CHAPTER 152
DEEP FOREST**
The three slept under a shed that was made by the Catalyst and Leenox last night, and the sun was already shinning brightly before Beryl woke up.
The shed is actually beside the river.
She sat up on the leaves bed and yawned lightly, stretching like a starfish.
“Finally awake” Catalyst said from her right side, and she looked that way to see him sitting beside the river, he’s drinking alcohol as expected.
Leenox is not far from him, he’s roasting a fish in a small fire.
“It’s morning already” she smiled, standing up.
Thanks to Leenox, her thigh has been bandaged, though she still feels pains, but it subsided already.
She limped to them and rinsed her mouth with water from the river first.
“Hey.. Leenox” she waved.
He looked at her and only nodded, then he concentrated back on roasting the fish, and Beryl limped to Catalyst.
“Wanna drink?” He asked immediately she sat beside him, pointing his bottle of alcohol at her.
“She took it and drank from it.
“Bravo!, I like you” he smiled, and she looked at him.
“Alcohol tastes good” she said, taking another gulp.
“Smart crybaby” he smiled, roughing her hair.
They smiled at each other, and he looked at her leg.
“The pains?” He asked.
“It subsided” she replied, and he nodded before taking his alcohol from her.
Beryl looked at Leenox, then back at him.
“Who sent you guys to rescue me?” She asked in a whisper.
“It’s confidential, we can’t tell you” Catalyst replied.
“I’m going crazy!, I just want to know whoever it is!” She said.
“She’s a female” and her name starts with P” Catalyst replied.
“Female?, P?” Beryl said confusedly.
“Not someone you know, so quit trying to figure out” he replied after drinking.
Leenox came with the roasted fish in a leaf, and he set it in front of them.
“You’re not eating?” Catalyst asked.
“I don’t have an appetite” he replied, walking away.
“He’s really not… gonna eat?” Beryl asked, staring at Leenox’s backside.
“Let him be, just eat” Catalyst replied, eating already.
Beryl kept looking at Leenox.
