Romina is sited in her office doing nothing, she actually has a great deal of work to finish but Iris ruined her day and now she feels like doing nothing.

Iris never gave her details of what she was going to do, not even how she was going to find out who the girl is.

Romina felt bad for kidnapping Elias and falling in love with him, all she wanted back then was to help her mom.

Falling in love was not part of her plan but it can’t be avoided now, she turned the chair around and faces the transparent wall behind her.

‘What is the way out?’ She asked herself, she is not ready to let go of her feelings for Elias nor is she ready to lose her friendship with Iris.

A palm covered her eyes and she flinch, she took the fellow’s wrist and twist it.

“It’s me Romina!” Steve yell behind her and she let go of his wrist

“Why did you sneak up on me?” She queried furiously, she has no idea why she is suddenly mad at him.

“Seriously? Aren’t you supposed to apologize for this?” He questioned back raising his wrist a little.

“I’m sorry,” she apologized and walked to the sofa in her office. “Are you alright? Should I ask Nina to get ice?” Romina asked worriedly as she watched him try to ease himself of the pain.

“My wrist is fine but I don’t think you are fine,” he replied walking towards her.

“I’m fine,” she replied. “You were spacing out and that hardly happens to you unless you have a lot on your mind. Share your burdens with me,” he said and sat on the sofa opposite her.

“I am fine Steve,” she insisted, he didn’t say a word but simply stared at her. Something was bothering her and it was so obvious but she didn’t understand why she was trying too hard to hide it, he is a friend after all.

“You don’t believe me, do you?” She asked after studying his expression. “Not one bit,” he answered.

“I am fine and I didn’t space out, just believe me already!” She groaned frustratedly.

“You are free, right? Let’s go out for lunch,” he changed the topic since it was obvious she didn’t open up to him.

She wanted to turn him down and he added. “Only then I will believe you are fine.”

“You are a wizard!” She snapped and stood up, she picked up her phone from the table and walked out of the office while Steve trailed behind her.

They drove in Steve’s car, he took her to a restaurant not far from the company.

He would have taken her to a more expensive and r®mantic restaurant but she is a busy lady, and he wouldn’t want her to get mad at him.

“I am suddenly famished,” she blurted and turn to Steve. “I guess it’s because I see people eating, hurry let’s get a table or I’ll just steal some food,” she joked and he laughed but not out loud.

“Come,” he held her hand and took her to a table, she smiled and took a sit hurriedly.

“What are we having?” She asked. “Whatever you want,” he replies and she picked the menu

“Good afternoon, sir and ma’am,” a waitress greeted. “Afternoon,” Steve replied since Romina was engrossed in checking out the meal.

“Smoked salmon scramble and lemonade juice please,” Romina ordered

“Hamburger and soda,” Steve ordered. “Okay,” the waitress responded simply and left.

“You still like eggs,” Steve said as Romina waited impatiently for her. “Yeah, can’t believe you still remember,” she chuckled.

“I remember every detail about you, we are best friends,” he stated. “Don’t you remember my likes and dislike?” He asked.

“I’m not sure,” she replied and their orders were placed in front of them. “Enjoy your meal,” the waitress said with a smile.

“Thanks,” Romina appreciated and started devouring her meal that she was oblivious of Steve who hadn’t started eating.

He let out a sad smile as he watched her eat, he remembered everything about her but she hardly remember him.

He has always loved her but she never noticed his existence, she sipped from her lemonade and noticed him staring at her.

“You okay? You didn’t touch your meal,” she said and motioned at the untouched food.

“You haven’t changed,” he muttered. “I am the best aren’t I?” She asked and winked at him.

“You are,” he replied. “Eat up, I have to head back to the company,” she said and he started eating but not without glancing at her whenever he had the chance.

“I must confess this is the best lunch I had this week,” she said as they walked out of the restaurant.

“I’m glad,” he muttered. “What did you decide to have lunch with me?” She asked.

“Romina,” he called and she hummed. “Do you remember when we were kids and I promised to make you happy?” He asked and she nodded.

“I just realized why I said that you see…” He trailed off and before he could complete his sentence Romina’s phone rang.

“Excuse me, Steve,” she said before picking up, she took two steps away from him and placed the phone on her ear.

“I’ll be there,” she said to the caller and turned to face Steve who looked super nervous.

“We have to head back, I have a guest,” she said and walked towards Steve’s car while he followed behind.

Mrs. Zaragoza placed Diana on the bed softly, Diana fell asleep while watching TV while Draco played games with Zoey.

“This feels familiar,” she muttered as she stroked Diana’s hair softly, they were in a guest room.

“Why does my heart feel like this?” She wondered as her heart beat faster than usual.

“Ahhh!” She winced in pa!n and held her head as she felt severe pa!n in her head.

“My head,” she hissed in pain as her vision became blurry, she closed her eyes and tried to endure the pa!n.

She was hoping to get to her room and have some medicine or get some sleep but the pa!n was more than what she can endure.

She fell back on the bed and face-palmed herself, despite feeling the pain she didn’t want to hurt Diana or wake her.

An image suddenly came like a flash to her and the pain got worse, she hissed silently as images of a little girl came like a flash but the girl was blurry.

The pain suddenly disappeared and the images too. “Was that my memory?” Mrs. Zaragoza asked no one in particular.

“Mom,” Neil called and her heart skipped a beat. “I have been waiting forever,” he complained.

“I’m sorry, son,” she said and stood up, she walked out of the room while he closed the door.

Mrs. Zaragoza knew the girl she saw was Romina but knowing isn’t enough she wants to recall everything. She feels like a stranger in her own body.

“Neil, can I request something?” She asked. “What is it?” He questioned back.

“I want to get back my memories,” she blurted and he felt like he was h!t with a bat.

“How do you plan on doing that?” He asked with a straight face, he doesn’t want her to recall her memories.

It’s too early, he has not accomplished anything yet. He still needs her to write a new Will and get rid of Romina.

“We can do the things we did in the past, revisit places. It might jog my memory, you will do that for me won’t you?” She asked.

“Of course, I will,” he replied with a fake smile. “Tomorrow is fine by you, isn’t it?” Mrs. Zaragoza asked.

“It is,” he replied nervously, he wishes she would let him go already.

“Will you stay for dinner?” Mrs. Zaragoza asked. “No, I have to be somewhere,” he replied and she nodded.

“Please be here tomorrow,” she pleaded and hug him. ‘I will be,” he replied mentally.

“Bye son,” she said and peck his cheek, he forced a smile and literally fly out of the mansion.

“Thank goodness you are back, where the fu-k have you been?!” Jerry snapped as Neil walked into the house

“Sounds as if you were genuinely worried,” Neil said and rolled his eyes.

“I was worried, I thought your sister murdered you,” he said and Neil glared at him.

“I need some money,” Jerry blurted. “That was why you were worried wasn’t it?” Neil asked.

“Partially,” he replied. “I have no money and I need you to shut your mouth because I need to think!” Neil snapped.

“What do you mean by you have no money? This isn’t part of our deal!” Jerry yelled at him

“I told you to shut your fr.eaking mouth! Do you want to lose your t®ngue?” Neil growled.

“You bluff a lot Neil,” he mocked and Neil pulled out a gvn.
