyes are so hypnotizing, and it shines brightly in the dark unlike my green boring eyes.
He whispered something that I wasn’t able to grab before looking away.
I sighed.
I looked at Eric one more time before I stared at the floor.
I laid on the cold floor with the chain still at my wrist.
I wonder how my parents are doing.
Now that I’m no longer their slave who will be paying the house rent, giving my father my Money and cooking.
I wonder how they are faring.
I just want them to feel the pain I went through staying with them but I doubt that.
Infact I’m sure they’ll be celebrating while I’m gone.
I looked at Eric who was already fast asleep.
How can someone be this handsome, cold and wicked be at the same time.
I stared at his handsome face wondering what was going on in his head.
That scar.
Who did that to him?
What happened?
Why do I always get more nervous when we are so close?
God, there are so many emotions I’m feeling.
I touched my lips where he kssed me.
I wouldn’t lie but I felt something in my stomach when his lips touched mine.
It was like something was about to explode .
I’m going crazy .
I stared at Eric who was already asleep
I slowly sat on the bed looking at his handsome face.
Is he the same guy that h!t me yesterday?
He looks so cute and harmless as if he wouldn’t be able to hurt a fly.
My hands made their way on their own to his face.
I quickly redraw both of them.
I stared at him for a while before going back to the floor.
Covering myself with the dover Eric gave me I closed my eyes as the darkness consumed me.
I woke up with someone screaming.
I jumped from the floor as fear shivered around my body.
I quickly checked the time beside the bed abd it was just 2 in the morning.
I looked at Eric only to see he was still asleep but there was a frown on his face.
His hands were tightly around the sht.
It looks like he was having nightmares.
“No no no, please believe me” he said.
I quickly rushed to him as I started to wake him up.

“Eric , wake up”.
But he kept shifting violently on the bed.
“Eric!!!” This time his eyes flew open.
His blue eyes were dark like the night sending shivers down my spin

When his eyes landed on mine I quickly stood up but he grabbed me by the hand pulling me into a hug.
“Don’t leave me”
“Please don’t leave me alone , don’t do that again ”
“E…Eric ”
“I love you”.
