Rihana looked at Steve without any sign of remorse
“Just why did you stand on the way?, Can’t you just let me teach the bitch a lesson?” She said defensively
“I’m so disappointed….
Steve was interrupted when boss fell down heavily and that’s when Rihana left me, I ran to him and tilted him up
“Boss, boss!” I called but Rihana suddenly pushed me away and took over
“Baby!, Stanley!” She called but he didn’t open his eyes
Rihana stood up and walked to me
“See what you caused?” She accused
“I’m not in anyway at fault here” I replied and went to boss again, tears are already escaping my eyes
“What happened here?” Elvira asked, just coming from outside I think
“He suddenly fainted” I replied
“Then let’s get him to the hospital!” She said aloud at Steve
Steve had to give boss a piggyback ride to the car and he was quickly driven to the family hospital
He was admitted and given drip
“He’ll wake up soon, but I must tell you he has a high fever and it has entered his system so much and that’s why he fainted, he’ll soon wake up” the doctor said and left us
“So you don’t even know when your boss is sick or healthy,all you care about is seducing him” Rihana said again
“Just shut that gutter you call mouth!, Is this the right time to try to cause trouble?, Brainless fool!” Elvira said seriously and I think that really got Rihana cos she went out of the hospital angrily
“I’m sorry for her behavior” Steve pleaded
“Who doesn’t know that’s how irrational she is”Elvira answered
Honestly, if not because she’s boss’s fiancee, I know what I can do when she pulled my hair, but I just gave her the respect she doesn’t deserve, next time, I don’t think I’ll be as courteous as this
We were later called in that Stan is up
We all went to see him
“My cute cupcake!” Elvira exclaimed as she hugged him on the bed
“I’m sorry I made you worried” boss said
“You really scared me” Elvira answered
I just stood watching
“Don’t scare us like that again” Steve said
“Yes, and thanks for taking the wine shower instead of Elle” boss said and Steve smiled
“Hey, come here” boss said and I went closer, he held my left hand surprisingly
“I’m sorry for what Rihana did to you” he wishpered and I smiled broadly
“I’m glad you’re getting ok now” I replied and he kept staring at my face for what looked like centuries, we kept staring at each other
“Hey baby!” Rihana exclaimed, just coming into the ward, waking us up from our trance
I quickly stepped back
“My Stanley, I’m so worried” she said and made to hug him but boss stopped her
“If you’re so worried then you shouldn’t have done that to my maid, and you doing that only means you’re petty and low” boss said and Elvira started laughing
“What!, Petty and low?” Rihana said
“Yes in case you dunno” boss answered
“You b@stard!, I’m coming back for you, just wait” she threatened and went out angrily, Steve followed her
“Cupcake, I’m glad you did that” Elvira said, still laughing
“She’ll never learn her lessons” boss replied and smiled at me, I reciprocated and felt my heart beating fast again
“I have to use the restroom” I said and excused myself
I rushed to the restroom and held my chest tightly
Why am I always palpitating anytime he smiles or come close to me?
Ouch….I think I know what’s happening but cut the crap, it can’t happen, he’s the boss and I’m the maid, not even anywhere close so forget about it
I went back to the ward and Elvira is gone
“She said she had to go catch some rest and she dropped a note” boss said and handed over the note
“Take good care of my cupcake” was written inside
I smiled after reading it and sat on top of the bed beside him, it’s actually a private ward so it’s only the two of us
He tilted up and suddenly hugged me, my eyes widened, it’s not the first time hugging each other though but it felt different
“Can we, stay like this for some moment?” He asked
“Why?”
“It’s just what I want to do now”
“So it’s part of my job as a maid?”
“Probably” he answered and I smiled, hugging him more tightly
“You know when I fell and fainted, that flickering moment,I thought about you and Elvira first,I thought I’d never see you two again” he said
“That brings the question, why didn’t you tell me you’re not feeling well as your personal maid?” I asked, breaking the hug
“I don’t want you to worry” he answered and I smiled
“But ..
“Shhhh” he hushed, putting his middle finger between my lips, his face is so close that I can’t breath cos my heart is really beating too fast, I can hear the sound…
“I just don’t want you to worry” he answered and moved back, I can finally breath
“I need to get you something to eat” I said but he stopped me
“No” he said
“What were you thinking?, I’m getting the food from a restaurant owned by a male not far from here” I said
“Oh, ok” he replied and I went to get the food, he ate well and I’m just happy to get to watch him eat
The second day, he was discharged in the evening and we went home together
We started chit chatting in the living room, talking about Random things
He suddenly pulled me up and started heading towards a place in the mansion
“Where are we going?” I asked impatiently
“Just follow me” he replied and kept walking till we got to a place, he opened something on the floor and I saw a step leading down
“This place is called the basement” he said as he led the way and I followed
“What do they do here?” I asked curiously
“It’s where I and Tommy used to play when we were little,it holds lots of memories with him” he replied and suddenly became sad
I held his hand
“You don’t have to be sad” I said and he held my hand more firmly as we walked out of the basement

I decided to go visit Stanley today since I left the hospital in anger yesterday, he really annoyed me with what he said and I’ll make sure he apologises
I got there and there’s no one in the living room but I saw his phone on the stool
Something told me to check
I picked it up and luckily, he never changes password, he used Tommy as the password
I opened it and checked his messages, no suspicious ones
I saw WeChat, so he chats on WeChat?, People really do change
I opened his WeChat and met shock, he only chats with one person, and the person is a girl, wait, isn’t this Hellen?, That ugly maid…
He’s even wishing her goodnight, sweet dreams, something that Stanley has never said to me
My hands started shaking badly and anger consumed me
Just then, I saw them entering the living room, holding hands
Hellen tried to break free but Stanley won’t let go of her hand
“What are you doing here?” He asked and I laughed sarcastically
“Stanley!, I’m your fiancee, not her, why are you holding her hand?, And your WeChat messages, I saw them all, you even wished her goodnight and sweet dreams, you’ve never told me that,not even for once Stanley” I said angrily
“Oh, do you have any problem with it?” He asked calmly
“It’s like my whole body is on fire!” I answered angrily
“Then I think you’ll explode if you see this” he said and hugged her
“Boss…
Hellen tried to break free also but he won’t let go till he’s satisfied
“You two are so dead!” I ranted and went close to them, I raised my hand to slap Hellen but Stanley held it
“Remember what I told you the last time you tried this?, I’m doing it right now” he said and removed the ring from my finger
“What are you doing!??” I said with widened eyes
“Just what I need to do” he answered and headed towards the restroom, I followed,
He got there and opened the WC, he threw the ring inside it and flushed it away before the twinkle of an eye
“What did you just do?” I asked, tears rushing out already
“Just what I have to do to get a rotten mango like you out of my life!” He screamed
