Though Jericho has been in thought about yesterday he didn’t allow it to affect his work
Lupita on the other side didn’t say anything about it again, she just wanted him to accept it before moving to the next level
“Sorry for keeping you guys waiting, I was in a meeting with the board members,” Vera said and seats down gently
“So what did I miss? Have you guys started already? Or should I say where should we start?” She asked all at once
“You seem too happy today,” Leo said with a smile
“Why?” She asked wondering what he was talking about
“Nothing, just that you have never talked this much before, you always take it one at a time,” he replied and she chuckled lightly
“Let’s say am having a good day today, so shall we,” she said and quickly changed the topic
They started with Jericho who gave all his speech without a single smile making Vera couldn’t help but wonder why, she knows him as the cheerful happy guy but today is different
It took them three hours to conclude their decision and make out their plans for their projects next week
“So next week we will be going to Australia to check the place?” Leo asked
“Yeah, sure,” Vera replied and went over to her table
She secretly stares at Jericho who was still packing his belongings and when he finished he walked up to her
“Hey, emm… Would you mind having dinner with me tonight?” Jericho asked
She kept quiet
The only thing she was wondering about was why he has such a straight face, she saw Lupita this morning and she has a straight face and now Jericho Also has a straight face too
As much as she wants to keep her identity from them, seeing them both like this makes her look like a bad person, she wondered if they get into a fi..ght or something
“Miss Adams,” Jericho called
“Oh, sorry… You were saying something?” She asked and blinked
” I asked if you would like to have dinner with me tonight. It’s ok if you don’t want, I just wanted someone to talk to,” he said gently
“Vera, I was thinking if we could hang out tonight so that we could study more about this coming project and look into some things cos I love the plans that we come up with, “Leo said
Vera looks at both of them and checked the time
“I have to pick up my kids from school, I don’t like keeping them waiting,” she said going outside
“So, are you gonna text me?” Leo asked but she ignored him and left
Jericho stared at him and left

Franklin was in his office working on how to get back their company on the stand when a call from his wife entered his phone
“Hey, could you pick up the kids today? Am kind of hucked up with something,” Anna said over the phone
“I can’t do that am busy, I told you that my company is falling apart and we are going Bankrupt soon if I don’t fix things……”
“It’s just for today please,” Anna cut in
“Anna I can’t, I need to work cos my company is at a great risk which Means it might fall if I don’t work hard,” he replied
“Please, just for today,” she pleaded
He signed softly
“Fine, by what time?” He asked checking the time
“Now, you are two minutes late already so please be fast I don’t want them to wait for so long,” Anna said
“I get it,” he replied and grabbed his car keys
