There are twenty items on the list and I have only twenty minutes?, My God
I rushed to the store to get them quickly, permanent ink, files, notes, a diary…..I went to the pharmacy to get a first aid kit, and all others,….I have only two minutes left when I’m done, I told the driver to drive fast and we got home after four minutes
I ran inside with heavy breaths and met him seated in the living room, watching TV
“You’re two minutes late” he said, staring at the TV
“I’m so sorry, it’s not easy to find the soaps and toiletries, even the….
“Spare me the gist, I need a toothpaste and i ran out of fruits in the freezer, go get them” he ordered
“Huh???”
“Go get them!” he repeated
I ran out again, thank God he didn’t limit my time
I have to go back to the bank to withdraw again, I went back to the store to get the fruits and his brand of toothpaste is so rare, it’s an international brand and can only be found in the store at the far end of the city, I got everything and rushed home
“What took you so long?”
“I’m sorry sir, your brand of toothpaste is so hard to get”
“You always have an excuse, well, I’m going for a party by 7:pm in the evening, get ready, for now, get me some fruits and wine” he said
“Yes sir” I replied and arranged the fruits in the fridge while I put some in a plate for him and also a bottle of wine
“You can go now” he said and I went to my room
“Hummph” I sighed when I got back to my room
My first day is horrible, my body is aching cos of the rush, not even an ounce of pity, is he even human?, I think I have a lot to do here, well, so far he’ll be cooking by himself, that’s fair enough, I’m the queen of errands anyways….

After sending Hellen to her room, I lost interest in the fruits and thought of cooking some pasta, while heading to the kitchen, someone entered, it’s Elvira
“Cute cupcake” she said with smiles
“Aren’t you going for your shoot again?” I asked, she’s actually a little into modelling
“I’m going but I just decided to say hi to you” she replied
“Thanks, I was actually going to cook….
“Stanley, till when are you going to be having phobia about females food?, That’s exactly what should Happen to you, I told you to get a maid but you won’t listen” she complained
“I actually got one this morning”
“Whoa!, Really?, Then why are you cooking?”
“You know how much I cherish cooking by myself’
“Then why did you get a maid?”
“For simple errands” I replied and she shaked her head
“Look at him….. where’s the maid?” She asked
“Hellen!” I called and she came rushing out
“Wow, cute little pinkie” Elvira said, smiling

“Good morning ma’am” Hellen greeted
“Welcome here pinkie, my brother might be a little cranky and egoistic, but bear with him and just take care of him, huh?”
“Yes ma’am, I’ll do my best” she answered
“You can go” I said and she left
“Are you going for the McDonald’s party?” She asked
“Sure, I am, so far I’m invited” I replied
“I’m going too cos I’m also invited, but Rihana should better not show up, see ya there” she said and left
I told Elle to arrange my clothes for the party and she did
“What are you wearing?” I asked
“Am I following you to the party?
“I told you you’ll be following me everywhere I go!” I snapped back
“I don’t have a decent outfit for a party” she answered
“G©sh, then go withdraw and get yourself a dress” I ordered and she rushed out
“Why is she so clumsy and slow witted?”
She came back some minutes later with a dress
“”Go get dressed” I said and she went to her room while I went to dress up too
At exactly 7:pm, my driver drove us to the McDonald’s party, the party is in full swing already when we got there
The McDonald family are the world best investors, father, mother and their son Richard, they are even the top investor in our empire
Richard used to be a childhood friend to I and Steve, even when I’m in America, I, Steve, and him used to do video calls and chats frequently but he stopped calling few weeks before my arrival in Singapore and Steve said he stopped picking his calls too, when I finally arrived in Singapore, he didn’t even attend my welcome party, that’s when I and Steve decided to let him go too…
I saw a lot of friends and foes, then I saw Elvira, she came to meet me
“You’re late” she said
“Well it’s not my party” I replied and she squeezed her face
“Oh, cute pinkie” she said, refferring to Elle

“Evening ma’am” I greeted and she hugged me
“I dunno why but I like you” she said and I smiled
“Thanks” I replied
“I didn’t get to tell you my name the other time at the mansion, I’m Elvira and like you know, I’m this cute cupcake sister” she said, pulling his ear, I giggled silently
“Did he tell you his name?
“No” I replied
“I knew it, by the way, his name is Stanley” she said and i nodded
“Enjoy yourselves” she said and left us to her table
Then I saw someone coming our way, the face looks familiar but I can’t just pinpoint where I’ve met him before…..yes!, Now I remember, he’s Richard, the guy who asked me the way to Watts Villa
“Whoa, can’t believe you’re also here” he exclaimed as he got to us
“How have you been Ellen?”
“I’ve been good” I replied
“Dude, you’re still the cocky guy I know” he said, refferring to Stanley
“I see” he replied, not concentrating
“I’m Richard MacDonald, the only son of the McDonald family” he said
“Whoa, meaning, your dad is the organizer of the party” I exclaimed
“Sure, see you around” he said and left
“I need to give Mr McDonald a bouquet of flower, go get me one over there” he said and I ran out to get him a bouquet of flower…

Richard thought I’ll still want to talk with him after how he stopped talking to I and Steve?, No way, that’s why I just shoved him off, I should just give Mr McDonald a bouquet of flowers and get the h.ell out of here
Just after Elle went to get flowers, Elvira came back
“Where is Pinky?” She asked
“Who’s Pinky?” I asked
“Your maid, that’s the nickname I gave her” she replied and I scowled
“So childish,she went to get me flowers” I replied and almost immediately, I saw Rihana, just coming into the hall
“Now this night is gonna be a bad One” Elvira said hatefully
“Hey Elvira, can you please disappear from my fiance’s side?” She said rudely when she finally got to us
Elvira smiled sarcastically,
“How rude, I should disappear?, I think you’re the one who really needs to disappear” Elvira answered
“Cut the crap stinky face!” Rihana shot back
“Now Rihana, that was rude” I said and she raised her hand to slap me but someone held it, it’s Elle, she held the flowers in one hand and held Rihanna’s hand with the other
“You can’t slap my boss!” She said boldly…
