CHAPTER 24

Stella still standing there looking at me confused.

“Stella if you don’t leave right now , I swear I’ll throw you out by myself.”

“What are you going to do?, I’ve been with you ever since that Ariel —

Before she could complete her statement my hand raised by itself slapping her hard on the cheek.

Stella who was in shock stood there glaring at the floor

“Don’t ever mention her name and just because your father and my father are close does not mean we are friends . ”

I was about to say more when there was a knock on the door.

Knowing who it was I responded ” come in”

“Good morning boss”

I turned to the security “Throw her out of my office if you ever allow her into my company again, I’m sure you still love your jobs”.

They immediately dragged Stella out who was shouting and throwing a tantrum for all I care.

I sighed , almost forgetting about the party.

My mind drifted back to Nyx,

Does she likes the booyk ?

Is she reading it?

Gosh , I have to stop thinking about her.

After an hour in the meeting room, I walked back to my office and I saw Seth there.

Not in the mood for his play I just sat on the coach resting my head backwards.

“There’s something I need to tell you Eric?”

“If you’re there to say anything about Nyx the door is wide open because I’m not ready for that”

“I wish I had the time for that but this is really important and you’re not going to like it”

I sat up looking at Seth who was looking serious.

“What’s it”

“Are you going for the grand party this Friday?”

“I don’t know”

“You know you have to attend it because you missed last year and last two years, you have no other option than to attend it.

But that’s not why I’m here”

I just nodded letting him go on.

“Ryder is back and he’s coming for the party ”

My eyes grew wide hearing that. I stared at Seth in shock.

“What!!” I search in Seth eyes if there’s any form of joke in it but I knew he’ll never use Ryder as a joke and his face said it all.

“I’m serious Eric, he’s back and he plans on attending the party after 3 years.

I’m sure he’s doing this on purpose and I’m worried about you Eric, you know what happened 3 years ago”.

My bI.ood was already boiling in anger as my fist cleached together.

That bstard, he should have died, he’s the cause of evey nightmares I’ve been having for the past 3 years.

There was silence no one talking just processing the information in my head.

“Eric…

I cut Seth knowing what he was about to say. “There’s no use because I have to attend the ball and why the h’ll his Ryder back?”

That fking bstard , I should have killed him a long time ago.
