The car was as quiet as a dove, it so awkward for me and I kinda wonder what he write and sketch in his book with so much frustration on.
“Karla”Zayn finally called.
“What?”
“I’m sorry”he said and I folded my hands.
“For what?”
“Ruining your day”he said and I scoff.
“Thank God you know your ruin my day and now I’m warning you, I don’t ever want to see your face and I hate you so much”I yelled at him and finally calm down when I realize Leo was sitting beside me.
“You know that not possible anyway i know you will get to like me”He said and I laugh.
“I don’t like Playboys. And for your Information I like someone else and he is so much cool and not be nosy and in addition doesn’t talk too much”
“Wait, why do I have a feeling you are talking about Leo”
“Huh”I shifted uncomfortably.
“Leo is quiet, unpopular even with his good look and isn’t nosy and I’m not either”
“Just focus on driving”I roll my eye.
“Are you really coming for the party?”
“Hell no, I don’t attend parties”I scoff.
“You__”
“I don’t care and for your Information I don’t want to have anything to do with a popular playboy”I interrupted him.
“Do you have a pen?”Leo finally say something and his voice his as cool as fk unlike when he was so drunk last night spilling out nonsense.
“Yes s_ure”I stuttered as I search my bag for a pencil and I found one and pass it to him.
“Thanks”he muttered and I just gave a small smile. He finally halted in the front of my car and I alighted without saying a word and he drive into their own components but I was already in.
“I’m home mom”I screamed.
“Thank goodness”She came out of the kitchen with apron and part of her hair cover on flour.
“Are you trying to bake?”I mocked her as she went to get a bottle of water in the refrigerator.
“I’ve you forgotten I invited our neighbors for dinner, they will be here by 6 and I want you to take care of Alex while I get things ready”
“But mom!”
“Don’t be a lazy a$$”
“I hate them”I cried.
“All of them”She crossed her chest.
“Actually not all but_”
“What is his name?”
“I don’t know?”I roll my eye and headed to my room before she start Interrogating me.
“I will find out sooner or later”She shouted but I just ignore her and went to my room straight.
After taking a quick shower I change into my pyjamas and grab my phone before walking out of the room to get Alex ready.
“Don’t tell me you are going to be wearing that for dinner”Mom shot me a dagger look as I was coming down the stairs with Alex.
“She sucks in fashion, I can’t be dress in pink”Alex said and I scatter his hair.
“What should I be wearing?”I shrug.
“Come with me?”She said and pull my hand and I let go of Alex as she pull me back to my room.

“What are you doing? Mom!!”She kept scattering all my cloth on the floor.
“How come I didn’t realize my cute daughter sucks at fashion?”
“How do you expect me to know?”I shrug and she brought out a red gown from my closet.
“Perfect”She Muttered.
“Mom I’m never going to wear that, firstly it not a date, secondly it too short and revealing”I said and she laugh.
“You problem”She said and I frown.
After we had a Mom and daughter battle over me getting a make up done for the first time and wearing the cloth that is showing all my curves perfectly and she refuse to allow me pack my hair and I didn’t like the fact it too long and curly but I have no choice.
I stare at myself in the mirror a little smile form on my lips.
‘Will Leo really like me if he sees me like this tonight’ that was my first thought until my eye landed on mom and she was almost teary up.
“What wrong?”
“You look so amazing, I can’t even believe you are all mine”She said and I smile.
The door bells rings and my mom quickly wipe her tears and smile.
“I will get the door, come down now okay”She said and I nod before I watch her leave and I face the mirror back.
“You should just tell him? What if he actually remember but he is also ashame to approach me or he doesn’t want to push it because we are neighbors now”
“Karla”Mom called and I roll my eye before I walk out of the room and I was really nervous as I take the hallway and walk down the stairs.
The first person my eye met was Zayn and it like if I didn’t see his jaws down.
he was also dressed in a tuxedo suit and I was thankful I wasn’t wearing that Minnie pyjamas for dinner.
“His Karla”Grace hug me and I shook hands with John.
Where is Leo? Why Is he always absent from the family. “You can have your seat”Mom said and we all settled down and I sit beside Zayn that was the only available space except from the one opposite me actually but I don’t want to seat beside mom.
“You look gorgeous tonight”Zayn said and I fake a smile.
“It pointless so quit it”I whispered to him and frown.
“I can see you two are getting along well”Mom said and I shot my eye up to see them all staring at us.
Is everyone blind to see I don’t like Zayn but instead I like that gentle soul of his brother. The door bell ring breaking the awkward moment.
“I will get the door”I quickly stood up and head to the door.
I twist the door knob and open it revealing my night comet.
“Leo”his eye kinda widened up when he saw me and same as mine because he is looking hot like never before.
He stretch forward and touch my lips and he close his like he was observing something.
“Wh-at are you doing?”I asks with his touch sending shiver down my spine but instead he close his eye shut.
“What taking you so long?”Mom asked and I quickly push his finger off my lips.
“I’m sorry”he mumbled.
“It fine come in”I said and open the door for him properly and he walk in and I just stood by the door Wondering what just happened.
