CHAPTER 21

Nyx lothario

“Don’t leave me”

“Please don’t leave me alone , don’t do that again ”

“E…Eric ”

“I love you”

My eyes widened as my heart did a triple beat.

Did Eric just tell me he loves me?

“I love you”

“I love you Ariel,” he said.

Who the fk is Ariel ?

“Please don’t leave me again, I thought I lost you. You know I love you, the thought of losing you again makes my heart ache ” he said.

My mouth opened wide, surprised by his confession.

His grip around me tightened.

“Don’t leave me again ”

“You’ll always be the one I love Ariel ”

That felt like I was st.abbed right directly in my heart.

I swallowed hard as I hugged him back.

“I’m here, I’m here mas…

I paused before I said.

“I’m here Eric and I’m never leaving you again ” I said.

We stayed like that for a while , when I noticed Eric had fallen back asleep.

I laid him on the bed back gently, not waking him up. I stared at his sleepy face.

When he said I love you I wouldn’t deny that a part of me was happy.

But at the mention of Ariel, I felt a pain in my chest.

“Who the h’ll is Ariel?” I whispered, staring at Eric.

He has a past that no one knows except for him but asking him will be like sending me to my de.ath .

Why I’m I so curious? It’s not like it’s my business but I really want to know.

But seriously do I look like Ariel?

Is she even pretty?

I couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed.

What has gotten into me?

After I knew he had fallen asleep deeply I went back to the floor, not able to sleep again.

My mind was now clouded with this girl called Ariel.

I stood up as I went back to the small library.

I took the diary , read that line again.

“IT’S BEEN THREE YEARS SINCE THE INCIDENT HAPPENED”.

” What happened that year?” I whispered asking myself.

There should be another diary before this , I need to look for it.

I began to search everywhere but I couldn’t find it.

I sighed, going back laying down on the floor.

Thinking about this Ariel girl.

Was she his past lover?

What happened to her?

Did he really love her?

Where’s she now?

A lot of questions with no one to answer them. I finally fell asleep thinking about it.

I woke up with the sunlight reflecting through the window.

I growled while sitting up.

But instead of me being on the floor I was on the bed.

What the h’ll?

How did I get here?

Maybe it was Eric.

Last night’s event kept playing in my head.

After taking my bath and eating my breakfast I sat on the bed bored.

I don’t know how long I was sitting there but I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard the door open.

I looked over to it expecting it to be Eric but to my surprise it was Seth.

What the h’ll is he doing here?

“Hey Nyx, how are you?” He said giving me a heart warming smile.
