I was in the office preparing for a meeting when Seth walked in.
He’s my best friend and also my childhood friend.
He’s the most annoying person ever.
I never keep anything from him.
“Hey dude” he said but I just ignored him
“Boring as ever”.
I started looking for a file but couldn’t find it.
I must have left it at home, considering the fact that I didn’t sleep there last night.
“Seth can you please go to my house and get me a file”
“Now you remember you have a best friend”.
“Will you help me or not?”
“I will”.
“Thanks I owe you one”
“Yes, you really do,” he said sarcastic making me roll my eyes
With that he left , I waited for him because I needed that file. It contained important documents I needed for the meeting in the next 10 minutes.
“Where the h’ll is he? I could have gone by myself”
Minutes later Seth walked him, giving me the file.
“Eric, you didn’t tell me you have a hottie at home”
The coffee that was in my hand fell, totally forgetting about Nyx.
I looked at Seth angrily.
“She’s freaking hot and her name is Nyx”
I dropped the file trying so hard not to show my anger.
I should have gone by myself.
I felt like pvnching Seth on the face that I didn’t notice I was bleeding my finger piercing deeply inside my skin.
“I couldn’t help but give her a small peck on the cheek, I think–
I didn’t wait for Seth to finish his statement as I pushed him hard against the wall.
“Stay the fk away from her” I yelled angrily.
Seth looked at me shocked because I never let my anger out of control or shouted at him”
Then he smiled
“Don’t tell me your jealous?”
I let go of Seth as I turned my back .
“Or do you love her?”
I shot him a deadly glare.
“Stop spilling out nonsense”
“Then why the h’ll did you push and shout at me after telling you I kissed her ” he yelled back and I could see the hurt on his face but I was too angry to apologize.
“Shut up and don’t ever do that again”
“I think I’m in love with her Eric and the next time I see her maybe I’ll give her a kss on the lips’ ‘ he stormed out leaving me fuming in anger.
My secretary Daisy came in.
“Sir your meeting is–
“Cancel everything and reschedule it till another day”.
With that I went out if the office, I’ll teach Nyx a lesson she’ll never forget.
After wh!pping her with my belt, I let go of it realizing what I just did
“I hate you ” she said
Hearing those words made something inside me ache.
Before she could hit the floor I caught her carrying her to the bed.
I looked at her wounds on her back
“What have I really done?”
I never let my anger out,
It’s been long since I got really possessive over someone after she died.
“I’m really a mo..nster just like she said”
