CHAPTER 13

11PM**

The empire is still loud with noises coming from every angle, the guards are on standby, walking around on shifts.

Some are partying, while some are doing night training at the arena, some are still boxing in the ring, while some are fking in the open.

It’s the usual sight at night.

Rapunzel got to the apple tree and looked up at once.

As expected, Clyde is up there.

“Apple fairy” she smiled, keeping her gvn in her strap.

“Stop calling me that” he replied, and she climbed the tree with him.

The apple tree is like an home for him, he has a room but he has never slept in it, he spends his nights and free time on the tree.

“Aren’t you gonna go prepare for your trip tomorrow?” He asked, rubbing his revealing biceps.

Rapunzel took a glance and looked away.

“I’ll start preparing by 12, I’ll just stay here till then” she replied.

Clyde rested his back on a branch and closed his eyes.

Rapunzel looked at him and smiled again.

Pandora was coming to take a peek at Clyde too, but the lights on the tree illuminated their faces.

Immediately she saw Rapunzel with him, she turned back and left.

THE IMPERIUM EMPIRE≈ 12AM**

BIood’s d.eath has made the empire as silent as a graveyard since the news of his d.eath got announced.

The members of the empire have been in mandatory silence, to show respect for his soul.

Lucifer entered the computer lab after getting a call from Enzo ( the godfather of the empire, Blood’s father)

Lucifer is the closest to Blood when he was still alive, so it’s obvious he’ll be the next boss.

He projected his phone screen on the polished ground and Enzo’s face appeared.

“I have just two minutes to spend, The Falcons are hunting” Enzo said immediately.

“I understand boss” Lucifer replied, bowing respectfully.

“Blood is dead, they expect me to come out for revenge,but not when Preet is still well and alive” Enzo laughed, smoking hemp calmly.

“Preet is still alive?, Where’s she?, We need her here boss” Lucifer said.

“Not now, but control the mob for now” Enzo replied.

“Yes boss!” Lucifer bowed.

“Together with Jeff” Enzo said.

“Understood boss” Lucifer replied, and the projector went off.

Lucifer smiled slowly, clenching his fists.

“Falcons, you bstards should better be ready”.

NEXT MORNING≈ THE FALCONS EMPIRE**

Mary woke up to find herself in the apartment again, her eyes widened.

With what she did, she was expecting to find herself somewhere else, but here she is.

“Wait…it’s morning” she said, walking to the window.

She opened it and when she saw it’s really morning, she sighed.

“I saw another day, thanks to Jesus” she said, walking back to the bed.

She touched her lips and pouted, it still hurts.

She picked her bible and read seven different verses before kssing her rosary, then she started praying silently.

She was still at it when Aaron walked in with her breakfast which he dropped on the bed.

“Take that away, I’m fasting” she said , and Aaron looked at her.

She looked at him too, curving her lips

“I’m fasting” she said, and her stomach rumbled immediately.

She quickly held it.

‘I can’t let hunger ruin my prayers, I can’t’ she thought before facing Aaron again.

“Take this devilish food away” she said.

“Fine” he replied, taking the tray.

The sweet aroma of the meal flooded the room as Aaron walked out.

Mary sniffed the air, licking her lips as he closed the door.

Her stomach rumbled again.

“I’m hungry” she said and sat on the floor, her bible fell.

“My intestines are gone!, the worms must be feeding on them, oh my stomach!!”

“You think Rapunzel and Pandora will be able to bring down Luca?, Luca is a smarta$s” Bvllet grinned, coming out of his apartment with Virus after an all night fk

“No matter how hard I think about it, they don’t deserve the mission, why do they get the tough missions and we get the simple ones, I love bI.oodbaths too!” Virus replied.

Terrius and Clyde walked past them, going towards the underground park.

“Wait … They’re going with the Lords to the mission?” Virus said.

“Yes, plus Hellcat” Bullet replied and Virus faced him quickly.

“Then what are we supposed to do?, Read the bible with Holy Mary?” She said.

“Maybe” Nightingale replied, appearing behind them.

“What the heck happened to your arm” Virus asked immediately she saw her bandaged arm.

“Romanio got angry last night, cos I confronted him about that bch” Nightingale replied.

” Can’t we just make her go extinct?” Bullet smirked

“No qualms, I’ll just get rid of her secretly” Nightingale replied.

“How?” Virus asked.

Nightingale smiled.
